The parts guy, Wilson, is nice, however they were unwilling to locate a part for the boat because it is older. Basically, I was told I am on my own to try to get a part for the boat. I asked him what would happen if the boat was in there for service. Would they just keep it there for weeks, find the problem, then send you home without it being fixed because they were too lazy to get the part? As it turns out, this is a common part and still available. I was able to just research it online and find it, but it seems like as a dealer, they should just not throw you under the bus. I would not recommend this dealer to any MasterCraft owner. I have called MasterCraft in Vonore, TN to discuss this situation with them.

I felt this way about Mello so I wanted to share my experience in this review and hope others give them a chance and come away feeling the same way I did. I stumbled upon this place during my search for a used wake surf boat. They were listing a used Calabria boat that I went to go check out. We were greeted by the owner Sally and we got to talking about wake surf boats in general. She spent about 30-45 min with us talking about her history, wake surf boats and telling us about the Centurion boats that she sells. Since I had never owned a wake surf boat before she gave us some really good info and insight into what makes a good surf boat and why Centurion was one of the top manufacturers. We left knowing we had to do more research which I did. Fast forward a year later, I ended up getting a used centurion wake surf boat. My point is I would have never thought about a Centurion boat until speaking with Sally, and we really appreciated her time and knowledge on the subject. We certainly don't have new boat money but we never felt dismissed or judged or made to feel less important because we weren't there looking at new boats. We also never felt like Sally was pushing us to Centurion or a specific direction. She was certainly highlighting why she felt the Centurion boats were the best, but I did my own research and eventually came to the same conclusion. I felt like the Centurion boats were high quality builds and they were the ones that started the whole wake surf boat build. I just recently dropped off my boat to Mello Marine to have them service it and add some features to it. It's not the closest shop (2 hrs away) but it's the one I felt most comfortable with and trusted. I first spoke with Luke who was great and helpful on the phone and I have since been dealing with Ricky. Everyone I have encountered at Mello Marine has been great, helpful, courteous, and professional. I have been genuinely impressed and pleased in all my interactions with this family run operation. So far, I have had great experiences with this shop and I have no doubt it will continue. I like to say Sally brought us back to Mello. Ricky made sure we're staying with Mello. Not only did they screw up our…read morepaperwork with our bank by putting the incorrect VIN# of the boat trailer (twice) but most recently we took our new boat in for its 20 hour service, due bill and warranty items to get fixed. They had our boat for 1-1/2 months with absolutely zero communication from them and then lied about fixing our warranty issues. At this point I'm not even sure they completed the 20hr. Service that we paid for. Our warranty issues weren't minor, we lost all steering on our 24' pontoon boat out in the middle of the lake due to their original install being improper. Then had the audacity to lie and say they fixed it knowing full well they didn't and putting our family in danger once we launched in the water. I would never recommend anyone to do business with Auburn Outboard Marine.

We got a regular burger, the yeehaw burger, and truffle fries. The burgers were a little pricey but good quality and huge. We couldn't event finish them between our family of 4. They were cooked well and loved all the toppings on the yeehaw burger. We also got snowcones after and those were a great treat after being in the sun. Other than food, they rent out different stuff for the lake like giant floats. They're definitely a great addition to the lake!

The service center here does not pay attention to detail. I brought my boat in for a basic annual…read moreservice and they managed to mess that up. They for got to check the oil filter before installing causing all the oil to drain from the engine. This error was major considering we tried turning on the boat. When we checked the engine compartment we noticed all the oil at the bottom of the engine. You can see that the oil stick has no oil. Also, when we brought the boat back they did a mediocre job cleaning up the mess leaving oiled hand prints on the upholstery. We tried contacting the owner but no call back. Go buy your boat somewhere else considering you will need to service it here if you buy it here. Not even an apology or credit for their mistake. This experience was not pleasant from the start. They act as if they don't need your business. I never had this problem at their Stockton store. The unfortunate part is that the owner was made aware of this but no response. You decide if this is the service you want after spending big money on your boat.
