I was there at 5:30am 2.11.25. I work as a private investigator so every morning I always go to a gas station to top off my gas and clean my windows. This morning was business as usual I top off my tank (the pump wasn't working correctly it kept stopping as if the tank was full but it wasn't but I generally know I needed about 3 gallons of gas to make it to full tank but I stopped at around $8 and started cleaning my windows. As I finished I sat n my van and open my phone to turn on my navigation then the gas station attendant walks over to me and says "are you ok" I said good morning sir yes I am thanks. Then he starts being very rude saying you been here 30 mins I need you to leave. I said sir it's been 21 mins and you Litterly see me sitting in my van engine on about to leave. He said LEAVE I said calm down I'm a paying customer. He laughs and says only $8? And I need room For my customers... please the owner whoever reading this check the camera there is absolutely no one there all the pumps were available. I would give no stars. Worst service ever. Supposedly open 24/7. Charged me credit card prices sine they were cleaning. ( no cleaning crew in store). Charged me CC prices. Today I come in to get gas. I arrived to get a smog check, upon being greeted I told the gentleman I had a coupon for $29.95, he literally laughed at me and said "That was like 10 years ago", I showed him the coupon with his address and an expiration date of 1/30/2023 (it was 1/14/23). I looked puzzled and asked him if this was the correct address, he said yes but an old coupon, when I told him about the expiration date, he didn't even want to look at the coupon. I told him a lot of places offer that/this kind of deal, and his response was "good luck". I don't think he knew / knows I work for OSHA and he now will have a slightly bigger problem on his hands, some people shouldn't have jobs that deal with customer service, because he had none. People here are very freindly and helpful. I had my car smoged here and the guy gave me 5$ of the regular price. I get gas here all the time and the window cleaner is always clean and the squeegees work well. The prices are comparable to the other gas stations. I dislike people who complain about gas prices. I dread the notice from the DMV saying I need to get the car smogged. All the places I have gone to in the past are in those little automotive strip malls where I have to wait and wait and wait in a small dirty room with old car magazines and greasy plastic chairs. This year I checked yelp for a local place and low and behold I found Tujunga Shell. This happens to be my regular gas station which is actually one of the prettier gas stations in the area. I found a coupon on the website and drove over. The reviews were right. The owner was friendly and fast. He offered me a clean padded chair outside where I was treated to the drama of a very old well worn white Mustang running out of gas a few feet from the pump. Now Im not sure the driver was a Tujunga resident, but as colorful as she was, it was quite possible. The Mustang had a convertible top that was just in shreds and she was wearing an outfit that probably looked good on her several decades prior. The smog shop owner took a moment to help the woman push her car to the pump, which was very nice and then returned to test my car. It took about 15 minutes, just long enough for the mustang driving woman to put some gas in her car, only to find it now wouldn't start. I had originally planned on buying a few tasty treats in the little Shell shop or standing in front of one of those pump tv things, but watching people come and go was much better. My car passed, the paperwork was handed to me, it was $40 which included some government charges which Im sure is just a way to scam more money from the hard working populace. I still hate having to get my car smogged, but when I have to I will certainly come back here. read more

They do have a pretty well stocked mini mart with all the quick snacks and drinks you may need on your quest. Pretty nice staff as well. its gas station not much to review. read more

