Diners are fun. Good food in a casual ambiance and at great prices! That's exactly how this place was. We went here on our last day in Moab. We ordered the blueberry pancakes, veggie sandwich with cottage cheese and fruits and veggie omelette with a side of hash browns. There were 3 of us and we were super full after our breakfast. This place had promise, but unfortunately didn't live up b to good diner food. In short, it looks better than it tastes. Biscuits and gravy came out cold, and tasted like flavorless mush. Within 10 minites, it started to settle and condensate at the too. The shakes were good, even though one was the wrong flavor. Do not order the cinnamon roll rage for pick up. Me and my uncle are visiting Moab and we ordered two cinnamon roll rages for pick up for dessert and expected what we saw on the Yelp pictures. When we picked them up and opened the box we found one cold cinnamon roll wrapped in Saran wrap and a cup of vanilla ice cream. I like this place. It was funny seeing how all the tables were pretty much advertisements, and I enjoyed the overall 40s/50s/60s theme of the place. It was packed and busy, yet we still received our table settings, water, and menu almost immediately after we sat down. Took a bit for the server to come take orders, but once the orders were placed the food came out really quick. I got the chicken fried steak with a side of mashed potatoes and a dinner roll, and for $14 it was definitely worth the meal. read more

In all honesty, I would not have tried this diner if I had not read the reviews first. It just doesn't look like much, could definitely use an update. But the food was great! Being in a diner, we each decided to go with a burger, we split fries and a salad. It took more than a minute for our food to come out, but that's exactly what one would expect from fresh cooked. The fries were so hot we couldn't eat immediately, freshly fried. We were pleased with our choices. Staff couldn't have been nicer. A charming 50 style diner right in the middle of downtown Moab! I had the fish and chips which included four pieces of halibut with fries and I also got a side of their delicious green chili it was amazing! I've been all over and had lots of orders of fish and chips but only in London did they offer halibut on the menu I can't believe they have halibut in Moab! Had my third meal that week at the Moab Diner. The first was a open face roast beef with their green chili sauce. It was very good. The second lunch was a Open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, it was ok by nothing special. Had breakfast today, Green chili omelette that was very good! After a hike at Arches National Park, I came here before dinner hour, and it was actually quite packed; especially since Moab is a tourist town. We were seated right away, and the servers were quick on giving our drinks. They offer a 'Diner's Deluxe and a shake' which is a standard cheeseburger with your choice of milkshake (for $12) but instead I decided on the Miner's Mushroom burger and side of french fries. The mushrooms were sautéed well, and the garnish were fresh. It's not the greatest burger I ever had, but for diner food, it was tasty. I also ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake milkshake, and it caught me by surprise. It was thick, creamy, and had bits of cheesecake-graham cracker chunks. I do recommend getting their dessert, as they have a wide variety of ice cream flavors. Moab's Diner is a must to stop by if you happen to be in the town of Moab! read more

We ate here twice while visiting Moab, and both times had a seriously good breakfast. It is a really cute little 50's style diner (Think Johnny Rockets). On both visits it is quite busy, but take note they're closed on Sunday. I liked my green chile omelette so much that I ordered it on both days. It had bacon, cheeses and the most amazing green chile. I was a little bit chicken and had them put the Chile on the side, but not necessary because it was well flavored and delicious. Not too spicy at all. My husband stuck with his normal order of pancakes with eggs and sausage. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. I would come back here just for that chile. read more

What a great place to eat in Moab! Everything we've tried was super delicious and reasonably priced: I really recommend their breakfast skillets, I had their classic one which was just under $8. My boyfriend ordered the "Red Rocket" chicken sandwich with a side of chili soup that tasted amazing as well. Our server, Jose, was really friendly and the service was super fast, unlike at all the other restaurants in the Moab area. I wish I didn't have to leave so I could come back to Moab Diner to try our some more of their food! read more

I can't speak on the food because we left before we were able to try it. We were sat quickly but never had a server come to us. We got the attention of the man who sat us and he shrugged us off. Another young lady was clearing a table so I asked her if we were to order at the counter. She confirmed that a server would be with us shortly. I saw the man who sat us sitting at a table with other servers. She went to the table and asked who was serving us. When nobody answered, she also sat down with them and joined the conversation. Excellent small diner located on the main drag in the southern part of the town of Moab. Serves mostly diner fast food, like burgers and shakes. However they do have some typical diner fare entrees. You can also get breakfast there any time. Service was pretty fast and the food was tasty. One odd thing is that the restrooms are outside. If it's raining and your standing in line to use the one holer, that would be pretty unpleasant. read more
