From the moment I arrived at the center, the staff was friendly and accommodating to all of my needs. Taylor was first and foremost concerned for the safety of all occupants in the raft. Can't wait to do this again. Signed up for a Hummer ride for Sliprock and Safari. Craig was our driver. I have to admit we didn't know what we were getting into. Off road really means off road. We went over boulders, rocks, and deep sand. I have never been so jostled and bounced around in my life. This is a very thrilling ride and not for the faint of heart. Craig is very experienced and knowledgeable about the area and was very informative on the native plants and dinosaur tracks. This was so much fun I can't wait to get back to Moab so I can do this again. read more

This review is for the Jeep Wrangler rental! Highly recommend checking out this option for doing some off roading in the area. We considered doing guided tours, but decided on exploring on our own with our two boys, ages 9 and 6, since they aren't necessarily into a long guided tour experience. The jeep we rented from the Moab Adventure Center was the perfect choice! The staff was very friendly and helpful, assisting us with finding the perfect trail for us, and the jeep was really nice and comfortable. What a fantastic adventure!! If you ever get a chance to go to Moab, please include this on your must do list. The scenery was awesome and our driver Mike was very nice and made sure all of us had an enjoyable time. Mike was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. He answered all questions asked. He alone is worth five stars. We interacted quite a bit with Chuck, the driver of the other vehicle and he was great, he even made reservations for us for dinner. I can't say enough about how incredible our vacation experience was bc ofthis business. We booked a mountain biking tour with them and our guide Brian was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Moab and he provided us with a fun but safe day. We encountered a little hiccup due to one of our bookings not having enough people to do the paddle boarding we had originally scheduled however they went above and beyond to rectify the situation. They were genuinely apologetic and made the situation right and we even went on a rafting tour with them the following day. Our guide Mya was fantastic!! It was also her birthday and her last day before she returned back to BYU for her first day of school. We found Moab Adventure Center professional, prompt, and fun. We enjoyed the Hummer ride and white water rafting with this company. Both were amazing because of our guides - Craig and George for the Hummer ride and Aaron for the rafting. All 13 of us (from a 79 year old to a 5 year old) had a blast on the Hummer ride which provided thrills going up large flat rolling rock hills and zipping through the soft sand areas. Craig and George not only expertly drove us on the Hummers but they also shared their expertise about Moab, the land and geology, and native plant uses. A few days later most of us went on the raft ride that didn't disappoint. Aaron was our guide and he made us feel safe and provided us opportunities to take a dip in the river and experience some exciting level 2-3 rapids. These two activities were surely the highlights of our trip to Moab!! read more

Hannah was our guide for a very relaxing float down the Colorado River, and she was amazing. This time of year, there's not a lot of excitement on the river but it was a very fun day, nonetheless. Our morning tour of Arches was fabulous and a big part of that was due to our guide Kim! Having worked in Arches and other national parks before as a ranger, Kim was incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much without it feeling like overkill and she made the tour we did of the arches incredibly engaging. She shared a lot of facts and history about the park that we never would've learned otherwise. My mom and I could've talked to her for hours and even the next day when we went to Canyonlands kept saying we wish we had Kim's knowledge with us! We took a jeep tour through the Island of the Sky part of Canyonlands National Park, and the experience was absolutely epic for our family of four. We covered so much terrain: seeing petroglyphs, Thelma and Louise Point, White Rim road, Musselman Arch, and Dead Horse Point. Wow, just for back from the 3-hour sunset Hummer tour with our sensational driver and tour guide, Chad! This tour is worth every penny and won't disappoint! There were hairpin turns, narrow trails overlooking major drop-offs and breath-taking views! There was lots of other trail riders, so part of the excitement is watching the Jeeps, earth buggies and motorcyclists take on the craters, boulders and skinny trails! This tour makes about 3 stops to get out and sightsee, take pictures, etc. One of the stops near the end of the tour is to watch the sunset. Chad provided an assortment of snacks (Rice Krispy bars, etc.) to enjoy at this 15-20 minute stops. The tour company provides souvenir water bottles at the beginning of the excursion. The hummer carries huge jug of water on the back to refill your bottle during the trip. I wish I could give this company and excursion more than 5 stars! I think Hummer tour of the Moab mountains is the funnest thing I've ever done! Got out of my comfort zone and experienced one of nature's treasures! What a great experience we had in Moab because of the Moab Adventure Center. From booking our trip to day 6 we enjoyed every moment. From pick ups to each experience the fun grew and grew! Moab Adventure Center employs exceptional people!!! Day 1 we arrived and settled into the hotel. Day 2 we did the White Water rafting 1/2 day with Bengi, what a guy. So nice and helpful kept us engaged, educated us and had some funny jokes too. Day 3 we did the Hummer tour with Chad, this guy was GREAT! We got to see what a hummer can do! Chad made the whole tour fun and exciting, always keeping us on our toes and laughing. Day 3 Evening we did the Arches tour with Kim, what a knowledgeable gal she was exceptional! The tour was stunning.We've seen some beautiful places but Moab is distinctly unique and amazing. Day 4 we did zip lining and loved Bobby and two gals (we forgot there names) Each of these people were professional, and fun we had never done something like this and they made us feel safe and secure zip lining hundreds of feet in the air. What a freeing experience we had with this team. Day 5 we did rock climbing with Chris and Sam, these two made this an adventure of its own. Both of them were incredibly knowledgable and professional. They taught us about rock climbing, the gear, and gave us helpful tips. Chris and Sam made this an experience of a lifetime for my husband and I (43+ yr of age) and our 17 year old son. We laughed, we learned and we conquered that mountain. We did crack climbing, and slab climbing... crimping, hand jabs and edging all the way up. They found the perfect spot for us and were happy to teach us. We knew we were in great hands Chris and Sam were very carful to explain this craft with such ease and we had a BLAST! Day 6 was our final day and we did canyoneering (repelling) with Georgie and Sid these gals were kind, and funny they were exceptionally confident and that put us all at ease. We all were pretty frightened must admit but by the first repel we felt confident and comfortable! We could not stop talking about how great the staff was and each adventure. My 17 year old son loved every minute of this trip and that made it extra special for my husband and I. Moab is a MUST see and the Moab Adventure Center team made it one of the best vacations we've ever had. read more

Can't say enough good things about this tour business, from the moment we spoke on the phone until after our last outing, they were so accommodating and friendly. We did the Hummer Sunset tour with Chad and had a blast. Be warned that Chads tour is not for the faint of heart! If you have time for only one tour - do the half-day rafting because the tour stops at a swanky riverside resort for a delicious buffet lunch. Moab Adventures is the only rafting group that offers the hot meal on the river. HJ was an outstanding and entertaining river guide. MA contracted out our mountain bike tour and our guide, Lowell was fantastic. After the ride he drove us to the petroglyphs and explained lots about the wildlife. read more
