Been wanting to come here for so long and finally made it here! We went to the brick and mortar location, not the boat one in the water. I went in right when they opened to avoid the lines and food came out pretty quickly. There are only a couple tables inside to sit while you wait but it gets pretty crowded once there are a lot of people waiting for their orders. But they do have shaded seating out front, along with bathrooms! I didn't have high expectations but I was actually pretty impressed. The meals itself are a little pricey since it doesn't come with a side but you're allowed to do that when you're the only food option on the lake! The portions were actually really good though so I thought it was fair. The popcorn shrimp was enough for at least 2 people to share and I liked that you could get it with both cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. The yeehaw burger was cooked perfectly! I loved the pickled jalapeños and the amount of sauce they put. So satisfying!

This place exceeded our expectations, especially for a walk-up spot by the lake. It was our first time here, and we are already big fans. The portions are generous, the burgers are massive, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lake access is just awesome and really adds to the overall experience. We're stuffed!

We went to Folsom lake and this restaurant was located on the main beach. Curly fries, and sailor fries was a pretty small portion and probably only feeds one. The fries were pretty standard and taste good enough to the the kiddos.Tentacle fries came in a large box also $10 more and can easily be shared with three others. Tentacle fries were definitely worth the money to me because of the generous portion of pulled pork. The shaved ice was good with extra condense milk and thee portion was huge. Service was quick and friendly but I was charge an extra $1 for an ice cup.

They have a brick and mortar location at Granite Bay main beach. I haven't been here in a couple of years so I'm not sure if they're new here. I don't remember seeing them before. For $7 they give you the most massive snow cone. It was delicious but my only complaint is the ice was ground very coarsely so I felt like I was tasting more ice than flavor. I also purchased fried pickle spears which was awesome to try as most places I've been only offer pickle chips. The sauce that came with it was delicious. Sort of a spicy chipotle. There's a paddle board rental as well that I assume is part of their establishment, it's part of the same building at least. The coolest part is it appears they have a food boat on the water that you can paddle out to. Very creative and I wish there were more places like that. I haven't gotten to paddle out to it yet but I will on my next visit!

Recently stopped by the floatin' food boat and was surprised by how good it was! Hands down the best truffle fries I've experienced in my life. The fry on them is insane 10/10 must try. The burger was fantastic as well loaded up with onion rings, bacon, jalapeño, and a good amount of sauce. We pulled up to the boat to order and waited about 10 min before we got called over to come grab our food and there were several boats in front of us so pretty quick service as well. Being on the lake is the best place to eat and they might be adding some tables to the shore later this summer! My only complaint is that the food boat is only open 2 days a week!! If you're out on the lake on the weekend stop here - it will be anchored at the north side of the main basin in between the forks all summer!

**Anchored Eats is Fire!!!** This place never disappoints. I've been back 4 times, and every single visit has been better than the last. The burgers and hot dogs here blow every other restaurant out of the water--no comparison. The flavors are on point, the quality is top-notch, and the customer service is amazing. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always makes you feel welcome. Plus, the food comes out quick, so you can enjoy that mouthwatering goodness without the wait. Do yourself a favor and get to Anchored Eats ASAP--you won't regret it!

Only tried their fries so far which was very yummy and reasonable priced. Rented paddleboard which was only $18. Very friendly people working here. Glad to see this new shop here!

Wow. Good food. I'm so excited this place exists. The burger was gloriously grilled and the buns were deliciously buttered. Heaven on a bun.

Parking: $10 if you don't rent their equipment, with plenty of spaces in the complex. Otherwise, you can park for "free" at the State Park area if you have the Golden Poppy Annual Pass ($125). The park also has plenty of picnic tables and a small beach area for sunbathing. Restrooms: Women's (5 stalls), Men's (5 stalls), plus 2 unisex restrooms. There are plenty of rental options, including single/tandem kayaks, SUP boards, and canoes. If you are in a group, all renters must sign in at the same time because the rental period starts once you sign in. They also have CREW and CANOE clubs! All rentals must be returned by 8 PM or you may be fined. No cycling or weight training on the premises, but there is a basketball court on the side. All life jackets, equipment, and docks were clean and in good condition. The payment line moves quickly. If possible, print the waiver at home to save time. You also need to create an account on their website before they can place your order; otherwise, you'll need to create one on the spot when purchasing tickets. After purchasing, you leave your driver's license and car key with them. There is a 15-minute courtesy buffer deducted from your total rental time for walking to the dock, restroom breaks, setup, etc. Service: friendly and efficient. If you change your mind: for example, from a SUP board to a kayak: they simply call the front desk and let you switch at the dock. Lake Natoma is perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding because it starts wide and gradually narrows. The current is almost nonexistent until around 4 PM. It's about 2 miles to the small island near Willow Creek Recreation Area, which makes a perfect scenic picnic spot.

He shot at our kids on 2 occasions. Once because he thought a "dead player" was talking to his teammate. Second because he thought one of our players was shooting in his direction. He has a high powered custom gun. He did not give warnings. He was on a power trip. Then he flipped out after letting one of the kids borrow his magazine. We escalated this to the manager, Ryan. He watched the video and confirmed that his referee did indeed shoot one of the 12 year old boys at the party. But did not apologize and only said that it's within their rules. I understand that referees have tough jobs and need to enforce rules. But when it's a private birthday party for 12 and 13 year old kids, and you don't give them any warnings, shooting them with a high powered gun is unacceptable. Edit - upper management apologized. It's not their policy to shoot players. They are working to get the issue fixed. I appreciate their action to make things better for future players.

Well two days later, no phone call or notification the account was charged an additional $309.25. Questioning it we called and were given the run around about trailer rental and discounts. This doesn't sit well with me, after all we agreed on a price for the week and paid in full. We did not authorize the additional charge because we were unaware of it. They just decided let's make them pay a little more without even a phone call. Here we are today, we returned the equipment and were provided a receipt. There was a break down on the receipt with all the equipment rented totaling $949.62 (the agreed upon amount. Then there was a flat charge for the $309.25, yep you guessed it, no break down, nothing about trailer discounts or equipment rented, no explanation at all just a charge. With some argument they refunded part of the charge (not all) because they said the manager was out sick. Long story short, I do not recommend Rental Guys, they will just charge you more without a written break down or real explanation of why. Terrible way to do business.
