You need to come here! You won't regret it! I've been bringing my car here for years and will for years to come. Arthur is amazing! He's honest and does outstanding work! He will honestly tell you if something needs to get done or not and will tell you about how long you have before coming in to do more work. Which is so dreamy! As a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I love bringing my car to Arthur. When my car is in his shop, I know my car is in good hands and that he won't get all sales'i on me. He takes the worrying out of taking your car to the mechanic! I wish all mechanics were like this! read more

!!!!!WARNING!!!! If you get any service done, make sure you ask for the parts that are being replaced. "Got my brakes serviced"on a 2021 Kia Soul Turbo. "HAD TO COME BACK A MONTH LATER TO CHECK ON THE PARTS THAT WERE SERVICED." Come to find out it was never replaced. They will make you come back and wait 8 hours just to force you to sign documents saying you paid cash,... Ask yourself is it worth the so called "VALUE". P.S.: The "manger is always unavailable", and if you get the individual thats in front of the entrance of the "express service center" get ready to work a whole shift with him. read more

I can't say enough good things about Arthur and his mechanic shop! From the moment I walked in, Arthur made me feel confident that my car was in the right hands. He took the time to explain the issues clearly and gave me a fair estimate upfront. Arthur's honesty and integrity set him apart from other mechanics I've dealt with in the past. He didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs, which I truly appreciated. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. If you're looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and friendly mechanic, Arthur is your guy. I'll definitely be returning for any future car needs. Highly recommend! p.s there are many poor reviews on here that deal with the snack shop which is not operated by Arthur...do not be fooled. read more

Glendale Mobil Service - Gas Stations Near Me - Glendale, California

I came in about two weeks ago. I needed for my car to be smogged so that I could get my tabs for the year. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I think that is one of the fastest tests I've completed. The folks here are friendly and there is a small office waiting space where you can sit while waiting for your smog check to be completed. The smog test transmission is completed and you're on your way. Seriously, the time it took to have my test done was NOTHING! I'll come back here in 2 years when I need another smog or whenever I pick up another car that needs to be smogged for the reg. Quick, Fast, Friendly, Thorough . . . can't ask for better! read more

my smog check went very smoothly from start to finish. i called to make an appointment for 5:30 because they close at 6, but it turned out that i had to stay a little late at work. when i called to let arthur know i was running late, he said it was no problem and that he would stay open late just for me. during the actual smog check, he kept me informed every step of the way and was friendly and personable, answering all of my questions. he even noticed that my battery terminal was a little loose and that i should probably get it replaced soon. also, i'm pretty sure he put air in my tires (which always seem to be underinflated) even though he didn't tell me he did. overall, i was impressed with the level of service. it seems like arthur truly cares about his customers and their cars. i also noticed several thank you letters displayed along the counter. i found a coupon online for $15 off, but i see that he is offering yelpers the same deal. the coupon makes the price very reasonable. read more

I recently had to get my 2000 Volkswagen smogged, which I have done before without problem. Not this time. After waiting 5 minutes for a mechanic to acknowledge my existence, he told me to wait for the owner to talk to me. Finally, another 5 minutes goes by and the owner comes out. We discuss the transaction at hand and just before I pay, he realizes I have a Volkswagen and asks if I have an aftermarket stereo. I say yes, like almost anyone would, and he says he can't do it. Apparently every so often, Volkswagens with aftermarket stereos cause problems with smog machines and this particular Mobil had their equipment damaged to the tune of $600 repairs due to this before. I ask him if there is anything I can do. He says 'disconnect your stereo'. I don't know how and ask if they can do it, he says no, I have to go to a specialty audio shop. For a smog check, I have to get my stereo disconnected, then go get it re-connected? Right. After 30 wasted minutes, I decided to go elsewhere. I took my car to Dyrness Automotive and was smogged with no problem in the same amount of time. Thanks for nothing, Mobil. read more

