I came here today with a friend after seeing it a couple times and wanting to go in. We walked in and were immediately greeted by friendly employees. We ordered on a machine but I was able to ask the employee questions about what sauces I should pick. I had to try multiple things and I have to say it was all great! I think the half and half corn dog with potatoes and sugar was my favorite. They make the corn dogs after you order so be prepared to wait a few minutes while you pick at your donuts. There were some issues with the batter this morning but the employee communicated with us and let us know it was going to take longer and gave us some options. I really appreciated the open communication and the spot is so cute we didn't mind waiting. Inside the store they have a couple small tables and games, we thought that was so fun! The reason I took a star off is they have a few things to work out but they definitely have the potential to be a 5. We asked for water and he had to search for bottled water that isn't kept cold. He mentioned no one usually orders it. It seems like if they're going to have games and tables in the store they should be more prepared for people to eat there and at least have a small drink fridge. Donuts were too oily and does not have the same consistency as the Bellevue location. Not sure if they're owned by the same people but I would recommend going to the Bellevue location instead. I also got a matcha milk tea with oat milk which tasted more like just plain oat milk. The color was a hint of the matcha green, so subtle I had to ask them if it was really the matcha I ordered. Was not worth the $7 drink. Would not go back. read more

Their doughnuts are great - good mochi consistency. They are newly open. Went with a friend on opening day and the line was crazy. Hope the lines get better. Would hope in the future that store would use register in addition to large personal ordering screen to help move line along. Overall would recommend trying. read more

I love mochinut it's usually so good but not this time! They took over 45 minutes to make 3 simple things and the two workers were just talking! On top of this I saw the guy take some cheese off my Korean hot dog and eat it! There were also sketchy people and everyone looked unhappy and were mad about something. I heard the workers say I'm sry to everyone there not knowing what happened.They had no mochinuts at all. Overall this was the worst mochinut store I've been to. read more

In honor of national ice cream day, we went and tried mochinut's soft serve vanilla/choc swirl. This soft serve is different than what you are used to from McDonald's or Dairy Queen. Had been waiting for this open for some time...since they first posted ok IG, months ago. Now I don't have to get the tasty donuts delivered from Lynnwood. Seems it is owned by a family and when walking in you are greeted warmly. Feels nice and a welcome addition to the Canyon Park neighborhood. Clean shop with nice ambiance and speedy self checkout terminals make it quick to order. Updated review on 10/3/23 and some stars removed: Went back yesterday and got 2 donuts. They didn't have adequate bags so they put it in a random container which made it tricky to take it to go. Sorry, I don't show down 2 donuts in one setting and one was for my daughter. Suffice to say they were damned by the time I got home. I reached out to them on IG and made a friendly suggestion of maybe getting better packaging and was met with "Thanks, they are coming...see you again soon!" No trying to make it better by offering replacements or anything. Shame. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

A very clean space with computer self ordering. The menu was out of a few things but visually it was an easy process. Ordered a corn dog with cheese and hotdog and potato and it was delicious! Made fresh when you order. I did not order a donut because they aren't exactly my preference but the variety was good. The colors and flavors were fun. I wish the seating was more. Took our to go. Ordered delivery. Mochinuts were hard and stale like they had been sitting out forever. My Korean hotdog was basically burnt and did not get the dipping sauce either. I've had mochinut in other locations and they were always soft and chewy and amazing. These were disgusting. I don't know if it's because I ordered an hour before closing. This place just had their grand opening 7/22/23. It was very organized, line moved fairly quickly. They ran out of Korean dogs, but it was expected, being grand opening weekend. Donuts were really tasty, drinks were pretty good. They came in 16oz "sealed can" ..very unique, never seen that before from a mochi-nut place or a boba place (perfect touch ). They do have a self serve screen, place your order and wait to the side. Will think of this place next time I'm craving some mochi-nutz! read more

We dropped by during their soft launch week and was a slightly disappointed that they didn't have a whole lot of options. They ran out of corn dogs, which was too bad because we really wanted to try them out. We did get half a dozen of mochinut and we really liked them. Just opened so I would give them a little while to adjust. Wait time for the mozzarella was way too long. Make sure you ask the wait time before ordering. The staff and the manager/owner will get the hang of if I'm sure. It's a little on the pricey side but what isn't. Makes for a nice treat. Food was fresh and mozzarella was excellent. Service was absolutely terrible, no greeting or acknowledgment of entry. waited a long time to pay with cash and employees had an attitude. There were only two employees who seemed to be lost on what to do and more focused on talking to each other, than serving the customers coming in. We had a family birthday recently where nearly everything went wrong. We asked the staff if they could put a birthday note in the box and they went above and beyond with cute additions. Really turned the vibe around when the delicious snacks arrived. I was so looking forward to trying Mochinut! I ordered a donut and the potato dog. I love mochi so I was really anticipate this being an enjoyable experience. The staff was pleasant and got me my order in a timely manner. While I love mochi and it was an interesting concept, I didn't really care for the donut. It was chewy and gummy rather than fluffy and doughy which was surprisingly unpleasant. They also did not have a pastry bag where I could grab a donut to go which was a negative for me bc I was on my lunch break and wanted to take it to go. Same with the dog. I had to stay there and eat. The dog was also too much. It was very heavy on the stick and the mochi batter and potato topping was so heavy. Sad to say I probably won't be back. read more

Employees closed early on a Saturday night turning away multiple customers due to them not preparing more items sufficient for the need of weekend business. Not impressed with this location. Was very excited for the opening of a Mochinut in Bothell, but unfortunately it hasn't lived up to expectations. Korean corn dogs are never consistent in size- my friend and I both ordered one and hers was almost half the size of mine, yet we are paying the same price at the end of it all? Also don't bother ordering extra dipping sauce as they charge you for each extra container and they only fill the container about a quarter full, it's very strange. Not worth the money, there are better places to get Korean corn dogs read more

I am going to hope that the donuts are better then the customer service. This is my first experience with Mochinut anywhere and I was not greeted with a smile, I was not helped. They were not busy 2 people in the entire restaurant and 4 people behind the counter. Not a "can I help you" Just a response of "order on the kiosk" Not a real good first impression. Will probably think twice regardless of the taste in returning. If you don't like customer service, don't work at a place that provides customer service. read more
