I was looking around for a place that could install an aux in my bmw. The reviews for this shop were great so I called and talked with Minh. He was great. Very straightforward and let me know my car has an OEM part that could be ordered and installed. Saved me a lot of time having to figure out the easiest way to get an aux hookup for my car. He also does great work with auto tint. I ended up having him do all the tint and audio work for my car. Price was very fair and everything turned out like id hoped! Privately owned business by Minh. He's been in the car audio/alarm/tint for 15 years so he should know his stuff. And knowing, he proved. I needed a thorough rewire and my viper alarm checked correctly. This difficult job pretty much took up the entire day. And when I returned, all wires were neatly tucked inside panels/covers/amplifier. He also replaced all parts /wires/fuses, in addition to tuning the entire system. My unoperating tweeters now work and provides more sound in the cabin. My alarm used to go off shortly after arming, and he fixed this problem. My car has yet have gone off. Minh has a philosophy "if you want things done right, you have to do it yourself." His expertise, attention to details, and refusal to not make shortcuts were pretty much why I chose him to touch my car. Overall, I like the way he structured his operation of business. While he did an exceptional job, there are areas for improvements in my opinion. Disclaimer: these are all my opinion and they can provoke a sense of contention. 1. Upselling- like any other audio shop, he make profits through heavy advertising and surcharging service in my case. Solution: being a serious customer, i expect anyone working on my car to cut the upselling tactics and get straight down to the details of what to do. Parts install, the quality and brand of them, plan of attack, back up plan, thickness of wires, type of rcas, fuses, etc. all of which should be disclose from the very beginning. 2. Unprofessionalism- he advocates through a tone mixture of slang and slur words. Solution: it brings a higher level of assurance to know whoever can not only give immaculant return to the demand of the customers but also to present to them an ambience of professionalism. The front passenger door speaker was broken on my 2010 Toyota Camry. I brought it in and Minh replaced both front door speakers, so that they matched. The stereo sounds great. It was cheaper than what Toyota would have charged to replace the one speaker. I highly recommend ML Audio. read more

This place rocks! I recently got a used car because my car blew up. I needed window tinting and a better sound system (stock audio just doesn't cut it for me). I've been looking around for a legit place to get my car install with what I needed and after a few quotes from around Sacramento, I found ML Audio. I also saw the yelp reviews and decided to go for it. When I arrived, I was greeted by Minh and he hooked me up with a deal to install my audio (I took my old audio system from my old car and wanted him to put it in my new car) and window tinting. I was tight on time for that week and wanted to see if I can get this done quick. Surprisingly, I it done the next morning and Minh came in an hour early (he opens at 9am) to received my car. After work, I came back to see my car tinted out and audio professionally hooked up. Minh did an awesome job and my car was super dirty too (looked like I went off road and into a pile of mud). The tint also has a lifetime warranty. My audio was that I had him install were decent and I had him replace the stock speakers with some cheap ones. I got what I wanted for a great deal (we all love cash, so consider it and Minh will hook you up too) and my car currently look sweet. After about a week, I came back. There nothing wrong, but my speakers sucks because I put in some cheap ones (duh..). Minh also mentioned how he was the only authorized seller of Digital Design audio. I did some research before coming back and decided to have Minh, once again, upgrade my speakers to some DD audio ones. Although I only changed the rear speakers, they sounded niiiicccccceeeeeeee and clear. I ask him to hook me up for a future appointment to change my front speakers and (maybe some tweeters) and an amp (all from DD audio) to power those bad boys up. I can't wait for those to be installed and I recommend them to anyone who wants some of the best quality sound around (DD audio has ratings better than high end audio like JL Audio). Overall, my experience was the best and well worth the money. I could have spent it at another place for a cheaper price, but Minh's services was speedy and excellent. The place is surrounded by a somewhat ghetto area, but it wasn't bad at all. I am already sending my sisters and their cars his way for window tinting too. ML Audio is one of the best audio places around and the only one to supply competition DD Audio, so go check it out for some bad a$$ sound. read more

I have to give it up to these guys, Minh saved the day. I was completely pissed how another so called professional car stereo installation spot did a shoddy job a month prior. Not only was he and the crew able to go behind what the previous shop did wrong and totally fix the wiring and fix all the door speakers that were not installed correctly which damaged my tint, but they also installed new DD Audio tweeters, (that sound awesome) which I have never heard of since being out of the loop so long, and were 1/4 the price of the previous ones I purchased that blew out in a week. The install and repair work was fast, FRIENDLY and very inexpensive in comparison to where I had been. Thanks guys a whole hell of a lot. read more

I suggest calling before dropping in because it's a one man show or it was the day I was there and by no surprise he was pretty busy. You can tell he's a straight up guy and he did a great job on installing my car stereo. I would recommend going to him. As far as pricing goes, I would say he has competitive prices and I'd much rather give him my business than to some big box store.
