I've had a very long history with this company and this location in Woodinville. Just got home from…read morepicking up my third vehicle that was converted to hand controls and again it was done flawlessly. Tim Gifford and his crew in the custom install portion of the business is top notch and I would highly recommend. My first two vehicles that were converted have now logged over 160,000 mi with the same hand control mechanism. They used the original hand control system from my first vehicle and put it in my second and I still drive that back and forth 58 miles a day to work. Over the last eight years I have never brought the system in for an adjustment because it has worked perfectly this whole time. Besides they paint all the fastener connections so if the paint is cracked then you know it's had movement. Always a quick visual check but still the same old little paint blob's. 8 months ago my mom died and left me some money for me to buy my dream car. A 1970 Buick GS convertible. Only one problem, I'm a wheelchair guy and of course I would have to have it converted. Tim met with me and we came up with a new hand control idea and I just drove it home here to Burien, Washington around 30 miles away from the facility and I just know it's going to be working forever. I'm 50 years old and I have been a customer of Absolute Mobility for the last 10 years. One day I will have to buy one of those beautiful conversion vans in their showroom but "NOT TODAY!!!!... Looking forward to a great summer cruising in the new (old classic) convertible. I've dreamed about this car for the last 20 years. Thanks Tim!! Thanks for turning the dream into reality. Todd Small

I have a simple hand brake installed by Absolute Mobility in Woodinville in 2023. The installation…read moreis fine and the hand brake works without a problem. I was advised that the hand brake should be inspected/maintained each year. Understand this is essentially a rod connected between a hand lever to the brake. Everything is visible; no dismantling is necessary to inspect the hand brake. I was informed that the service charge for looking at the hand brake required 1 hour of service/labor. Mind you, there is nothing wrong. How do these folks justify 1 hour of labor when the job should be completed in 10 minutes?

It seems like pulling teeth from a lion. The receptionist is pleasant enough, but getting approval…read morefor repairs takes way too long. I have L&I which at times does go at a slow pace themselves on dishing out these approvals. Having only one tech knowing how to do a particular job doesn't make any sense when you offer your services throughout several counties. A repair shop that deals with L&I and other types of insurance should have people doing daily check ups on the approvals. I call my claim manager exchange pleasantries keep things on an even keel and find out the approval NU Motion had been waiting on took place several weeks prior to my call that I had just made prior to calling L&I. I hang up recall NU Motion get a voice mail leave a pleasant reply informing such. I get a return call stating they just ordered the items I needed. I'm a bit disappointed in the way this panned out, as it's been over a month and I still have no idea when these parts will be in. "We'll give you a call when they get in." Then what? I've been dealing with this type of stuff for over 30 years. I've seen people who are go getter's and get these approvals in a timely manner and I've seen those who totally forget what is what. I guess, I'm asking too much for better service as things we need fixing help us lead more close a "normal life" than for those who are able bodied, and haven't a clue.

This location is the worst of the worst. I have never I my life delt with such incompetent service…read more I have used their services since 2019 and have always felt they where the only game in town. I recently switched because of issues with getting a new chair based on medical reasons. From what their manager told me the two individuals working on my paperwork never started the work. Although they had me personally contact my Pt and Dr. to get the paperwork thet asked for. My doctor was so pissed about this last time I had a visit we spoke about this issue for five to ten minutes instead of the appointment I was there for. The corporation that owns this branch needs to look into them and find out why they have employees talking to clients on a recorded line about their personal problems instead of working on the paperwork or why they are calling them about the same conversations on two separate months. It was Janice that I felt with and her manager Andrea. Andrea said she would be taking over and would call with updates on Thursdays, missed calling me on a Thursday only to email me at the end of day. Then proceeded to avoid my calls twice before I canceled the order only to have Medicade call me a day later to make sure I canceled the order. Again I have never dealt with such incompetent individuals and someone should take this seriously.

Finally got called to pick up just the wheelchair with out the power assist and sadly the wheelchair was the wrong color, had lots of unwanted add ons and it was damaged and dented in transit to Norco. A new $16,000 wheelchair! I left that wheelchair and headache of a company behind and called the folks at MSHH Donor Closet. They actually answered the phone and answered my questions. The next weekend I went to visit them. I didn't expect to actually find what I needed. I was warmly greeted immediately. Three different volunteers offered to help me. In 15 minutes flat I had a suitable manual wheelchair in a nice brand for only $85.00. A great volunteer who is a physical therapist named Scott even fitted me and adjusted the brakes on my second hand but new to me wheelchair. I took my new wheels and with my husband acting as my power assist I went to the farmers market in Edmonds and to a Mall. Something I could not do all in the same day if I was walking. I have to start the process of getting a wheelchair with a power assist over with a different durable medical equipment supplier but at least now I have a wheelchair to tide me over. Thank you very much MSHH Donor Closet :)