I forgot the name of the gentleman that helped me but he was very patient, kind and friendly. After picking up my daughter from daycare yesterday, I took my car to get a smog check. I arrived at 5:40 pm and was literally the last customer of the day. The man was friendly and asked if my daughter and I wanted to wait inside because it was cold. I thought that was very thoughtful. The smog check was literally done in 15 minutes! That's the FASTEST it's ever been! My total was $40 (with a coupon I found online). This is also the cheapest I've ever paid for a smog check (I own a 2001 Honda Civic). Over all, great customer service, very friendly, very fast and I got gas for a good price. So I decided to stray from my usual LC shell to this one & boy did I regret it! I pulled up to the pump & used my credit card & pumped my gas. Well I didn't realize until I was home that my fuel gauge never changed! I went back the next day & the guy finally helped me out & at first didn't even want to give me my full amount of gas that I paid for! Um hello I didn't get X amount of gallons I got nothing! & even if I did get a gallon or 2 why in the world wouldn't you reimburse me my full amount in the name of good business practice!? Anyway the gas went up 10 cents overnight too & of course they didn't give me my original price since they were already giving me my FULL amount paid back...I guess since they didn't owe me what I paid for!? Without any doubt, this is one of the worst gas stations in southern California (and I drive all over the southland for work, so that is saying something)! Not necessarily because of the fuel, location or even the little market, but entirely because of the guy who works the register in the daytime, who must be the owner or manager, because there can be no other reason how someone this belligerent, disrespectful, snooty and rude can still have a job. He has very short hair, shorter than a crew cut that is dark with some grey in it. He treats customers like they should worship him for letting them buy his fuel! Even on days that he didn't open his mouth or sneer at me or other customers like peasants, he somehow finds a way to be the cashier and take money without so much as looking at you or saying thanks or acknowledging your existence. I don't care what culture you are or what part of the world you come from, there is absolutely no excuse for this guy's narcissistic, egotistic, belittling attitude toward other people, let alone customers. I now drive way out of my way to avoid this gas station! If you have to choice but to stop there, take my advise and DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE CASHIER! Great and fast service here. Hovik is a pro. I loved his service so much, I recommended it to others who have visited him. One thing I learned, and love to pass it to you. If you have a situation where your car battery has been drained for a long time, you jump it to go get it smog checked, make sure you drive the car for at least 50 miles beforehand, otherwise, your car's computer will not recognize all the sensors in the car, and so, smog check will not be successful (and you'll have to recheck). I was the technician, Oganes Katrdzhyan that smogged Phil H's car. First of all, I did everything I could have done to correct my mistake; I offered to pay to repaint the small chip, which I took full responsibilty of. Phil proceeded to yell, get abusive and aggressive, I remained calm and once again told Phil that I would correct the problem. He left yelling and cursing, and threatening a lawsuit. He later called the station and APOLOGIZED for his rude, aggressive and disrespectful behavior. However, upon returning to present the repair estimate which I was fully ready to pay for. I not only paid for the repair, but as a gesture of friendship I smogged his other vehicle FREE OF CHARGE. I do not understand Phil's negative review, I did whatever he asked to remedy the problem, but still he wrote a negative review with many untruths and exagerations. Mo, the owner went out of his way to remedy this situation, but dealing with Phil seemed like an impossible task. I've passed by the gas station many times, and filled up a few times. This time I needed a STAR certified Smog station, my friend told me to go there. I did. As I approached Hovig, the smog guy, graciously greeted me. Got to work right away. My smog passed very quickly and with no problems. When I said I used to go to his competitor across the street the street, he charged me the same price I was paying before. I expected to pay more. I've been to this Shell station many times. It's been fine. Fill up and leave, not much to say. But today I pulled up very early in the morning. The station employee was hosing down the grounds. I purposely went to the pump furthest from him. Everything was already wet. I assumed he had finished cleaning near my pump. As I exited my car to start filling up, he approached me. He told me I needed to move so he could clean. I asked him if I could just fill up for one minute, to which he shrugged his shoulders. So I told him it's fine and took my business elsewhere. This review is about the gas station, not the smog station! I am a shell card holder so Shell is the only place I purchase gas. It never fails when I go in on my way to work, the guy who works the morning shift IS ALWAYS ON HIS BLUETOOTH! Sooo rude. He's tall, in his mid to late 30's, and he is Arab. I know he is Arab for one morning I was in there purchasing gas and an elderly Armenian man came in speaking Armenian to him. He responded aggressively 'I'm not Armenian, I'm Arabic'. I think that's what he said.lol. He seems very unprofessional. I don't know if he is the owner, manager, or what, but he definitely acts as if he owns the place, and has a nonchalant disposition. I don't like him. Usually I just pay at the pump to avoid him, but if the pump says pay inside or won't take my Ralph's reward card, I have no choice but to go inside. I try to fill up my tank in the evenings or weekend to avoid him, but sometimes it's inevitable. There are times when he speaks, or seems like he is in a good mood, but for the most part he sucks. A bit manic depressive, but guaranteed to always be on the phone. You'd think as a shell card holder you'd get a bit of respect, but no...Come to think of it, I should probably send a review to corporate as well. read more

I took my car to Tujunga Shell Test Only for a smog test. It is located at the Tujunga Shell gas station on the corner of Foothill and Apperson. I Arrived at 8:40am on a Monday morning and luckily there was nobody in front of me. The guy doing the test was friendly and offered me a folding chair to sit in while I waited. In about ten minutes it was done and I was on my way. They advertise the smog test for $29.95, but with the certificate fee and electronic transfer fee the total came to $40 even. Not bad, considering some other places charge between $50 and $70. I'll return next time one of our cars is due for a smog test. read more

Poor service. Dishonest. They scratched my vehicle down to the metal, and offered nothing to fix it. Oganes Katrdzhyan was loud, and argued. He was unprofessional and did not know what he was doing. He could not figure out how to drive my vehicle. I would not trust Tujunga Shell with my car again. Mo, the owner, offered no solution or help to fix my vehicle, even though Katrdzhyan admitted to scratching my vehicle. After leaving the station, my vehicle has not run right since, and will have to take it to the dealer to resolve my problem that Tujunga Shell caused. I believe Mo HATES Americans and that is why they refused to resolve or apologize for what they did. read more

I saw the loser who runs the gas station at Vons. I had to count to 10 to avoid punching him in his piggy like nose. A few years ago this basturd had the audacity to say "are you aware those scratchers cost $10!!!!" When I went in to get gas and a few lottery tickets. I replied yes I'm well aware they are $10, I purchase them all the time. Then he said "cash only". I said never mind and walked out. Now mind you I'm an avid lottery player. That's nothing to brag about, but it's the truth. $20 dollar scratchers, $30 dollar scratchers. I play them all, and mostly lose. Is what it is, but for this smug, hairy, overly cologned fvcktard to assume that I can't afford them? Who the hell is he to assume what my financial status is? I assume he's too poor to afford to get his body waxed. Anyway, instead of losing my cool I contacted corporate via email. They responded the following day that this station is independently owned. There's no standard customer service procedure I guess is what they were saying. He can do whatever he wants. Must be nice. Had I known that, I would have responded more appropriately. Cursed him out maybe. Since he has no rules to abide by, why should I?! Hopefully I run into him again one day. Oh and btw I cut up my shell card and mailed it to corporate in protest.
