This place is fantastic! I was here at least once a week every summer. I personally now know the guys that run the place every day and they're all great! Great service and really really good quality hookah! If your hookah needs some fixing they have no problem customizing it to what you want; just ask!! This is my 5th time here the service is great and the food is amazing best hookah I've ever had there lemon drop is good . Also try there Yemeni tea. Best lounge in Brooklyn. Staff is friendly and has 2 huge TVs in the back for personal relaxation. This place has good hookah and authentic food. If that's all you care about then this is a good place to go to if you're in the area. It's also open 24 hours. However, it's VERY dirty. The couches have holes in them, the floor is dirty, the menu is sticky, the table is not clean. It kinda ruins the vibe if you care about things like that. read more

I came to this place on a NONbusy Saturday to do hookah and get a bite with my sis. I come into a highly lit deli-restaurantish area. I look further back and the area was a little dimmer, more of lounge-like, like what we were looking for. I proceeded to the back and was told we weren't allowed to go there because it was RESERVED. -_____- I asked again bc I was a little confused. Then I was told it was reserved for people that goes there EVERYDAY. Idk if I look like an idiot or something but I told him well I come "everyday" and he said then next time I'll have a reserved seat back there for you. Idk what kind of nonsense or secret pack they had going on there but I do not think I wanted to find out. Seemed a little fishy. They need to get their STORIES straight and the workers need to be a little more competent. It's about customer service. The guy got the order wrong, no big deal - but when my wife called to tell them (and hopefully correct it) they basically told her to GFY. Compared to hookah establishments like Sahara East or Horus Cafe, this bar may seem like a dead zone (no drinks served, no house music blaring, no twenty-something uppity crowd) - but if you are in the mood for hookah, this is a great place to get your fix in Brooklyn. Good service, friendly environment, & i only gave it 3 stars because they gave me unlimited charcoals & kept refilling it unlike a lot of other hookah bars that don't do anything like that & it was cheaper then the average hookah bar. However, the place was disgusting, it looked like it hasn't been changed for 300 years, the seats we're torn, & they we're playing horrible middle eastern music the entire time. About 2 miles from the Barclay center and right near the court house, Mocha Hookah is a great spot for an extended lunch. The staff is nice and they constantly replenish your coals quickly and without prompting. The ambiance is shoddy and run down but it's cozy, has wifi and great food/coffee. The price is what really makes this place though. A hookah with a gyro and soda is only $20. read more

Terrible experience. It's been over 90 degrees all week and they barely had working air conditioning inside! When asked if they could possibly make it cooler they insisted it was the coldest it could go however both units were barely blowing out any air. The waitress was very incapable of getting any of part of our order correct. She apologized and explained she was new. Okay, that's fine. But in that case they should have had her shadow someone so she wouldn't screw up as much. Terrible management. My friend ordered bubble tea with black tea. When she asked for milk and sugar she was given a cup FULL OF MILK AND SUGAR WITH NO TEA. I don't plan on ever coming back here and don't recommend anyone every coming here. read more

Very fun to do hookah, it is definitely a chill spot. A lot of people do come in. It is more of a sit back and relax kind of place. I did not try their food but I am sure it was good because everyone else that came ordered food. All I had was their french fries because I started to feel a bit light headed and decided to munch on something. I tried the Watermelon Head and it was AWESOME. We used to go there weekly when it was the Fountain restaurant. It was beautifully decorated with friendly courteous and prompt waiters. The place was clean and bright. We stopped going there since it became more grungy: poorly lit, dirty seats, dark, even sinister. Half the lights were not working and the backwards hats on the fellow behind the counter did not inspire me. The clientele is young, everyone pretending to be real cool fogging the air with non tobacco smoke which totally distracts you from enjoying any kind of food. Service is slow to non-existent. And the décor of booths with cushions is a poorly conceived idea. Many people put their feet on the cushions, which are dirty. The table tops have the veneer coming off and, in sum, nothing worked. It's become a den of non-dining, laptop toting, smoke-inhaling off-putting youth. Save your money and lungs, and try a real dining experience down the block. read more

I went there this afternoon. Nobody greeted us. We sat and after a few minutes someone finally came and took our order. The food was mediocre. The feta was good, but that was about it. The pita was hard. The baba ghanoush had no flavor. There didn't seem to be any employees that were really working. I think they were smoking the hookah. I always carry metal straws to drink from. When we paid the bill, we left without taking them out of our glasses. I made it all the way to the Staten Island Ferry before realizing i had forgotten them. I called the restaurant to let them know but lost my signal on the boat. I tried to call a few times but got a busy signal or no answer at all. When i got back to where i was staying, I called again. Only to be told, that the dishwasher had thrown them away and the trash was already outside. I call bullshit. I knew it was a long shot, but what can i do. I will just have to buy more. Yesterday, we chose it over all worthy competitors on Atlantic Avenue after reading other Yelp reviews, and were rewarded for our research. The kibbi, babaganoush, humus, tabuli, cauliflower, mixed grill, rice, felafel, and service by Naim were all outstanding. We were a party of 9 & would go back in a minute. Our total was extremely reasonable, portions were generous, & guests took home the leftovers. Decor is minimal. The food and service are why you go. read more

Having come here before and bought 2 hookahs for 7 PEOPLE WE were obviously getting ripped off. They were very disrespectful and did not want to negotiate with us. Not coming here again. Stay away. We went here and had hookah the first time. The hookah was great and they have comfy chairs. My espresso was espresso. A few of my compatriots got drinks with what looked like poop in them. I Iaughed at the shituation because i got off scott free with my coffee sans doody. Second round I went with my babe and got uncomfortably stared at by everyone in there and the staff with no offer of services. We walked out. Third strike and they were out. We went and asked for a hookah and glasses of water (will never forget the downright poopiness of the first experience) the guy said we had to have two hookahs and bottles of water. The bottles we agreed with and then he said we had to get food. This was one on a Sunday and we were the only people in the place. It's a joke now when we walk by to ask "wanna go?" Because this place hated my money, and the rage inside can only be quelled with bad jokes. I generally hate everything but if this place collapsed into a sink hole I'd be upset because I couldn't make that joke every time I walk by. I want to apply for a job there to see who gets to poop in the drinks. I'd offer to buy this place with Monopoly money and Pokemon cards just so I could pull the deal at the last second, hopefully sending them directly to fail.