As much as I wish I understood how cars work, I simply don't. I am an easy target for mechanics to overcharge, and I'm suspicious of all of them. I came to this Mobil for the first time probably six years ago. They needed to look at my car to see what the problem was (I don't remember the specifics) and gave me a price range of what it would cost to fix it depending on the problem. I was positive they'd charge me the higher price no matter the problem. But they surprised me by charging me an even lower price than the bottom price they quoted. When I checked prices for the same work at other car repair shops, all were higher. My car has run perfectly all these years. Now I no longer live near this Mobil, but I drive over here because I trust no one else with my car. I've referred friends who've been impressed by their honesty as well. Arthur and his team are good mechanics and trustworthy, and I'm glad I found them. read more

Seriously, I am giving a mechanic a 5 STAR rating. And I mean it. His name is Arthur. He works at Glendale Mobil Station. Not only is he super hot but he is super awesome. This is what's up. I have had 2 Jeep Wranglers. Both of these Jeeps had issues with something I have come to find is way too fucking common with these vehicles. Something "affectionately" termed the "Death Wobble" in the Jeep community. In short, the death wobble is a seizure-like violent shaking that would occur in my vehicle when I was on the freeway going about 50MPH (Generally leaving me shaken and my seat wet where I had pissed my pants from fear). My 1999 Jeep had the problem for about 6 months, and I tried having it repaired by my dealership 3 times before finally just trading it in and getting a 2005 model. Conveniently, right around when I had finally paid off the 2005 Wrangler it began the wobble-o-death on me. I took it to Star on Brand (Specializing in Jeep/Chrysler) and they replace the steering damper. This is exactly what had been done to my first Jeep so I didn't really believe that it would fix the issue but I crossed my fingers... Nope. FAIL. My seat remained wet. I took it to another mechanic who balanced the tires and said that should fix it. WRONG AGAIN! No dice. Finally I took it to Arthur (swoon). He was so caring and wonderful. He really asked me a lot about the car and my previous car. He kept my car for a couple days test-driving it and researching the issue on the web. He tried rotating the tires and then continued test-driving it and found that the problem was not fixed. Eventually he came up with a solution. He was careful to tell me that he was hoping this would fix the issue but he was not sure (he never tried to play like he knew everything but he was obviously reading up and trying to solve the problem). He aligned the car and replaced about 5 of the steering components explaining that Jeeps have a problem with these components wearing out, which results in too much "free play" in the steering system, causing the car to shake when it hits rougher road conditions (not ideal for an off-road vehicle). After he fixed all of those issues, I got an entirely new set of tires (due to his recommendations) and I am happy to say that I have not experienced one seat wetting incident since! No more death wobble! AAAAAAAAAAAND to top it all off, he actually called me to check up on the car and see how everything was going. Now I ask you, WHAT OTHER MECHANIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD HAS EVER HAD THAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE? I rest my case. Arthur, I do not plan on having children but if my husband lets me get the dwarf bunny I've been begging him for, I will name him after you! read more

Glendale Mobil Service - Gas Stations Near Me - Glendale, California

Been buying gas here when in the area, because of good prices and also because of the beautiful and charming cashier (Zovinar). Met the mechanic, Arthur, a couple of weks ago, when he quickly helped me with a minor issue at no charge. Brought the old Cherokee back in Monday 7/15 for a "laundry list" of delayed maintenance. Picked up this AM. It now drives with more power, working AC, and NO SQUEAKS OR RATTLES. Particularly noteworthy: -- He stuck to the original estimated prices, even though one repair took a LOT more hours than expected due to location of the problem. -- He called me in the evening promptly around 6pm to update me on progress. -- He noticed oil leaks and coolant leaks that I hadn't mentioned. -- He fixed rattle in dashboard without charging -- He adjusted brakes (I suspect) even though we elected not to change pads yet. Brake squeal gone! No charge! -- He had me test drive the car before I paid! -- He showed me the old parts! Much appreciated! -- On all repairs he told me the situation and let me decide whether or not to repair, without pressure. -- Everything is explained CLEARLY. -- The guy and his area are always inexplicably CLEAN. I want to get as good at my work as this guy is at his. I mean that. read more

