They were out of vanilla ice cream which greatly limited their ice cream-based dessert offerings -- no affogato or ube milkshake (made with ube syrup and vanilla ice cream). Gor the cookies and cream affogado instead which was heavenly on a hot day thay started with a sunrise hike!

This place has a super fun, unique atmosphere. Garage theme comes through and well done. The menu is pretty unique and features cute names and interesting combinations of food. The prices are moderate to slightly high though comparable to the area. And the service was friendly and helpful. The actual meals were large portions. I'd definitely recommend and say it's a solid 4.5 star place to go when in Moab.

Has a cafe vibe. Upon entry, grab a menu then order at the counter from the friendly staff. Sit at a table and your food will be brought out to you. They have some merchandise on display to browse while you wait. Ordered the Savory Quinoa bowl with chicken and the Smothered Mother burrito. Both were great and good portions. I took half of my meal with me. It was a nice healthier option!

Really loved this place in Moab! We stopped in here for a late breakfast/lunch after doing a hike and it did not disappoint! The staff is really friendly as well. We each ordered the smothered mother burrito which was so very good. Don't skimp on the hot sauce though! I felt the red sauce on top needed some more kick/spices but otherwise it was great. We sat out front in the patio and it was a beautiful day. Followed it up with a coffee for the road. They serve La Barba coffee here which is one of our favorites in the valley so we were very excited for that. They also have a water bottle filler if you need to fill up!

The vibe of this coffee shop is inviting and friendly. There are cute and thoughtful decorations all around and the coffee is solid. I didn't get to try the food menu yet but I'll be coming back to have breakfast here definitely.

If there was one place I became a regular at during my time in Moab, it was the Moab Garage Co. You can tell by these photos, at least 3 times - there may have been a fourth. Everything I tried on their menu was a hit with my taste buds. Their beverages are out of this world. Wish I could have tried their bar side and some of their baked goods. They have a lovely vibe and displays featuring local artisan work.

Traditional Breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast)

Good: The latte was tasty and the Traditional Breakfast was delicious. I opted for scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked nicely and had a light seasoning. The tots were fun for breakfast, in place of typical hash browns. Not So Good: The bacon was completely overcooked, hard, and flat. In fact, I wasn't sure if it was real bacon or turkey bacon. Another complaint is the chaotic nature of how this place is operated. You walk up to a counter to order. It was very busy, loud, people everywhere. They don't take your name, give you a number or pager. Instead, a runner walks around a VERY crowded place searching for the right customer. Crazy to not have some kind of system. The loud, small space, broken up into front and back rooms, with all the people coming and going was just not relaxing in the least.

We heard about this place on Instagram and made it a must visit on our trip to Moab. We were not disappointed, we got here around 3pm. The place wasn't packed and the line moved fast. We tried an iced caramel macchiato and a breakfast burrito. The caramel macchiato was great highly recommend. There was definitely a lot of ice so I would ask for light ice next time. The burrito was also really good. We thought it would be a bit bigger which is why we decided to share, but it was super willing to I think I still consider it shareable. All in the food was relatively expensive. It came up to $20 which was a bit more than expected, but then again it's Moab so it's not super unusual. Beyond the food, service was super fast and nice and while there is no dedicated parking, it's not hard to find.

Stopped by this cute little cafe for lunch! It was pretty busy, but the line goes by fast. There's seating in the main area and in the back parlor room. They're a eco-friendly place! They charge for to-go boxes and their soap is shaved environmentally friendly soap. Super cool! The service was quick and good was fresh. I got the Garage burrito (breakfast is served all day), and I believe their lunch menu starts at 11 am. The garage burrito was delicious! Came with this amazing sauce and there were tator tots inside the burrito - yum!! I didn't get the salad, but I saw when they brought it out for someone, the bowls are huuuge. The salad options looked pretty good too! Love the funky cafe vibes, with chill music and friendly staff. Will come back here to try other menu items!

I enjoyed a really great smothered barbacoa breakfast burrito in a rich red chile sauce. The lattes were smooth and delicious. My friend had a cronut glazed with maple icing that he seemed to enjoy. He said it was a little less light than some, but still good. Cute atmosphere!

This place is really cool! Great menu options, great service too! Ordered the garage burrito and it was delicious. Great price and appropriate portion size for breakfast. My wife ordered the Liege waffle, she wasn't overly hungry. It was delicious, but it really isn't a stand alone breakfast item. We will definitely stop here again the next time we are in town.

Came here for lunch in Moab! A cute little place for coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and/or salads. Was able to find parking a couple streets over in town and walk. I ordered the super veggie salad and my dad ordered the turkey Gouda sandwich. The workers were so nice and helpful. The salad was HUGE! It was very fresh and had lots of veggies! The turkey Gouda sandwich was also very good with great flavors. Prices were average for lunch ~$12 for each. The inside has more seating than I thought with some options in the front and back. I wish there were more outdoor seating options. Overall a nice little lunch!

