My sister comes here often so I figured I'd give it a shot while I was in the area. The place is cute and a little whimsical. Ample seating. With parking. I was greeted as soon as I came in. She was sweet and kind. Picked up two mochi donuts. It's a weakness of mine. They seemed bigger than your average mochi donut so that was good. Got the matcha and the black sesame. I'm so happy this place recently opened up near me! I love mochi donuts but there's none near me but then I saw that this place just opened up near where I live! I went there as soon as i had a day off around 11am (had to get there early so donuts don't run out). I got the Taro mochi donut and I loved it. It was fresh and chewy and sweet...glad it's not too close to me or else this would be my daily breakfast. I also got the vegetarian Bahn mi / Vietnamese sandwich with the spicy level. I am amazed at how tasty they made the filling. Usually vegetarian options are hit or a miss but glad this was a hit. Also got thai coffee milk tea. This was good too. Service was nice. It took some time to get the milk tea but it was probably because it was freshly made. Ambiance was cute. Great place for a quick snack. I will be back. read more

Very cute new place that opened in Clinton! The donuts were super fresh and they had a wide variety of options. I got the matcha donut which came with a Pocky it was delicious! They have a large selection of drinks including milk teas and smoothies. I got the Thai iced tea with tapioca pearls. Was so excited to hear about this new place. Had mochi donuts in LA and was eagerly awaiting their grand opening. My son and I arrived around 11:45am. There was a line wrapped around their front entrance and their donuts case was almost empty. Their outside is so cute and inside matches as well. Since they were pretty much sold out of everything I was able to try their freshly baked strawberry mochi. OMG....LOVE!! I also ordered their fried chicken for my son - it was like karaage, fried chicken pieces Japanes style. My son gobbled them up! TIP: Order the mochi you want and they will box them up and keep to the side for pick up. My son's girlfriend did this and her family LOVED the fresh mochi donuts!! read more

Probably one of the best mochi donuts I've had. It's very soft with a chew, which is what I want from a mochi donut. The frosting was perfectly sweet. My daughter absolutely loved this. I am writing to share a disappointing experience I recently had at your Mochi Queen location. I visited the store to purchase a Thai milk tea and requested, before the drink was made, to add a little bit of liquid sugar. This was because the last time I ordered the same drink, it was quite tasteless. The cashier who assisted me this time was named Linda. I noticed that she ignored my request while preparing the drink. When she handed me the drink, I politely asked again for a bit of liquid sugar to be added. To my surprise, she refused and responded by shaking her head, with an attitude that came off as dismissive and unpleasant. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected. Thankfully, I approached another cashier--the same person who had helped me during my previous visit--and she was kind enough to listen and assist with my request. I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to help. Unfortunately, Linda's behavior left a very negative impression on me. Her disregard for customer satisfaction and her attitude were unacceptable. Because of this experience, I've decided that I will not return to Mochi Queen in the future. read more

We were stopping in New Jersey on our way to the beach and wanted a nice treat. We came across Mochi Queen and found that they did both mochi donuts and sandwiches, along with many other offerings. Our food was both delicious and pleasing to the eye. We had some brown sugar mochi donuts (my favorite of the ones we tried) and a Vietnamese pork sandwich that absolutely blew us away. The inside was very nicely decorated and colorful as well. The service was fast and when we tried the donuts, we knew we had to get more to go. Pretty decent donuts and food, I was a bit disappointed in my pho as there was no basil or bean sprouts in it which are pretty standard ingredients for pho. Instead there was romaine lettuce which was odd. read more

first impression walking in, it is a cute store but no one welcomes you no one said hello!! no greeting! I saw online the prices and I thought wow these donuts must be amazing!! I was wrong. They were dry and hard my daughter said it best that it tastes like a dried stale funnel cake. I did not try the drinks. there was about 3-4 people in the restaurant or store and everyone was served and I just stood there about 6 minutes later someone "can I help you?" I asked for three donuts and I went to pay and the lady working didn't speak to me, and I had to rip my own receipt off and sign it and hand it back then the second receipt came out and I had to pull that off as well then I said thank you with no response and then I said have a great day no response! very disappointed and not worth the money. read more
