I received 2 of their GMRS50V2 radios 2 weeks apart from myGMRS. Both were defective. One would not power up after one day, the second one put out 6 watts instead of anything close to 50. Btech refused to RMA the first one claiming myGMRS was not an authirized reseller. MyGMRS sent me a prepaid RMA label. 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund. I then bought and paid for a second radio which was also defective. Btech sent me an RMA but wanted me to pay for shipping and then wait until they repaired the radio and sent it back to me, which would have left me with a repaired radio. I am changing my starsto 1 because the owner replied to me on Google extremely rude saying he should have lied to me and charged me fullprice and that's something customers DESERVE TO KNOW. Despite what the owner says, this isn't emotional this is warning of *suspicious activity by them trying to refuse to tell me what they did on my phone* also since he claimed he should have lied to me and charged full price. What a terrible thing to say toany customer to show your business practices. And for simplicity I stayed it was my phone when it was my fiances, but we both pay for it so there's that semantic for you. I am giving 3 stars. They lost 2 stars because of suspicious behavior with my phone. we took our iPhone in for repair for what we thought was a damaged charger port. They handled it in a very quick manner, about an hour. When we came to pick it up, the charge was cheaper than we initially thought. Yay! But... When we asked why, he said it wasn't the charging port it was "something else". We asked what and him and another employee said "we can't tell you that". Um? Weird, my fiancee was going to drop it and leave but considering that phone has our bank account information and ICE information, email accounts, address book, and more private information about it I wasn't feeling right with this answer and pushed for further explanations. They still said it was "job procedures that they can't tell us"?? That makes me very suspicious. I ask how can we make sure we don't damage it again if we don't know what happened? Finally they told us it was a similar issue to what we thought and dirt. So this tells me you're either 1) not wanting your clients to know how to properly maintain their phone so they will keep coming to you, which is good business practice but terrible karma and I will never refer anyone to this business again. Or 2) you have done something to my phone or have some other reason to be suspicious. I don't know if I will ever go back of refer anyone here. They left me feeling very suspicious. read more

This place is great! My Iphone 6s Plus received some salt water damage while doing some cave exploring at Sunset Cliffs. The screen was completely dead and the Apple store told me there was nothing they could do and that it would cost $350 minimum to fix or replace the phone. B Tech repair is a tiny shop hidden in a corner of a strip of shops along Main Avenue in Fallbrook. The young man working in that shop is Bayar. I have come to recognize him as the most honest, reliable, capable and accommodating person to ever deal with the problems of our aging computers. We have presented him with some very unusual problems related to the coordination between my computer and my wife's and he found where the problems originated and sorted them out. He has come to our home after hours to solve a problem or two and asks very fair payment for that service.
