I don't recommend the car wash. I went through with just a "hyper" basic wash (enough for someone who washes their car almost every time they fill up), it left residue all over my window. I went in to talk to the attendant about it. Pulled my receipt out and told him how much I paid, his immediate response was "that's why". This leaves me wondering if that's really why, or if he was trying to put some sort of blame on me for not buying an overpriced machine wash. Anyway, he walked out to verify that my windshield had residue, fair enough. His solution was not to apologize, complain that he's really busy today, issue me another car wash - not an upgrade (remember he said "that's why" earlier), and send me on my way. I went through immediately - same thing happened. My time is more valuable than arguing over $8 - so I didn't go back inside. Super disappointment that I had to use my windshield wipers immediately after my car wash.

Very RUDE staff! Spoke to Nasrin who was the cashier along with her husband who claims to not work here when I asked for his name. Here's what happened... I bought a $12 car wash from them and the wash stopped working. I waited 30 mins in line for nothing. I called their number to inform them and they said it's "my fault" and hung up. I called again and asked for a service representative to at least come out and check. He asked what's wrong and I told him it's not working. He said "Go through when there's a green light and stop when there's a red light". I said, "That's the thing... I entered when there was a green light and after that all lights shut off. There was no red light. No lights at all that were lit". He told me to go inside and get a code to do it all over again. I asked if I had to go back in line and wait for another 30 mins and he said yeah. So I asked for a refund. He said he'd give me a refund and a free wash. That was a lie to look good in front of the other customers waiting in line behind me at the car wash. When I went inside to explain to the woman the situation, she looked upset at me. She called for her husband and he came in and they spoke in Punjabi to each other. Very rude and unprofessional when dealing with a customer. Then he gave me a code and told me to get back in line. I asked where my refunded receipt was?? He said I can't get a refund. Just to use the code. I said I don't want a car wash anymore if in total I'm waiting an hour for a drive thru wash and asked to just get a refund bcus he's going back on his words. He just said here's the code, that's your refund! I decided I was fed up bcus there's no point in arguing with a liar or someone who isn't there to help and isn't respectful. Another customer came in so the man yelled to me that he gave me a refund. I said "There's no refund if I still paid $12 and am waiting over an hour for a car wash when all I want is my money back!" DO NOT COME HERE. CRAPPY SERVICE ALL AROUND.

I am old enough to remember that when my Pops drove into a Service Station (note that this type of business is no longer called a service station but is now called a Gas Station) you had an attendant, usually dressed in a uniform, approach the driver's window and ask if you wanted "regular or premium." He then proceeded to pump the gas for you. he would also ask if he could check your oil and wash your windows. Sounds like something out of a Fantasy or Dream, right? No it was the way it was not that many years ago. In any event in my search for the cheapest gas in town i asked an Uber driver where he went to get gassed. He said that this 76 station was the cheapest in town. And it is. Plus you can use your Union 76 gas card here AND get 10 cents off the stated price. (pump price was 2.79, after i swiped my 76 card, the price clicked down to 2.69) All of the pumps were working today (not always the case at many other stations) and the place was jumping with Glendalians from all points in Glendale there to take advantage of the low per gallon price. I ventured inside of the snack shop and everything was clean, well stocked, sandwiches all in code. Service here is non-existent. But in case you venture inside the snack shop there is a dude taking money and answering questions. He is more interested in accuracy not being your friend. Then again i'm here for the cheap, good quality gasoline not making a new friend. All in all the big draw here is the gasoline price and the fact that this is Union 76 gasoline one of the best refiners out there. If you are hungry, caffeine or nicotine deprived you can do that here also. There is a sign on the door listing Cigs as $6.79 a box. GULP! i remember when they were $2.00.

Fix your credit card machine. I tried several times and it does not work. I just ended up leaving because I don't have time.

