I was really excited to stop in and try the Mo'Bay Beignet Company. Street parking was taken up right in front of the restaurant, so I had to park two blocks away and walk, which was a pleasant walk as other people were walking to various restaurants in the area The inside is light and airey with a friendly feel. Since they reopen after the being shut down from covid-19, I decided to check them out when it wouldn't be so crowded. I asked the cashier what she recommended she said that one serving of beignets was enough for two people and she was right. Those fluffy layers of goodness were plenty for us to share. All of them were drenched in powdered sugar, the only way to eat a beignet, and every mouthful was yummy. My brother decided to devour his beignet with a butter cream sauce. he said it was good but he could probably do without it because the beignet itself was amazing.
