So I decided to give Mike a try and the lack of communication let alone a reply back is HORRIBLE. After reading all the positive reviews it would have been nice to experience half the service these other customers got if the reviews are LEGIT. Kind of hard to believe but after a whole month I'm over it. So thought I'd give a little insight on how Mikes excellent service is a FALSE claim... I'd give ZERO STARS but for the facts I can't leave a review without adding a star review there you go. A STAR FOR MY TIME WRITING THIS REVIEW....

Are you able to take a look at my daughters Chevy Aveo air conditioner isn't blowing cold air and also when she pushes breaks car shakes?

Please call or text me I don't really use Yelp if the steering wheel is shaking you probably have warped rotors and the air conditioning I can definitely fix that for you too

Normally I trust only Porsche specialists to work on my 2015 911 GTS. However, I know Antonio, the…read moreowner, is a car enthusiast(Lotus owner) and his shop works on specialty cars, so I entrusted the 8 years major maintenance service to his shop. I liked that Antonio provided detailed estimates so I can agreed to the work to be done and be comfortable with the approximate cost. For this service my car was in the shop for 3 days, during which engine oil and filter were replaced, as were spark plugs, the drive belt, engine air filters (requiring removal of back bumper), and brake fluids. All work were completed professionally. I had authorized new brake pads and rotors for the rear, but the shop was honest in letting me know that the pads still had 6mm and the rotors were OK, so we deferred the work to save on unnecessary cost. The shop also provided extra service at no additional labor charge, such as testing the 12V battery, and repairing a broken windshield washer hose. My car has center lock wheels and to repack the center lock nut required a special paste which was very difficult to source. Antonio found a supply at a local Honda motorcycle shop and picked it up himself. My car had trouble passing smog as it is a weekend car and not driven enough for some of the engine monitors to register. Fortunately for me, the shop's computer has some Porsche functionalities and the shop was able to complete a drive cycle successfully allowing me to smog the car. Best of all, the service costs were reasonable and saved me thousands compared to service at a Porsche dealership.

So the customer service could definitely been better. The woman we both spoke to on the phone was not professional and had a know-it-all attitude. I get being slightly arrogant as a personality trait but WOW. That's something I cannot stand. But, we needed to get our car fixed so we put up with her attitude. Luckily the owner made sure to make sure we got optimal service and despite her actions, he took responsibility and didn't make a bad situation worse.

If TEN STARS were an option, Family Auto Center would earn every one of them…read more I initially brought my vehicle to Family Auto Center in Vacaville for a specialized installation that only certified mechanics can perform. Although it's a 45-minute drive from my home, it quickly became clear that the distance was irrelevant -- the quality of service was worth far more than the convenience of proximity. From the first interaction, the professionalism, transparency, and efficiency of Sean, Nicole, and their team stood out. The installation was completed flawlessly, pricing was fair and clearly explained, and my vehicle was serviced promptly without compromising attention to detail. What began as a one-time visit has turned into a long-term relationship. Family Auto Center is now the only place I will take my 2024 Ford Explorer -- whether for routine maintenance or more complex repairs. My husband's experience further confirmed what I already believed. He owns a 2007 Nissan Titan that he's deeply attached to and has been carefully researching where to invest in significant restoration work. He is not someone who makes quick decisions -- he studies reviews, checks BBB ratings, gathers multiple estimates, and asks thorough questions. Yet after meeting Sean, observing how the team interacted with customers, and hearing the clarity and depth with which repairs were explained, he didn't need any of that. As we left, he simply said, "That's the guy I want fixing my truck." That statement speaks volumes. What impressed us most wasn't just technical expertise -- it was integrity. In an industry where customers can sometimes feel uninformed or vulnerable, particularly women with limited mechanical knowledge, Sean and his team operate with refreshing honesty. There is no upselling, no inflated urgency, no vague explanations -- only straightforward communication and well-documented recommendations. I've had experiences with dealerships and quick oil-change chains that left me questioning both pricing and necessity of suggested repairs. At Family Auto Center, I feel informed, respected, and confident in every decision made regarding my vehicle. The name "Family Auto Center" is fitting. Not only is it family-owned and operated, but the culture reflects accountability, cooperation, and shared standards of excellence. You don't feel like a transaction -- you feel valued. It's rare to encounter a business that combines deep mechanical knowledge -- from vintage vehicles to today's complex computer-driven models -- with genuine warmth and ethical consistency. Even conversations with other customers in the waiting area reflect the same theme: long-term loyalty built on trust. I rarely take the time to write reviews. But when a business consistently demonstrates integrity, competence, and respect, it deserves recognition. Thank you, Sean and Nicole, for running your business with authenticity and expertise. You've earned not only our trust, but our continued loyalty.
