They were out of vanilla ice cream which greatly limited their ice cream-based dessert offerings -- no affogato or ube milkshake (made with ube syrup and vanilla ice cream). Gor the cookies and cream affogado instead which was heavenly on a hot day thay started with a sunrise hike!

This place has a super fun, unique atmosphere. Garage theme comes through and well done. The menu is pretty unique and features cute names and interesting combinations of food. The prices are moderate to slightly high though comparable to the area. And the service was friendly and helpful. The actual meals were large portions. I'd definitely recommend and say it's a solid 4.5 star place to go when in Moab.

Has a cafe vibe. Upon entry, grab a menu then order at the counter from the friendly staff. Sit at a table and your food will be brought out to you. They have some merchandise on display to browse while you wait. Ordered the Savory Quinoa bowl with chicken and the Smothered Mother burrito. Both were great and good portions. I took half of my meal with me. It was a nice healthier option!

Really loved this place in Moab! We stopped in here for a late breakfast/lunch after doing a hike and it did not disappoint! The staff is really friendly as well. We each ordered the smothered mother burrito which was so very good. Don't skimp on the hot sauce though! I felt the red sauce on top needed some more kick/spices but otherwise it was great. We sat out front in the patio and it was a beautiful day. Followed it up with a coffee for the road. They serve La Barba coffee here which is one of our favorites in the valley so we were very excited for that. They also have a water bottle filler if you need to fill up!

The vibe of this coffee shop is inviting and friendly. There are cute and thoughtful decorations all around and the coffee is solid. I didn't get to try the food menu yet but I'll be coming back to have breakfast here definitely.

If there was one place I became a regular at during my time in Moab, it was the Moab Garage Co. You can tell by these photos, at least 3 times - there may have been a fourth. Everything I tried on their menu was a hit with my taste buds. Their beverages are out of this world. Wish I could have tried their bar side and some of their baked goods. They have a lovely vibe and displays featuring local artisan work.

Traditional Breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast)

Good: The latte was tasty and the Traditional Breakfast was delicious. I opted for scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked nicely and had a light seasoning. The tots were fun for breakfast, in place of typical hash browns. Not So Good: The bacon was completely overcooked, hard, and flat. In fact, I wasn't sure if it was real bacon or turkey bacon. Another complaint is the chaotic nature of how this place is operated. You walk up to a counter to order. It was very busy, loud, people everywhere. They don't take your name, give you a number or pager. Instead, a runner walks around a VERY crowded place searching for the right customer. Crazy to not have some kind of system. The loud, small space, broken up into front and back rooms, with all the people coming and going was just not relaxing in the least.

We heard about this place on Instagram and made it a must visit on our trip to Moab. We were not disappointed, we got here around 3pm. The place wasn't packed and the line moved fast. We tried an iced caramel macchiato and a breakfast burrito. The caramel macchiato was great highly recommend. There was definitely a lot of ice so I would ask for light ice next time. The burrito was also really good. We thought it would be a bit bigger which is why we decided to share, but it was super willing to I think I still consider it shareable. All in the food was relatively expensive. It came up to $20 which was a bit more than expected, but then again it's Moab so it's not super unusual. Beyond the food, service was super fast and nice and while there is no dedicated parking, it's not hard to find.

Stopped by this cute little cafe for lunch! It was pretty busy, but the line goes by fast. There's seating in the main area and in the back parlor room. They're a eco-friendly place! They charge for to-go boxes and their soap is shaved environmentally friendly soap. Super cool! The service was quick and good was fresh. I got the Garage burrito (breakfast is served all day), and I believe their lunch menu starts at 11 am. The garage burrito was delicious! Came with this amazing sauce and there were tator tots inside the burrito - yum!! I didn't get the salad, but I saw when they brought it out for someone, the bowls are huuuge. The salad options looked pretty good too! Love the funky cafe vibes, with chill music and friendly staff. Will come back here to try other menu items!

I enjoyed a really great smothered barbacoa breakfast burrito in a rich red chile sauce. The lattes were smooth and delicious. My friend had a cronut glazed with maple icing that he seemed to enjoy. He said it was a little less light than some, but still good. Cute atmosphere!

This place is really cool! Great menu options, great service too! Ordered the garage burrito and it was delicious. Great price and appropriate portion size for breakfast. My wife ordered the Liege waffle, she wasn't overly hungry. It was delicious, but it really isn't a stand alone breakfast item. We will definitely stop here again the next time we are in town.