They are honest and real pro's. I'd NEVER take my car anywhere else. It has 157,000 miles on it and thanks to these guys it is trouble free and runs like new! The last two times I had to take my car to an authorized dealer for something they tried to rip me off with major expensive repairs. Thank God I had Arthur and the guys at Glendale Mobil Service Center available to give me a 2nd opinion! The "critical" repairs recommended by one dealer were totally bogus. NONE of the dealer recs were needed. Because Arthur and the guys here are honest they didn't just tell me that I needed the same thing to take my money. They told me I needed nothing. And they were right. Saved me thousands of dollars. Another time when my window wasn't working a dealer's shop kept the car all day, then told me I needed a new power window assembly and it would cost several hundred dollars. I asked Arthur to look at it, and you know what? All it needed was one of the wires inside to be reconnected. That was it. It still works perfectly, years later! If you're looking for a friendly, professional and HONEST car service shop this is it! Highly recommended, especially if you're a woman that other auto repair places may view as easy to rip off. That won't happen here. They're the absolute BEST! read more

The "air dam" on my front spoiler came attached the other day and I attempted to hold it up with tape. I couldn't even get ahold of my dealership! Great service garage. I recommend them. read more

Just saying, almost five years since my original review and Arthur just keeps on being the best in the business. I recently had a problem with my car that he was able to diagnose over the phone just by my telling him the symptoms! Unfortunately, his schedule didn't jibe with me taking it to him for the repair, but I did what he suggested and it solved the problem instantly. The man is an automotive wizard and has always treated both me and my family members with utmost courtesy and respect. I badly needed an oil change and I just came here to get gas, but I saw that they also did service work. So,I thought I might give it a shot. I'm not from California. Glendale Mobil Service - Gas Stations Near Me - Glendale, California

I was driving home from my son's soccer game when my "low tire pressure" alarm went off. Since I live a fair bit away from the area, I frantically stopped at the first service place I could find. Lucky for me, that place was Glendale Mobil Service. The shop owner Arthur was so friendly and helpful. Though his shop was packed with cars already, he had me pull up in front. He checked the pressure and refilled all of my tires and wouldn't even accept a tip. So grateful for this gem of a service shop! read more

I am truly excited when every time I take my car to Mr. Arthur Kuyudzhyan for checkups, services, repairs, and when he calls me to update what was wrong with my car, and how he fixed it, and especially when he tells me that the car is ready, and I can take it, the next minute I think of putting a nice review so that everybody in the community knows and recognizes what a rare quality auto service & repair expert he is; what a reliable honest diagnostic & emissions specialist our community has, and if the people who have any problems with their cars, simply pick up your phone, and dial 818.244.0151, and go see Arthur. Honestly, I cannot resist doing that. Trust me the next hour I find myself sitting at the computer writing, about Arthur. What I like about Arthur and appreciate greatly is that, he will send me friendly reminders all the time, saying it's time for oil change, time for changing the tires, time to check up brakes and lot more. Besides, I am under the impression that Arthur is more concerned about the people being happy with the job he did, rather than how much they paid for the job done. I can never thank him enough for when recently I took my car to him, although he was in excruciating pain of sciatica, he made sure that my car was in excellent condition. I am so blessed to have Arthur as the best auto- mechanic expert. Arthur, your bright example, your ideas, your loyalty and honesty, your caring and commitment; what a wonderful legacy you have. I discovered this service center many years ago, when I went there for a regular smog check. Since then this is my only trusted place for my cars mechanical/service needs. My advice to readers: JUST GIVE IT A TRY ONCE ... I enjoy the owner's amazing attitude, honest & diligent service, always ready to go out of way to make customers happy. These days, when it's almost impossible to find a trustworthy mechanic shop, this place has earned my complete trust. I have another advice for the readers: when you check different places for a price quote for certain service, don't rush to the cheapest place (because you know, you get what you pay for), but if trustworthiness, honesty, quality and friendship is more important to you, choose Glendale Mobile Service Center. May God continue blessing this business and its crew for many more years ahead! read more
