I had a 512GB sd card that went bad a few days ago and I was frantically searching for places to assist in this recovery. I sent out a yelp project request and Wayne was one of the few people that was willing to take on the request. Mind you I asked on a weekend and Wayne said to bring it on in for an evaluation. WITHIN MINUTES, saw it was recoverable and so the rest is history. Wayne and his team made sure I knew what was going on through reports and multiple phone calls. I paid additional for rush but STILL ALL WORTH EVERY CENT. Exceeded the standards for sure. Best part is not only the level of service and hospitality, but my data has been saved. Long story short, I dropped my laptop awhile back that caused minor damage where I was able to just…read morepop the pieces back together. Fast forward to about a month ago where I closed my laptop lid and CRACK - something happens where basically the bezel, back over, and hinge gets damaged to the point where it looks like I ripped it apart when I open my laptop back up. Tried to fix it and somehow made it worse by messing up the screen and man, I've done my fair share of taking computers apart before but I wasn't going to mess with my laptop after this series of unfortunate events. I reached out to a couple of repair guys for a quote and Eric gave me the best one AND the hope that my laptop could be saved (I had a couple others tell me it wasn't worth the fix; mind you, my computer itself worked fine still - I just had to plug in an external monitor to get anything productive done). He was timely with messages, and even let me know that some parts were missing for repair and ordered it for me. His quote was reasonable in comparison to the cost of a brand new laptop and now that I've had it back for a couple weeks; I can honestly say it feels brand new. After, I was updated with the progress. After it was completed, I could not get it to read on my Mac. Wayne was able to confirm there was a bug within the os . He without hesitation, took back the hard drive and re formatted it. He also spent almost an hour over the phone to try and diagnose the problem. Customer service was above and beyond. Another note to add is that though I belong to the newer generation, my tech experience is very little . He was never condescending. Btech refused to RMA the first one claiming myGMRS was not an authirized reseller. MyGMRS sent me a prepaid RMA label. 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund. I then bought and paid for a second radio which was also defective. Btech sent me an RMA but wanted me to pay for shipping and then wait until they repaired the radio and sent it back to me, which would have left me with a repaired radio. Calling Btech on the phone is useless, all I got was a recording telling me to email them. MyGMRS then sent me a second RMA with prepaid label.