Funky cafe on Main with surprisingly good - dare I say - excellent food with portions to kill the hunger beast after leaving it all on the trails. I had the grilled cheese- which changes up daily. Today's featured 3 cheeses with calabrese salami and blackberries. Those worked beautifully together. My friend had the meatball sandwich-he reports "tasty actually". Their sandwiches come with chips or green salad, vinaigrette homemade and flavorful, well balanced. Too full for ice cream myself but said friend had chocolate cookies and cream and reports excellent texture and flavor. They've got a very nice selection of baked Goods and coffees as well. I'm writing this review to figure out why no one has mentioned the deep fried peanut butter & jelly sandwich?!? I'm not one for deep fried carnival food, but this hit the spot & was delicious (not greasy like carnival food). Hands down the most impressive meal I've had in Moab thus far. I washed it down with a nitroccino (also delicious)...and I should mention (b/c not enough have) they serve nitro ice cream. read more

Wish I lived in Moab solely for this place. Breakfast burritos are incredible. Phenomenal coffee. Great pastries. And the aesthetic and interior design is perfectly up to date without being obnoxiously "Indie." Legitimately top 3 coffee shops I've ever been in. Super clean and the food was delicious!! We had the veggie sandwich and the veggie meatball sandwich. Both were so good! The bread they use is definitely a difference maker. What a gorgeous space! I was thrilled when I walked in just based on the look of the place alone, and the food reinforced my initial feelings. I ordered smoked salmon toast with a drip coffee. The toast was fresh and tasty, but the coffee was the real standout. It was genuinely some of the best coffee I've had anywhere in a long time which I really wouldn't haven't expected before visiting Moab, but I've since realized this town excels in many ways I wouldn't expect. My only regret is not buying a bag of beans for the road as I was very sad when I hit the bottom of my cup, but I guess that just gives me something to look forward to the next time I'm in town. Fantastic stuff. read more

Service and atmosphere practically the definition of five-star. Over the top with room to spare. Waffle cone is the best anywhere. Ice cream needs some work. First, staff are friendly, patient, and actually enthusiastic. It feels like they're genuinely excited to share something with you. The good vibes are contagious. The atmosphere is great. Setting is "industrial-modern" which isn't my favorite, but the liquid nitrogen gimmick is solidly cool. They mix each serving of ice cream by hand in little steel mixers then add the liquid nitrogen right in front of you for a theatrical effect. The ice cream itself isn't great, sadly. First, given the "craft, small-batch" mixing technique you'd expect real ingredients from top to bottom. Unfortunately, artifical colors and flavors abound. Next, consistency is on the soft side, which is great for immediate eats, but quickly dissolves. Texture needs work. The fruit in my strawberry shortcake ice cream was frozen solid in little iceberg hunks of tooth cringing unpalitableness. The graham in my key lime pie was grainy like sand, not chunky as one may expect. Finally, flavors on the whole were muted. I'd call it "subtle" if they used more whole ingredients, but in any case not too flavorful IMO. Still, prices were modest, well below what you'd expect for the concept and location. I'd be back in a heartbeat to try again given the potential, outstanding service and cool vibes. read more

Found this on yelp and it was a good choice. Wish I could give it four and a half stars. Had a yummy super veggie salad with tons of greens, carrots, cucumbers, sprouts, bell peppers and balsamic dressing. It was huge. I added chicken which was a little dry. My daughter had the goat cheese, strawberry, balsamic drizzle toast on sour dough which came with two good size pieces of toast and was yummy. Hubby had the meatball sandwich which was also a good size Sammie and full of meatballs and cheese. Son-in-law had the pulled pork sandwich which he said was also a little dry. The sandwiches also came with a nice side salad. Overall really good and we're going to come back to try breakfast soon. read more

Woo, good coffee! Got to try the cold brew and iced americano, I can recommend both. Reasonable prices too. They have coconut, almond and soy milk. It's also a little retail space with some kitchy little jewelry, shirts and bags. I bought a toe ring for $8 something, very cute and a good souvenir of my time spent around Moab! Their ice cream seemed popular and they had some grab-and-go food options. I preferred this coffee to the one I had earlier in the day at Moab roasters almost right next door, but I think that I didn't order the right thing in the morning, should've gotten something stronger on the espresso front. Anyways, friendly service and chill environment. Good job guys! read more

We stayed in Moab for 3 nights and ended up coming here twice. It's a nice casual place with a great vibe. We liked that it was an order at the counter type of place. On the first night we got the turkey and Gouda sandwich and a blueberry basil shake. Sandwich was tasty, but the shake seemed a bit watery/icy - good flavor though. Second night was a Cobb salad and PB pretzel ice cream. Everything tasted good, only downside is it's on the pricker side but that seems to be the standard for Moab. Would recommend read more

You can tell Erin, one of the owners, is passionate about customer service - she was accommodating (brought our dog water with ice!), friendly and hard working. My family and I went in to get ice cream and were satisfied. We all got different flavors and not a single one was bad. The single scoops are a good size, definitely enough to split cause I couldn't finish all mine! We bought a bag of their coffee and my goodness it was good. It was the cookie butter* bold roast and it hit the spot. There was only one big fan blowing in there though so it was pretty warm, Of course you have the guts to get up and angle the fan towards you then that works too. It's $4 for a single and $6 for a double read more

