Worst Car Wash don't come here save your money
Allen K.

This gas station is probably the worst gas station in Glendale from pricing on gas to the Car Wash that they have. I don't know what's worse. I only come here when I'm super desperate and I really don't wanna ever come here again. Don't even pay for the more expensive Car Wash if you really want one just get the nine dollars you're gonna have to sit there and wipe it anyway yourself once it's done all that extra stuff is all a lie it squirts a little water and charges you three dollars extra save your three dollars. You're gonna have wet spots all over your car so you're gonna have to re-wipe the whole entire car with a wet towel.

One of the most convenient gas stations in Glendale right by the freeway and its easy To get in & out. The isles are spacious & the floor is clean.

This review is specific to the car wash. The machine that takes cash/credit cards has not been taking credit for months. Now I'm in line and it's stopped taking cash, so both cars in front of me have had to go inside to purchase a car wash. This thing is already epically slow and now it takes on average a good 20+ minutes between the line and the actual wash to go through what is supposed to be a quick, convenient option. Not impressed.

This is the top of my car after the car wash. My car too dirty?

It was crowded, very crowded, but everything went smoothly and I came out with a full tank and the cleanest car for over a year. Thanks

Whatever you do, don't come for a car wash on a Saturday afternoon! Jam packed. Otherwise it's a nice gas station. Nice area.

this place is pretty hit or miss -- it's okay when the car wash is working but it's not worth it when it's not functioning.

(Filled-up 09/01/25 MO @ 12:30pm): These days, everyone is getting shelled by the price of gas!…read more Glendale's Pacific Ave. Shell gas station location was conveniently located on the 134 eastbound freeway offramp exit. Usually, I tried to fill up at Costco because they had the least-expensive gas around; however, circumstances led me here. The company was founded in 1833 by Marcus Samuel when he decided to expand his London antique business to try and sell oriental seashells as well, due to their popularity in interior design at the time, that ultimately laid the foundation of an import-export business. In the 1880s, his two sons expanded into the oil exporting business. In 1897, his sons renamed the company the Shell Transport and Trading Co. (hence, the logo) and launched their first refinery. On April 23, 1907, the company merged with Royal Dutch to form the Royal Dutch Shell Group (noted as Shell's birthday). Over the decades, the company expanded globally, launched new exploration programs, and found innovations. In the 1980s, the company grew by acquisitions. Today, the company has been met with many challenges from climate change to increased energy needs as it focused to be an active player as the world transitions to a lower carbon emission energy system. Was I shellshocked by the price!? PURCHASE(S) 87 Unleaded Gas ($59.50): I was below the ¼-tank marker and frantically dealt with some last-minute errands before I left town for work. I was the only customer at the time, so I easily pulled into a pump and fueled up immediately. After 13.314 gallons of gas at $4.469/gallon, my CRV was full and ready to go. SERVICE Unless there was something wrong with the pump you were at, the machine was out of receipt paper, or the credit card wasn't working, it was all self-service. Thankfully, my pump flowed quickly and finished fast. If I went inside the food mart, I'm sure I would've seen some employees. All was good and straightforward - thank you! PARKING (N/A) None specifically for the gas station (why would you need one anyway?). However, there were a couple of spots near and behind the food mart - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located along the high-trafficked main drag Pacific Ave., this was a medium gas station with fairly wide one-lane aisles all with long lanes that allowed you to pass around cars. It had a total of 8 pump stations (4 gas lanes with two pumps each). They had soapy suds, squeaky squeegees, paper towels, trash cans, and air & water stations. The pump stations were completely covered from the elements unless a hurricane or tornado headed towards you. And, there was a food mart for any snack. There were a couple of ways to enter/exit the area which alleviated the potential for any traffic jams. There was plenty of natural lighting during the day and plenty of soul-sucking fluorescent lighting at night. There were no TVs or background music. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=V7Kit6r2uTuBWdNPChpI0A ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Shell's Glendale's Pacific Ave. location served its purpose with its relatively comparable prices, its proximity to the freeway offramp, and the food mart in case I needed any snacks. However, I wasn't aware whether or not they charged for air or water which many stations annoyingly did these days. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $59.50 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Quick and easy, fueled up after returning from a weekend getaway…read more It was personable service, easy access restrooms for customers and they were stalked up on everything from chips to bottle cold things. There is limited pumps (only 8 in total) and space compared to other locations, but not bad at all. The gas is quality, not to mention a solid value in price per gallon compared to other gas stations nearby. Located just south of the 134 fwy on Pacific Avenue. It was a very smooth experience at this 24 hour Shell.

In a modern day and age sometimes you want to pay with cash as not only do you save in price per gallon, but you avoid using machines that are potentially tampered with. Also who doesn't enjoy a nice beverage or snack from the convenience store inside... Kind of impossible to enjoy any of those when the store is locked up with no sign or notice... Perhaps someone missed their shift and they couldn't find anyone to fill in? We usually only pop by to gas up and maybe for a snack... When there is someone physically present, the service is polite. I believe there's 12 pumps in total. Air & Water to the side like most gas stations and directly behind it is their Car Wash, which I guess is a hit or a miss. Everything is pretty modern and renovated. It's a pretty spacious 76 off Colorado Street/Pacific Avenue. Fairly reasonable prices among competitors.

I did the wash (worst wash ever btw, see pics) and then went in to see how to get the 25 cents per gallon off that was promised. They said someone was working on the car wash before so I couldn't get the money off. The workers were rude and unapologetic. So I went across the street to get gas, where it is cheaper and better. That's the first and last time I'll go there.