I had barely driven inside when, after the first soap application (which had almost no foam) and a quick rinse, the machine displayed the "GO" sign, indicating that I should exit. I was very surprised and assumed it was a mistake. I pulled out, parked, and went to speak with the employee who had given me the receipt (this time I had to pay at the register because the machine wasn't accepting credit cards). I explained the issue to the cashier. He tried to assure me that everything was working as it should, but I insisted, and he said he would check the cameras. A few minutes later, he returned and said he hadn't noticed anything unusual -- in his opinion, everything was normal. I pointed out that there were fewer wash cycles than usual, that I paid $15 for the top-tier service, but in reality received not even the basic wash -- but a poor-quality version of it. I asked why I hadn't been warned that the wash might not be operating properly, since I wouldn't have chosen the highest-priced option otherwise. He responded that what I choose is up to me. Still confused by the situation, I once again explained exactly what had gone wrong. He asked how long I had been using this car wash. I said about two years. He replied that a lot has changed in two years -- the soap is different, the cycles are different. I immediately responded that I had used this same car wash just a month ago, and everything was fine. He said that he believed everything had worked properly this time as well. At that point, I realized there was no point in continuing the conversation. He didn't seem interested in listening and kept repeating what sounded like a memorized statement about how everything was fine. I turned around and left while he was again insisting that nothing was wrong. I did not receive a refund. I did not receive an apology. I did not receive any acknowledgment of the issue. I will not be returning to this car wash. For management: the employee who assisted me was a man in his 50s.

It just happened. I was asking for manager information after 10 minutes after I paid of him trying to explain to me in his very broken English that I have to pay for gas and car wash at the same time. I mentioned to him that I didn't know that and if he could adjust it for me and he had said okay I paid and then he started with the annoyingly horrible explaining of that's not allowed. I asked for owner information or manager and he looked down for a lie in his brain to form and said "oh he's on vacation" and I said how convenient. I asked the girl next to him if she could give me owner information and she said no and then he started speaking to her in their native tongue right in front of me. I said can you not speak in a language you thinkkkkk I don't understand and she seemed like a scared trainee that was terrified of pissing him off. He's way bigger than her and she just went along with what he was saying after he decided to explain to her in their native tongue what he wants her to regurgitate to me. I walked out without saying a word grabbed my receipt and I've filled up my tank as I wrote this review. The disrespect of this place and (also the horrible quality car wash because they started using cheaper ingredients in the soap) is WHY this place has horrible reviews. Everything could be improved. New staff would be the starting point.

Usually, I tried to fill up at Costco because they had the least-expensive gas around; however, circumstances led me here. The company was founded in 1833 by Marcus Samuel when he decided to expand his London antique business to try and sell oriental seashells as well, due to their popularity in interior design at the time, that ultimately laid the foundation of an import-export business. In the 1880s, his two sons expanded into the oil exporting business. In 1897, his sons renamed the company the Shell Transport and Trading Co. (hence, the logo) and launched their first refinery. On April 23, 1907, the company merged with Royal Dutch to form the Royal Dutch Shell Group (noted as Shell's birthday). Over the decades, the company expanded globally, launched new exploration programs, and found innovations. In the 1980s, the company grew by acquisitions. Today, the company has been met with many challenges from climate change to increased energy needs as it focused to be an active player as the world transitions to a lower carbon emission energy system. I was the only customer at the time, so I easily pulled into a pump and fueled up immediately. After 13.314 gallons of gas at $4.469/gallon, my CRV was full and ready to go. SERVICE Unless there was something wrong with the pump you were at, the machine was out of receipt paper, or the credit card wasn't working, it was all self-service. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located along the high-trafficked main drag Pacific Ave., this was a medium gas station with fairly wide one-lane aisles all with long lanes that allowed you to pass around cars. It had a total of 8 pump stations (4 gas lanes with two pumps each). They had soapy suds, squeaky squeegees, paper towels, trash cans, and air & water stations. The pump stations were completely covered from the elements unless a hurricane or tornado headed towards you. And, there was a food mart for any snack. There were a couple of ways to enter/exit the area which alleviated the potential for any traffic jams. There was plenty of natural lighting during the day and plenty of soul-sucking fluorescent lighting at night.
