Michael, the owner attended to me personally and supervised the retrofitting of the AC system on my 41-year old Nissan 300zx from the discontinued R12 refrigerant to the current standard R134a refrigerant. Many shops did not want to work on my car because of how old it is but Michael did. I can now enjoy driving my classic car comfortably in this summer heat thanks to Michael and his team. read more

This gentleman came out to my house and he helped us with the air conditioning and the Freon in our car. He was very polite and he treated us with respect. A person should be treated. He made sure we understood what he was doing, and he came with a smile and gave us, the proper usage of everything so I give them five stars because he did a great job. read more

Michael and Adzel helped me out big. I reached out today and I was lucky because I live in the area and they were available. They were at my house within 15 minutes of my call. Being a mobile service was helpful because it allowed me to complete other things at home while watching my kids. Anyway, I had purchased a used mini van and the previous owner told me the AC had gone out a few weeks back. Michael and Adzel diagnosed the problem and repaired it. They communicated to me that based on the age of the van and the system that at some point I may need to rebuild it. The estimate was more than fair and I'm already working with them on a project car that also has AC trouble. It's awesome that their pricing is straightforward and posted on their website. I love that they are a small business and so accommodating. read more

I can't recommend Michael and Cool Auto AC enough. He actually had to come to my house 3 separate times in an effort to fix and trouble shoot my AC issue. In the end, due to the kind of car I have, he referred me to another place to get the work needed done. However he was able to fix other issues related to the larger problem of a failing compressor. Because he wasn't able to fix everything there on the spot, did not charge me for his final visit. Even though he did more diagnostic work and replaced a failed part. Beyond this integrity, Michael is a nice guy- who's mission is clear. He wants to help people. I'm thankful for all of his attention and for going above and beyond. read more

My car was not blowing cold air at all, called Michael and set up an appointment for a recharge the same day. He vacuumed the system, checked for leaks and refilled the system in less than 30 minutes. Save the time and headaches going to other so called "AC shops". Do it right the first time and set up your appointment with Michael. Definitely knows what he's doing! read more

What an amazingly personalized experience. My VW Passat was down and out with an intermittent A/C system. I called Michael and he came out to troubleshoot the discrepancy the very next day. He narrowed down the issues, sourced and ordered parts--price matching any local dealers--removed and replaced the Compressor and Condenser in my garage with a keen eye for detail as to put everything back together leaving it better than it was initially. All this to say that his mechanical aptitude is far beyond your normal everyday auto mechanic and his customer service is an absolutely dying expectation! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COOL AUTO AC SERVICE. Michael will not disappoint! read more

This is a father / son business. The father talks / texts and sends the son out. The son came and said I needed Freon , filled it and said to call if things weren't working right. I paid $155 just for him to come and look. I was charged $280 total. About 5 months later, the AC was blowing warm again. The car was driven less than 1000 miles from the time it was "fixed". I called the dad and he wanted to charge me another $155 to come and "diagnose" it again. He said the Freon must have leaked out and that it was not his fault. I questioned why I had to pay for another diagnosis after they never found the issue, they just added Freon long enough for them to collect my money and leave with a temporary bandaid. I was calm and polite when talking to the dad. He had absolutely no solution other than taking another $155 from me to come out. Then he got frustrated and said "I'm trying to work with you". I asked what he was doing to help me as he offered absolutely no solution , reduced rate, etc. The conversation ended when he hung up on me. Don't give these CROOKS your money. Who hangs up on people that give them money after no provocation? read more

Mike thank you so much for helping me with my leaking A/C unit on my 2010 tacoma! I'm so grateful to you for your prompt response, expertise, professionalism, and extremely fair price. Also, thank you for not charging me an arm and a leg like the dealerships would have!! It's so refreshing there are still honest, hardworking individuals out there that truly want to help people with repairs on their vehicles without leaving them bankrupt! God bless you and your family. May your business continue to grow and help the surrounding community!! read more
