When he didn't show up at the agreed on time, I messaged and later he said he was held up on a job which was far away (didn't bother to let me know he couldn't make our appointment) but he could be here in the afternoon. I said OK, but that's cutting it short because I had to leave in the late afternoon. He didn't bother to ask me my address until he was leaving that job, which I didn't see that text for a half hour. By then it was clear he wasn't going to make it by the time I had to leave, so I said let's make it for another day and asked what day worked for him. No response. I asked the next day if he wanted to reschedule, no response again. Guess you're too busy for me. Fine. I won't use you for this project or any other, nor recommend you to my neighbors, friends or family.

I had hired another guy that did a horrible job attempting to install my new gate but had to stop him as he was damaging the concrete mounted posts and had no experience. But lucky enough Abe the owner of Level Up was referred and his expertize was exactly what my project needed. He concrete mounted my new gate and fence. Abe and his crew made sure it was straight, secure and installed correctly. His skills had him modify some metal brackets to secure the gate and upgraded some bolts and screws to much heavy duty versions for better reliabitly. He was dealing with sloaped concrete which made our project more challenging to make it look level and straight. We could not be happier with the result. I only wish I met him earlier. Abe was fast with response and availabity. He was extremely professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. He cleaned up the site and even took it apon himself to remove all the old fence, trash and boxes from the jobsite. Really going up and above expectations. They refused to find a solution stating that they were not going to take back wood they couldn't resell. I purchased approximately $3000 worth of hardwood. Initially the customer service was good when they were trying to sell me on the wood. I took their advice in selecting which kind of wood based on the project I described. They delivered the wood with missing pieces. They said they were going to call me to deliver later. About a month went by and they never called so I had to go pick up the wood myself. When it came time for install, my installers noted the wood was severely warped, and the width of the wood was not even. I tried to be flexible and fair but JW Lumber refused to make things right in any way. Attached are some pictures, the fence looks worst in person. I'll be making a sign for my busy corner lot to tell people not to buy from this place.

Johnny was very flexible because my needs changed between approving the quote and the scheduled install. Cruz and Enrique performed the install. I received a text about 45 minutes before they arrived. They walked the project with me and kept me in the loop when a few minor things popped up, so we could decide how to move forward in a way that worked for me.