Came here for lunch in Moab! A cute little place for coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and/or salads. Was able to find parking a couple streets over in town and walk. I ordered the super veggie salad and my dad ordered the turkey Gouda sandwich. The workers were so nice and helpful. The salad was HUGE! It was very fresh and had lots of veggies! The turkey Gouda sandwich was also very good with great flavors. Prices were average for lunch ~$12 for each. The inside has more seating than I thought with some options in the front and back. I wish there were more outdoor seating options. Overall a nice little lunch!

Excellent coffee and ice cream here. We tried another popular ice cream place before this one but definitely made Moab garage our go to place during our 4 days in town afterwards. They do pour overs for drip coffee on request at reasonable prices. They also made sure to make the coffee with all the heart. It's nice to find this new place as they fulfilled our most discerning tastes for quality ice cream and coffee. While there's plenty of ice cream places in town, this is the only one with the absolute best. They have the incredible nitro equipment to make each scoop mouth watering. Very friendly staff here. We came here several times during our visit to Moab and plan to return next time we are in town. read more

We came here for an early lunch (11:00) and there was no soap in the bathroom. Always a bad sign for your first impression of a restaurant. Where do the employees wash their hands? We notified one of the employees but by the time we left still no soap. Food was really good though! So we backed off the soap issue. Had the meatball sandwich, berry feta, supper veggie and strawberries goat cheese toast. Everything was fresh and tasted Devine! But no soap, so no 5 stars.. read more

We stopped in here once while were in town for a post-hike cold drink and some baked goods to treat ourselves later in the day. The iced coffee drinks were on-point, and the Mexican chocolate cookie and peanut butter bar were delicious. I liked the atmosphere here, lots of character. read more

Interesting place. The entrees were a little out of the ordinary but were delicious. I had the meatball sandwich. Though it was a little lacking in sauce, I am sure had I asked I would have been given more. The meat taco sampler was delicious as were the ice cream treats we had. Definitely worth a visit. read more

This place was really good! The eatery is clean, staff are really nice and friendly. The menu has great options. If you are vegetarian, this is a good spot. I came here two days in a row as I found the place really good the first time. We ordered the strawberry goat cheese toast, waffle with strawberries, vegetarian sandwich and the tacos. It was all fresh and really delicious! There is an option for carry out, which we did since we were hiking. Food stayed fresh and tasted great hours later. When back in Moab, I will return here. read more

Our family stopped here after exploring Arches under cold rain. We had cappuccino, iced americano, berry hibiscus ice cream, cookies, and hot chocolate. Everything with the exception of the last item was delicious. Hot chocolate could have used more cocoa according to my husband and daughter. The menu has a nice selection of lunch food, and the ambiance is wonderful. We'll certainly be back! read more

Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream... Yes, PLEASE! I had one scoop of cookies and cream, delicious. Flavors change daily and the waffle cones are handmade. Flavors when we were there Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel, Cake Batter, Honey Lavender, Espresso Chip, S'mores and Cinnamon Brown Sugar. They also serve breakfast and lunch. Okay, finally an ice cream place with dairy-free options. Anything in the store can be made dairy-free. They use a base of either milk, coconut, or soy... You decide! Then they flavor it and they use nitro to chill it. Ok so this nitro stuff is pretty sketchy, if they do it wrong you could end up in the hospital... But honestly, having a selection of creamy non-sorbet dairy-free flavors is sooo worth the risk! read more

My wife and I were looking for a local place to get some lunch and found the Moab garage. It is delicious. We both got the BLT sandwich and it was fantastic. After such a great sandwich we tried the ice cream. The ice cream was also great. Cannot recommend this place enough. We are in Moab for the weekend and will definitely be going back during our time here. read more

We have been in Moab for two days and by far the best place to eat in town. We had dinner and desert. Both were amazing. If you are in Moab, make a stop at the Moab Garage. We are trying breakfast tomorrow. I'll update late UPDATE 6/28/19: Breakfast was phenomenal. We had the traditional breakfast, garage burrito and the liege waffle. Everything was cooked perfectly with just the right twist of local touch. I can not recommend this place enough. Even the house coffee was good! Typically drop coffee is ok, but they roast their own beans. Stop by when in Moab, you will not be disappointed. read more

