This particular Mobil is infamous for outrageous prices compared to the rest of the gas stations in Glendale. Now that they've changed ownership, I'm happy to report that the prices are more reasonable. However, the pumps are SLOW. I waited for about 15-20 minutes filling up. Not only are the prices higher than anywhere else, but the guy that runs the place is VERY unprofessional to say the least. After we pumped their overpriced fuel, I went in to ask for the air to be turned on for our tires. He declined turning on the air pump which is a direct violation of California state law. Per Section 13651 of the California Business and Professions Code " CALIFORNIA LAW REQUIRES THIS STATION TO PROVIDE FREE AIR AND WATER FOR AUTOMOTIVE PURPOSES TO ITS CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASE MOTOR VEHICLE FUEL." He told me I have to pay for it! I educated him about the laws in California and he said "oh yeah? Which pump? Show me your credit card!" What?! Excuse me? No thanks. I went down to the gas station down the street (which was significantly cheaper!!) and asked the lady there who turned it on with no fuss and a smile on her face!! She didn't even have to since I didn't purchase fuel from them! Wow. I'll never get close to this gas station again. I am a long time customer here, I live up the street from the station. Filled gas today, accidentally drove away for about 5 feet with the pump in the tank, the fail safe joint separated and the hose was on the ground. The cashier came out and told me to pay for the repair of the pump in cash. Then threatened me to call the police, so I called the police myself, the cashier went inside at that point and I drove away, I got a call half an hour later from a police officer asking me to come back, which I did, they took my insurance info and gave it to them. What a waste of a day, the guy was being a a** to me, I had the same thing happen to me at different stations and nobody called the police or asked me for the money. That pump has a fail safe and can be mounted on right away, the guy even asked the police officers if I wanted to pay cash to close the matter. And after all that he claimed that owner of the station is out of the country. What a crappy guy and poor customer service. They lost me as a customer because of a couple of bucks the guy tried to pull out of me. Wasted my day. read more

I was really surprised to see that this place has negative reviews. I've been coming here for a little over 4 years. I know all the staff (including the owners) and I have to say that out of all the gas stations that I have ever gone to, this one is top notch. Their restroom is super clean (rare for a freakin gas station!), they have one of the biggest and cleanest mini mart's, staff is very friendly, and they make me feel really welcome. Yes, Mobil is more expensive than United down the street, but it's a premium brand. It's just like going to the store and buying something of expensive quality vs something cheap - you def. get what you pay for. I'd rather pay more for premium fuel while enjoying the additional amenities that I listed above, which you can't find at the other peeps down the street. Thanks for always taking care of me, Mobil. I've stopped doing business with this particular Mobile and encouraged all my friends in the Glendale neighborhood to as well. Here's why: 1. It's consistently .20-.30 higher than the 76 and United Oil which are seconds away 2. One time I purchased lotto tickets and accidentally told the clerk I was using a debit card when it was a credit card. He proceeded to call me a crook and would not give me the lotto tickets or a refund, instead he insisted that I pick out $20 worth of stuff in the store. He also yelled at my wife telling her to shut up. One of the more bizarre and terrifying gas station experiences ever. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

My boyfriend and I came here this evening to just grab some beer after dinner. We walked from our apartment down the street and came in completely normal. After my boyfriend pulled out his card to pay, the cashier started yelling at us saying he wouldn't sell us the beer because my boyfriend reeked of alcohol. I would label it the worst, but the crooks that run the place on Cima Road when you are heading to Vegas couldn't possibly ever be upstaged. Now on to the crooks at the Mobile station. The man in the small shop within the Gas station helped me yesterday. My vehicle was loosing a cover underneath and was on its last bolt. I heard the drag on the freeway and ended up stopping here. I told him my engine was fine, just this thing dragging underneath. So he offered to remove it for a small fee. This place is the worst! Daniel, the tough gas station clerk, refused to turn on the air for my girlfriend and I when we pulled in to get gas. I told him we were getting gas but that we needed to put air in the tire first as we were nearly flat and wanted to avoid damage to the wheels. Not only is the gas here way over priced when compared to nearly any other gas station in Los Angeles, but they employ punks who think they have a little power behind that counter.
