Just don't use this station. Tried to pay with cash. They don't accept a $50 bill. Won't use my credit card or debit card here as my gf's debit card was stolen from one of their pumps. This place always has skimmers attached to their pumps. Just avoid at all costs. They don't take cash and no one has the time to deal with your credit / debit card info being stolen. Besides it's arco gas. Not like you'll get good gas mileage from the added water in the formula. Apparently too stupid to know what a $50 bill looks like. You just can't fix stupid. read more

This ARCO is fine. The flow lines aren't very defined and it can be hard to get in and out but it's the least expensive gas you'll find around this area of Glendale. I don't feel like it lasts me as long in my car but it's good to fill up and not spend an arm and a leg sometimes. I also like that their window washing stuff always seems to be full. read more

(Filled-up 01/30/15 F @ 9:00am): Usually the cheapest non-member gas around, but I rarely used them since they didn't accept credit cards! My Toaster was running on fumes (her gas guage light was giving me the stink-eye, too) as I coasted her into this Arco & AM/PM located across the street from a KFC, "my" Smart & Final and one of "my" post offices in order to use a gift card I received as a Christmas present. The practicality of a gift card was the only way I ever filled-up at any Arco gas station or someone paid for me due to the lack of credit card acceptance and my lack of carrying cash or a debit card. Let's talk gas!: 87 Regular Gas ($25.00) - Ironic how gas prices have tanked now that I no longer had a 35-mile commuted to work! After 10.97 gallons of gas at $2.27/gallon, my ride was ready to go. Fuel quality seemed fine. On this sprinkling morning there was no need to squeegee the windows, so I gassed and went. Attire - Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, this Arco & AM/PM in Glendale served its purpose and was perfectly located close to a few regular spots I'd hit up. Although the prices were cheap, I wouldn't say they were the cheapest because of its location...location...location, so traffic could be snarled at times depending on the time of day. The facilities were adequate, well-lit, and open late. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (total paid experience was around $25.00; no tip required). Went to this station at 9:30 on a Saturday and the worker had shut off all the pumps but one... you had to go up to the door and ask for them to turn your pump on and pay there rather than at the pump. Saw about 2-3 other people just leave without filling up. Really annoying for a Saturday night. read more

This gas station is very messy and needs a lot of attention. I mean they dont even have the bare minimum for a gas station. At least they do have gas hopefully that's not to much to ask of a gas station. Is it to much to ask for the window washer fluid has little bit soap in it. It is only filled with water. Also make sure to have paper towel stocked up for you customers. At least your gas is still ok, prices little bit high but I guess. But of you are going to charge these prices at least make sure the bare minimum is available for customers. read more

Truths: Always packed, and you do have to hustle your way into a spot. Theres a fee, $.45 if you use a debit or credit card. You can either go inside or use a machine between the pumps and tell it how much money youd like to use to fill your tank. Uber Truths: Some pumps have hoses that are 12 feet long and can reach over to the other side of your car. You wont have to maneuver your way around or cars or have to try your best at a 3 point turn in a tight space. Their prices are at the very least 10 cents lower than its competitors. read more

If you're heading to a freeway it's a little bit less convenient than the other stations that perch themselves right at the entrance of the 2 and the 134, but you'll save a decent amount of money if you're filling your tank. read more

Beware! I've gone to this station for years, but no more. I went to this Arco to fill up, and went inside and gave the clerk $40. When I went back to the pump, I lifted the nozzle off the cradle, and before I put the nozzle into my car, the numbers on the display started ticking away, as if I was pumping gas. It only went up to 28 cents, but that was odd, because I didn't pump any gas yet. I stuck the nozzle into my car, but I was unable to pump gas. I jiggled it to repressurize it several times, pulled it out, and stuck it back in several times. No luck. I then went back inside to tell the clerk the pump wasn't pumping. He rudely explained to me that I needed to pull out the nozzle, and stick it back in. I told him I had already done that. He then told me the same thing again. I told him again I had done that. He then sighed, and stepped outside to see what he could do to fix the problem. After doing the same things I had already done, he was unable to get the pump to work. He then told me to use the pump behind me, which I did, and filled my tank. When I went back inside to get the change from my $40, he gave me my change less the 28 cents. WHAT? I told him I didn't get that gas, and that the pump started counting before I put the nozzle into my car. He said no, I had to pay for the 28 cents of gas. I said NO. It wasn't the amount, it was the principal of the matter, and how the clerk handled the situation that bothered me. He also treated me like I was an idiot because I couldn't get his broken pump to work, then he tried to charge me for gas I didn't get. In the end, he gave me my 28 cents back, but with lots of attitude. This wasn't my first bad experience with rude clerks at this station who just grunt when you give them your money, and don't say thank you at the end of the transaction. There are other stations in the area that I will use. The prices at this station are usually pretty good, but I'd rather go to another Arco or pay a bit more not to have to deal with the rude and condescending behavior of the clerks at this station. read more

I have been getting my gas here for years and I really have no gripe with the gas or the station, but my gripe today is during covid. IF YOU WANT YOUR CUSTOMERS to NOT have to go inside for a receipt KEEP YOUR PUMPS UP TO SPEED WITH PAPER RECEIPTS. The guy today gave me flak for holding a cloth over my mouth to run in and get a receipt that I had wanted to spit out of the pump. I shouldn't have had to do that. Go inside to get the receipt I requested I wanted from the pump. There's my gripe. Fix it. Not just during covid but every day check your paper receipts or when you find out one pump is OUT of paper by a customer coming in TO GET ONE.....load it back in to the pump! I stopped by to cash 3 scratchers; 1) $3, 2) $5, and the one that mysteriously vanished from my hands to his, of $10. I clearly counted the scratchers and checked their value before walking in. Great place for gas. That's why it's always busy. To give a low review for a place being to busy is kind of dumb. It's like giving a club a bad review because you can't get in. The main purpose of a gas station is to fill you car up. The only reason to give this place below a 3 star is if they fail to provide you with that service. DO NOT USE THIS GAS STATION!!! I used my debit card to buy gas here on 3/30/16 and the very next day 3/31/16 three fraudulent charges showed up on my account. I have not lost my card nor given anyone permission to use it. The fraudulent charges are $130, $130, and $84 and they posted to my account on 3/31/16. OH MY! I can't believe what just happened to me at this gas station. The man whom I assume runs this franchise came out to me after I had just popped my hood to check my oil and told me I wasn't allowed to "do that here". He said "What are you doing? Your gas is done!" I had been filling up my tank and it had JUST finished when he basically kicked me out of his station. There were absolutely NO CARS waiting, and one entire island was COMPLETELY empty! He told me I couldn't hold up the line!? I asked "what line!?" And then I told him that I fill my tank here every week and informed him that he just lost a customer and he said "You should go to 76"!!! This was at 1pm on a weekday with only 2 other cars getting gas. So he lost a customer in an effort to keep the space free for the next POTENTIAL customer! Very strange approach, very bad business, and he really treated me like a second class citizen. Maybe it's because I was driving an older car? Maybe he doesn't like women?? He even said something about needing to keep the place clean!!?? It's a GAS station! If you can't check your oil at a gas station, why do they sell oil and transmission fluid and wiper fluid etc? MAYBE I'd understand if it was rush hour and there WAS a lineup. But even if that were the case, putting a quart of oil in your car takes about 2 minutes. Someday I'll drive in with a luxury vehicle and see if I'm treated any differently. Or I'll see if my husband can get away with checking the oil in the middle of a quiet weekday.