After reading the great reviews, we stopped in after dinner for a sweet treat. I got cookie dough ice cream and my husband got chocolate. It was fun to watch them prepare it with liquid nitrogen but the product was just okay. To their credit, I feel like I ordered the wrong thing. They had some really cool ice cream flavors and I'd like to go back to try something more adventurous next time. read more

LOVE this place. Counting scones and coffee for breakfast, we had 5 Garage meals in our 5 days in Moab. The turkey cranberry Gouda was worth having twice! Also had the southwestern salad with chicken, which was excellent. On day five I finally saved room for some of their very popular made-on-the-spot ice cream. Peanut butter chocolate pretzel was sooo good! read more

Chill environment. Well lit with natural sunshine. Best place to start your day with a handmade breakfast and coffee before heading out to hike. Friendly staff. The food and coffee are high quality so worth a couple extra bucks. The quinoa bowl is delicious! read more

Sunday 10 AM, we'd just climbed to the anthill to and from Delicate Arch in Arches NP. Hungry... found The Moab Garage via Yelp and it was awesome. COVID-Wise, this place bats a thousand. Social distancing, offering masks (dumb-nuts, put them on!!!), and bringing completed orders to the car. Honey had the Garage Burrito and it must have weighed 2#. Every ounce (plus avocado) was delicious. I had the Croque Monsieur and it was exceptional. I think they drizzled it with flakes of oregano (sorry, Moab-sters, if I'm guessing incorrectly) and it was fantastic. Both coffee drinks were good. My cappuccino was runny at first, but the barista remade it to perfection. BTW, the staff was beautiful - I felt like I should have taken out my easel and sketched the whole masked lot of them! Just go (and then try Moab's other spots, I am looking forward to coming back!). read more

The vibes are very casual/chill inside. Overall, Dewey's is a very solid choice for American food in Moab, especially if you are hungry for a large portion.

The lady taking orders and bringing out food was super nice, really welcoming, and really added to the positive experience. The place itself has a good amount of indoor seating, and it's not only a bakery and bistro, but it's also a shop with all sorts of cute things! Mugs, gifts, jewelry, cards, there's a bunch of really cute and fun items to browse. This place does close a little earlier in the afternoon, but it's a great lunch spot after a morning hike!

The wings were delicious and we also enjoyed the onion rings. The onion rings were served with spicy mustard and ranch and having a choice of two dips was nice and created two different taste experiences. The pulled pork nachos were okay, but the pulled pork itself was not my favorite. It wasn't flavorful, but I didn't have high expectations of the pulled pork in the first place.

The Eggs Benedict are really so delicious. They use a non-traditional hollandaise sauce which, amazingly amped up the flavor of the eggs! And the eggs were perfectly made so that the whites were thoroughly cooked and the yolk was runny. Odd, but this is a difficult thing to get in a restaurant. The meal was served with delicious home fries where the potatoes were moist and flavored. We also ordered a side of their thick bacon, which had a bit of a different flavor - very nice. The bacon was perfectly cooked. We took a chance on the egg scramble, which had lots of promise with the many ingredients listed, but the eggs were overcooked and dry, so the other ingredients couldn't compensate. They served the eggs with a very nice bread for their toast. We almost didn't come here as we only saw the side of the building, which was a very small house looking structure. But as you continue down the street, you can see that they have expanded their restaurant to include the dining area: an "inside" area and a patio area. All of this new structure is glass or plastic windows, they have heating and cooling to accommodate for the time of day and they did a great job of making a pleasant eatery. Everyone we met at the restaurant was pleasant and kind. It was such an enjoyable time. We have a few more days in Moab, so we will be back.

Huevos rancheros, now I've eaten at breakfast restaurants all over the country. And lots in Mexico. This is one of the worst Rancho rancheros I've ever had. I don't normally take the time to write reviews unless I'm either thrilled or completely disappointing. This was three tortillas slapped on a plate. Sorry a metal tray. Toss cheese on. A quarter of an avocado poorly sliced a bunch of hush puppies some tortilla chips and drown it in a cheap tomato paste sauce. I didn't finish it it was not worth my stomach. We were SO happy to find this spot. Amazing food and service. We came twice in one day it was so good! The owner and staff were incredible. The breakfast burrito was excellent, as were the doughnuts that they get from their sister business. For lunch we had the BLT and the street tacos. Amazing! read more
