The Positives * Communication & Speed: They were quick to respond, quick to get us on the schedule, and finished the installation very fast. * Pricing & Reputation: Their quote was fair and in line with other estimates I received. I ultimately chose them because I recognized the brand and had seen their work around the neighborhood. * Customer Support: When I reached out regarding issues after the job, they responded quickly and sent a different installer out to fix one of the issues. The Negatives * Damaged Materials: Many vinyl pieces arrived scratched up because they were transported loose in the back of the installer's truck, sliding around in dirt and debris. * Rough Site Cleanup: I had carefully cleared all the rocks away from the old fence so they could work easily and replace the rocks afterward. Because the crew rushed, they did a poor job spreading the rock back out, leaving obvious bare dirt patches despite there being plenty of rock. There were tons of vinyl shavings from the installation that are all over the yard. * Property Damage: Concrete was dripped onto my decorative walkway pavers, which I still haven't been able to remove. * Missed Instructions: I specifically asked them not to connect the new fence to my neighbor's existing fence, but they did it anyway. Follow-Up & Final Verdict To their credit, Alpine Fence sent a second technician who replaced the scratched rails, posts, and gate, and fixed a gate installation error. However, they completely ignored the concrete on my decorative pavers, the rock landscaping issue, and the improper connection to the neighbor's fence. They get the job done quickly and stand by their customer service to an extent, but the rushed workmanship and damage to surrounding property keep this at a 3-star review.

My system is from 2010, and I was not looking for an upsell on the unit. I sent him a couple of pictures, and he stated that he had a couple of the pulleys in stock. He had Melissa (A very friendly and knowledgeable lady) call me to provide the cost breakdown. The service price was a standard $230 (everyone else I called was in the same range), but the parts cost is what won my business, only costing $30 per pulley. All the other companies were charging between $130 and $180 for the part; some others even stated it could take a week to replace the pulleys. As I mentioned earlier, with the gate being down, time is crucial, and this is where the company earns such a great review. They were able to get Nick over the property within the hour. Nick knows what he is doing; the unit looks clean. I felt comfortable going back to work and letting him complete the repair.
