I spoke with Leo on the phone and was pleasantly surprised by his friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge. I dropped off my car and not long after, received a call with a detailed plan of action and a quote--right in line with what I expected after speaking with Leo. When I came to pick up the car, the staff even stayed late to make sure my alignment was perfect. Great service all around. I even scheduled some future maintenance while I was there. They've definitely earned my business!

Said I needed a cabin air filter.... Which was replaced two weeks earlier. How did you check the cabin and air filter if you had the car up on a lift? You said I needed new front brakes - they're at 5mm not 3mm. How can you measure the brakes if you didn't take the tires off??? They said I needed a laundry list and I walked out and said no thanks.

They had me wait until ALL the cars in the other lanes were done before they got to me. Four other cars that arrived after I did were completed before I was seen. Fair pricing, fast turnaround, and genuinely trustworthy service. That combination is rare and hard to find. If you live in Hudson or anywhere nearby, look no further. From what I've been told he got a promotion (well deserved). The new manager is crook. I had my oil changed and they gave me a long list of things that needed to be done. Not super unusual for my car. When I asked them to break it down like the previous manager, the 2 most "important" issues came out to 3,000$. That immediately raised flags for me. I've had 2 other shops check my car since then. Neither of those 2 "important" issues came up as problems. The issues that did come up at both shops were consistent with eachother and actual safety concerns. The new manager is crook whos trying to squeeze money out of people and is overlooking real safety concerns in the name of getting paid more. I was forced to call roadside assistance and have my car towed to the local Infiniti dealer. At the dealership, they clearly identified the culprit - the plug for the oil pan had not been tightened, fell out into the shield below, and all the oil had drained out of the car. So far, the dealer tells me there is no damage to my engine - we will see about that. I just got it back this evening. I was shocked to read the reviews for this location after the fact. I was (emphasizing **WAS**) a loyal customer for 18 years of this Jiffy Lube location. I will NEVER return. The other reviews of this location on this site and the BBB's rating of this location are atrocious (F rating due to customer complaints). Something changed recently, because it never was this way before. I started to notice a strange change to the service, and now that I'm reading these reviews, my senses noticed that this started happening around the start of the other complaints - not sure why? Maybe a new owner or management change, but I have definitely experienced the claims of the other reviewers - where check out managers push services on me that are not needed, only to back down on their forceful sales tactics when they realize that I'm not buying their story. The newest one - your car 'definitely' needs synthetic oil. Really? Let's pull out the manual and see what they recommend... nope, no synthetic. Thanks. Coolant flush? Transmission flush? No and no. Stay away from this location, and perhaps others as well. P.S. - strange anomaly here - the 2 favorable reviews on this Jiffy Lube location in Marlboro MA, come from two people who live in California - relatives/friends of the owner? Strange indeed.

The managers at this location seem to change to frequently and depending on the manager or even the supervisor that is on shift at the time your service can be dramatically altered. They have never accepted the yelp coupons that you get from checking in - they always have some sort of excuse on why they can't accept them and put in a different coupon that doesn't save you the same amount of money. The last time I came in here - I wasn't planning to but I was overdue for an oil change and going on a long distance trip the next day. They took me in right away and I said I just wanted the plain regular oil change. When it was all said and done the guy came out and said the price - which was the price for special oil - no the one I asked for... I got this whole speech from him and after arguing for 20 minutes I gave up told him I would never be back and left. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I think for newer cars just take the time and go to the dealer... the price is almost better than jiffy lube!
