When our double door arrived, it was missing a hole, which was understandably concerning, but they immediately arranged for Alex to come out and fix it. A week later we had a signed contract for the whole thing -- kitchen, flooring, windows -- and at no point did it feel like we'd been sold. It felt like we'd finally made a decision we'd been putting off for years. Ivan ran the job. He was on site, in control, and easy to deal with the entire time. He told us what was happening each day and it happened. His crew showed up on time, kept the house clean, and treated the place like it was theirs. The result: a kitchen we actually use now! We've worked with a lot of contractors over the years. This is the first one we'd hand our keys to again without thinking about it.

Step 1 was to take measurements and view the different types of turf options. Step 2 We sent some pictures of ideas we liked from other homes in the neighborhood. Jason was able to use the AI tools to generate a picture of what it would look like. That was really cool. Step 3 was the quote and initial deposit. They came out the following week and got it all done over 1 1/2 days. The workers dug up the old sod, laid the weed barrier, put down the decomposed granite, laid the turf and rock border, and had the yard looking amazing in a very short period of time. They worked non stop to get it done quickly. I have received multiple compliments from neighbors. including my next door neighbor who went with a cheaper company and wished he had went with Best Choice Home Remodeling instead. David and his team at Action Window & Door are - simply put - AMAZING…read more I have no clue what any of these 1 star reviews are about. It is completely unfair to give a company a 1-star when a business replies with an answer you don't like - all it does is skew the rating on here and make *you* look bad - not the business. Anyway, rant over! I used Action Window for replacing my front door that was very beat up from being south facing in Lemon Grove and the previous home owner's 130 pound mastiff scratching and jumping all over it. It took a little bit of coordination to get everything finally ordered and installed, but that was on me as we were going pretty custom with the job. Come install day, the team was in and out in 3.5 hours and did a really amazing job. There was one tiny blemish that we overlooked, and David had it fixed the next day, and came out a few days later to do a final hands-on inspection. The price was super reasonable, and *way better* than anything that Home Depot or Lowe's quoted me. David and Dee and everyone there are really great and I would love to continue using them in the future.

We are so glad she did because we could not be happier with the service and results. From the very first moment we contacted them, they answered quickly and got us an appointment for an estimate. Chuck came out and explained everything thoroughly, measured, and gave a fair price. He was so knowledgeable, answered every question, and knew how to describe everything so that we could understand. It was almost like having an old friend over - that's how friendly and approachable he was. No hard selling, no pressure at all. All the windows are made to order - so Chuck told is it could take 6 weeks. But, they were done within 3 weeks - so we were very pleasantly surprised. Dimitry came to do the installation. He did three windows in three hours, and did them so incredibly well. Additionally, he cleaned up so thoroughly that you couldn't even tell that windows were replaced. He treated the job like it was being done in his own house; that's the level of craftsmanship and professionalism he showed. The transformation was remarkable - and the quality of the product is outstanding. The new windows keep out heat and light, and will last a very, very long time! For anyone hesitating to replace windows because of fear of the process, this company is for you. Nothing bad about our experience; quite the opposite. We are thrilled with the final result and would definitely use them again.

I'm writing this review as the installers from Pelican are removing my old, louvered windows (1 x…read morekitchen, 1 x bathroom, and 4 x loft) and replacing them with Milgard V250 Style Line® Series replacements. First - I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the way Pelican handled the scheduling of the install - or rather, bungled. The crew arrived at my home this morning just after 8:00 am with no warning at all. Surprise! It turns out their scheduler sent an email July 18 with notice of intent to install to a fancifully incorrect email address. And, when they received no response from me (and why would they?), no one at Pelican deemed it prudent to follow up with a phone call. Fire and forget? 2 stars. The process to set this up was painless. Their sales/frontman (Isael) paid 2 visits, took careful measurements, explained my options and was a total professional. Not the least bit pushy. 5 stars. OK - on to the install. In a word - slick. The 3-man crew was efficient and from what I can tell (pics attached) did a very nice job removing the old, and installing the new. Again, very professional and respectful of my home, its contents, and my time. No fuss, no muss. The whole process for 6 windows was over and done in 4 hours. Again, 5 stars. The end result - no more drafty louvered windows, replaced with energy efficient, double glazed, argon gas filled windows. I'm pleased with the result, and recommend Pelican as a first stop when shopping for replacement windows.
