Depending on what you need he can be a bit more expensive than a normal shop but he does come to you and the convenience is worth the price. My experience working with Mike has been the best experience I've had with any auto repair. He is very reasonably priced and does not scam or try to make huge profits like most other auto repair shops and servers, his prices are fair and truly reflect the great work he has done. I needed help with my 03 mustang and I initially had thought I just needed a new alternator, Mike came out the same day I called and had already brought a new alternator with him, he also brought a new battery because I had mentioned my battery was old. He did not expect for me to pay for these things just because he brought them, he did it as a kind gesture just in case I decided I wanted to buy them to save both money and time. In the end mike fixed more than just my alternator and battery but fixed minor mistakes that careless mechanics had made in the past, he was very careful with his work and knew exactly what he was doing. I would ask him many questions and he was very eager to answer them all on his process and even offered me some great advice to keep my car in great shape. Let me start by saying im not real good with all this yelping and stuff Mike just left my house after completing a fuel sending unit change out on my duramax that i contacted him about today. It started through text and when i told him what i had he instantly made sure i had checkes and verified the cheaper possible issues had been eliminated. (Nobody does that nowadays) When it was clear what i needed he quoted me a price and said he cpuld knock it out for me today. Told him i was on my way home and he said contact me when your home.amd drive safe. (I can appreciate a person saying such a kind sentient when its so rare today). Fast forward he gets here with a smile and firm hand shake. He then triple checks to make sure that no damage can be done to my truck when he begins work . He then uses a smart man's method that only a true professional would use to get access to the tank. All the while checking everything else on the truck to make sure its safe. Mike noticed a couple of things i.e. like my spare tire being loose and my exhaust clearance and took care of it "since hes right here". He gets the job done quick and efficiently and tells me it didn't take long and went smooth and his flat rate was wrong. Charged me 50% less. Ive never had someone do that!!!!! I will use Mike for every time i need work or when I got a tech question. He cares about his customers and it shows. I have never been so happy with a person and their work. Im gonna tell every person i know about this experience and recommend him to anyone i know. I am going to write an update about my review. Mike has twice contacted me explaining the situation and apologizing. I want to make something real clear with my review... I do not use his services. I can not tell you if they are good or bad. All I can tell you is that I received a phone call a week after placing an inquiry for an estimate. That one phone conversation left me a little annoyed... IMO understandably. Mike keeps saying he is a one man operation. Not really sure how this is my problem. Going to upgrade my review to 3 stars from 2 because he seem genuinely sorry about how he came across to me and the lateness of his return phone call. I will not remove my review because that is just not what I do. What I have written is an accurate take on what happened. IMO pointing out where a business fails and if that business is genuinely trying to do better keeping quite doesn't help anyone to improve. read more