This place is too freaking cute! After a long day at Arches, we needed a coffee before "hitting the town". I got a latte and my boyfriend got a drip coffee. The latte was delicious and the barista made sure it was perfect before we left! While waiting for my drink, I did a little shopping and ended up leaving with two locally made necklaces! I wish I ate dairy because their made to order ice cream looked SO GOOD! read more

I could not ask for a better ice cream stop than Moab Garage. After a long day of riding my motorcycle from New Mexico I stopped in Moab for lunch. Having downed a quesadilla across the street I made my way to Moab Garage for desert. I talked bikes with one of the owners while they made me a cool, refreshing chocolate milkshake. Milkshakes are hard to get perfect - but they did. When a shake is not too thick and not too runny - it's perfect. They nailed it and made my afternoon. Many times along the rest of my trip I'd think "Damn, I wish I was in Moab having another chocolate shake". read more

Cute breakfast place on Main Street. My food was delicious. I had an iced latte and the waffle with strawberries. My friends got the traditional breakfast which was a good amount of food. The only drawback is that it was very very slow, so if you are in a hurry I would not recommend. read more

Food is amazing, great prices. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and turkey. The food was so good we came back a second day again for lunch. Easy online ordering and pickup. 100% would return if in the area. And there Are cute little shops you can go to while you are waiting for your online order. read more

After traveling around the country for the last month I've come to realize the destinations aren't always what make a trip, but instead the hidden gems and people you meet along the way are what gives meaning to the journey. Moab Garage definitely shined brightly as we navigated the desert. Waking up at 4 AM to hike Arches left us craving two things; strong coffee and ice cream. Not only were we able to find the two at Moab Garage, but we endulged in in a creation only to be described as Godly; 4 shots of espresso over their chocolate peanut butter ice cream blended together similar to a milkshake. Sweet baby Jesus, YES! As we cooled off the desert vibes, we found a new friend behind the counter that became our guide to the long road home. It's rare to meet people that can instantly become a friend, and truly want to help in what ever way they can. Our new friend literally outlined the rest of our trip for us as we are just traveling like vagabonds. To top it off, she suggested the home made dog treats for our fur child, and never have I ever seen him like his lips so aggressively. People and places like Moab Garage should be landmarks on everyone's journey, and hopefully you too will recharge with new friends when you stop by. read more

I was pretty excited about this place because of all the stellar reviews. But I was totally underwhelmed. My iced latte was okay. A little bitter and kind of watery. I ordered the southwestern salad and it had so much sauce on it. It came with barbeque sauce all over it. I was pretty upset about this because I am not particularly a fan and that wasn't even in the description on the menu. I definitely would not have ordered this if I knew this was on it. It made it way too sweet and there was just way too much of it for not even being on the menu. The ice cream, however, is AMAZING. read more

This was the first time I've been to a place like this. I couldn't understand how the ice cream was made fresh- nitrogen! Crazy... wow! It seriously made a difference- that was THE BEST non-soft serve ice cream I've ever had. The place is adorable and the owner is really friendly. Definitely a must try for those visiting. read more

Place has great casual food, but especially loved the individual batch ice cream they make with liquid nitrogen while you wait. It's very popular, and great place to visit in the evening while exploring "downtown" Moab. Very friendly staff. read more

Best coffee shop in Moab! They use La Barba coffee and even sell legit Belgian liege waffles - one of the best waffles I've ever had. The owners are super friendly, they serve gelato, and also offer cool merchandise. Definitely worth a visit when you're in town. read more

Tasty treats, fast WIFI, and friendly staff! I came here to work a bit while on the road and look forward to staying until lunch. Coffee is tasty and the old fashioned donuts look yummy. I found a spot at the bar-height counter with electrical outlet near the door. There's only another couple here for this Wednesday mid-morning so it's not very loud. Speedtest 85MB down / 95MB up -- much better than my RV park's throttled speed of 1.75 down. read more

They served the eggs with a very nice bread for their toast. We almost didn't come here as we only saw the side of the building, which was a very small house looking structure. But as you continue down the street, you can see that they have expanded their restaurant to include the dining area: an "inside" area and a patio area. All of this new structure is glass or plastic windows, they have heating and cooling to accommodate for the time of day and they did a great job of making a pleasant eatery. Huevos rancheros, now I've eaten at breakfast restaurants all over the country. And lots in Mexico. This is one of the worst Rancho rancheros I've ever had. I don't normally take the time to write reviews unless I'm either thrilled or completely disappointing. This was three tortillas slapped on a plate. Sorry a metal tray. Toss cheese on. A quarter of an avocado poorly sliced a bunch of hush puppies some tortilla chips and drown it in a cheap tomato paste sauce. I didn't finish it it was not worth my stomach.
