Stopped by to get an inspection and Fernando assisted me upon arriving. Fernando along with the other staffof the staff were very sweet and helpful. They've got me in and out for a state inspection in about 15 minutes. I chose this place based on the proximity to where I live and the overwhelming amount of positive reviews on Yelp! If you are getting maintenance done there are snacks and drinks for purchase while you wait. I will definitely be returning! read more

Dishonest! The manager tried to sell me a $400+ brand new tire when I came in with a flat. He said it was shredded and there was no way to patch or fix it. I sensed something was off so I had them put the spare on and took it to a tire shop I trusted. What do you know the place I trusted pulled out the piece of metal causing the flat, patched my tire, swapped out the spare, and even took the initiate to put air in my other tires for $20. Mobil charged me more than that just to put the spare on! It's really disturbing that people will try to take advantage of you like this and I will never go here again, even if it's convenient. read more

I had a tire blowout near 610 and Woodway and remembered this gas station from the late 90s when I lived in the area. I was missing tools in my flat tire kit so I needed help changing the tire. Luckily, as I remembered, this was a a full service station.I was somehow able to just make it to the gas station and able to get the tire changed. Great customer service to someone in distress! Who ever thought I'd be raving about a gas station? But this one is so worth it...best service ever! I take my car here for oil changes and emission inspections. They are usually packed and I have to wait, but the guys are so extremely nice that I don't even mind. Sometimes I get paranoid that something is wrong with my car (funny noise, accelerating strangely) so I bring it in for them to have a look - no charge! 5 stars for Woodway Mobil. We only used them for oil changes until recently when my late model BMW failed its inspection and we wanted to get a quote. I asked my husband to take it by Mobil because I always see luxury import cars being serviced. Figured they must know what they're doing. Not only were they the best price but Mike, the manager, saved us $200 by telling us he could do all the work in one visit. One mechanical problem had turned into 3 and we didn't think we had the money to cover the entire job. I can't tell you what a relief it was to drive to work today with no scary carburetor rumble and oil leak killing the engine. If you have a BMW, I can vouch for Woodway Mobil. Thanks Mike. I just brought tires over there to be dismounted from their rims. I got back to my office and noticed that one of the sensors was broken and missing from the wheel. I called them and was told the technician said it was broken off before the dismounting. I disagree since I would have heard a sensor bouncing around when putting them in and out of my truck when I brought them to their station. Poor customer service and typical of most shops that deny any wrongdoing on their part. read more

Conducted a quick diagnosis and repair of my radiator hoses. Also avoided up-selling a complete radiator replacement unlike what another mechanic had attempted. The service is great. I only have two critiques: one of the hose clamps wasn't installed tightly, so I had to return my car for that to be corrected. The other critique is that the price is a bit on the higher side, but the fact that this is an honest repair shop makes it worthwhile. read more

Mike is rude. You can tell people their brake lights are out without making them feel stupid or having your other customers laugh at them. I've been going here for so long now (since around 2001) that I don't remember how I heard about that but I'm sure it was a referral. I had moved here after college and was terrified to have to find a new mechanic because so many are dishonest. Mike and his team here are very reliable and trustworthy. We joke that Mike is my Dad away from home because he takes care of me as though we were family. When Mike was out for a while, the rest of the team was just as helpful and honest. For many years I had used Briargrove Texaco, when my car was damaged twice because of the negligence of the people working there I decided to look for a new gas station and mechanic. Woodway mobil is amazing! they really do know how to take care of their customers, they are very careful with your cars no matter what kind of car you drive. They pay attention to detail and before giving you the car back they make sure it is working properly and that they did not leave it dirty. I have been coming to this gas station for many years with positive experiences. To give you an example, I recently stopped by and requested assistance with my Lexus 350. I had valet parked the week before and I had just noticed that my car no longer signaled me when I was close to hitting a pole when parking. I was sure that the valet had unintentionally disengaged this program. I explained this issue to the attendant who proceeded to checked everything inside my car. He then checked the exterior where he showed me that the back light was not properly in its socket. It had been pushed inward affecting the sensors. I asked him if he could push the light fixture back in place. Sure enough, he went under the car and successfully reactivated the sensors. He informed that there was no charge. Needless to say, I gave him a very generous gratuity. Any other place would have charged me a bundle for a repair. read more
