Absolutely loved the food and customer service. I came here for lunch one day and got the bento box and an extra sushi roll because I was starving. They have my favorite drink there which is Ramune. Check this spot out!

First time going and will definitely come again! I went in the afternoon on a weekday before they got dark and it was pretty empty. They sat me by the window. The tables are big. You can see them making sushi fresh. They have plenty options of sushi, appetizers, and other options of seafood food you can get. Their drinking menu is a wide variety of sakes, including cans and imported beers.

Sushi was on par for expectations, the bento box was good. Gyoza were good as well, service was okay and restaurant was cute. Over all a decent lunch spot.

Me and gf Spent ~$50 for a sake and enough sushi/sashimi to feel full. Service was good. The ambience was cool.

I absolutely enjoy Miyabi's! The dining room is clean and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable of the menu. The food is made to order. The sushi is good for the price point. The teriyaki is the best in my opinion. Parking is a hassle in Main Street, however there are parking lots nearby. would highly recommend for lunch time or date night spot .. very subtle and relaxed. I have utilized the online ordering service which is easy and 123. This is a must try, thank me later!!

I got takeout, so I guess this will be limited to just the food I got Amazing--- I loved it. Everything tasted so fresh and was a bang for my buck. Finding vegetarian sushi that's not just an avocado roll is so rare. the rolls were delicious, the miso soup was comforting, tempura was crunchy and then juicy inside. No notes!

Miyabi used to be my favorite spot in Richmond for sushi. I'm not sure what happened in recent years (could just be their takeout vs in person food), but the quality isn't as good as I remember. I love their beaver roll and dragon roll. I think you need to dine in for the sushi to be good. My recent trips have been takeout and weren't as good as I remember. The service here is good. The space is a bit dark, but if you're by a window it's good. It's in a convenient location, not too far from the bus. I haven't gotten their seaweed salad in a while, but remember liking it in the past. My recent "visits" were delivery and then pickup. If I was in the area, I would go in person to see if it's just takeout that's made it different.

There was street parking available and a parking lot a few blocks away. The staff was friendly and quick. They gave everyone soup which was really flavorful and ginger salad which was fine. We ordered chicken roll and shrimp tempura rolls. Both were good. Nice size and good flavor. I ordered the chicken katsu with the curry sauce on the side and it was really good. The other people at my table got various versions of the hibachi grill....shrimp, chicken, and steak. They said the chicken and steak was over cooked and rubbery. They said it didn't taste fresh. Everyone said their food tasted cold and like it was reheated and not made fresh to order. My vegetables were a little undercooked and cold.

Dined in with a friend while she waited to board train at the local Amtrak Station. I ordered the Veggie Pad Thai and Veggie Spring rolls. It was my first time trying Pad Thai and it was very good & flavorful. I would order again. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside but I didn't like the flavor of the veggie inside. They were a little mushy too. Sat at the bar so it was really cool watching the sushi chefs make different rolls while I ate. I think this spot is what you would expect. Not over the top. Very chill with fair food.

Delicious! We had sushi and hibachi and both were large portions and felt authentic. This is small spot on East Main Street in Richmond and I would definitely recommend. They have great lunch specials on sushi as well. We got a crab tempura appetizer that was fresh and crisp. The ginger dressing on the house salads was some of best we've ever had. My parter got one of the deluxe sushi entrees and found it filling. My chicken hibachi was plentiful and I was actually able to have left overs for lunch for two days! We will definitely be back.

Every time I come here I am greeted with friendly service, consistent quality, and a nice atmosphere. This is the kind of place where you can satisfy your sushi cravings with an affordable lunch or a spectacular dinner. I highly recommend you try the wasabi roll and their crab rangoons.

Yelp had a coupon! Sweet. Parking is not on premises. The sushi was fresh, and the vibe was perfect to go to for lunch. The server was new, and she was very attentive. Tempura was tender, fresh and tasty. Clear soup was savory like a meal. Spicy salmon and spicy tuna are my suggested faves! Go.. go... go...

I went basic with OMG roll and a Shrimp tempura roll, and it was tasty. So I added to my order, my favorite salmon-skin hand roll (no eel sauce). This order was firing on cylinders, big shrimpin' spending cheese!! My order was at my table quick. This spot reminds me of a L.A. Little Tokyo spot, quaint and small. Table service is on point, water refills happened. This place is a go for fly!!

We started with incredible oysters- I'm not a huge oyster person, but these really stood out, especially the seasonal mignonette. We ended up ordering another two because we liked them so much! Our favorite dish of the night was the Nashville hot shrimp- great heat level and flavor, they were perfectly crispy and paired so well with the house pickles and white BBQ sauce they were served with. We could've easily taken down another plate of these. They had a tomato hand pie special that we also really enjoyed, as well as the crab hush puppies. We liked our entrees (swordfish and the smash burger, which wasn't really a smash burger but was still a solid burger), but enjoyed the small plates much more. We ended with the white chocolate budino, which is a pretty generous portion and was SO tasty- it came with a ton of brownie chunks and cocoa nibs! Service was really friendly from everyone there. My only critique is it is LOUD inside, so be prepared to speak up. We'd definitely return if we were back in the area!

Noise level can be challenging so we try to go in the early side when possible. Went for our anniversary in during Richmond restaurant week in October (they gave us a complimentary glass of bubbly to celebrate) and again with the kids in December. They always have amazing cocktails. Their mixologist is on their game with so many choices! For our anniversary, we got Cloud Boat and Apartment in the City, and we loved them both. Both were completely as described, light and ez in the palate which is a skill for whiskey. For apps we got the PEI mussels and the smoked fish dip. Again both were delicious. I particularly love my fish dip - the groom focaccia was done beautifully in the dill was a nice compliment to the flavor. For entrées, we had the catfish sandwich and the Arctic char. The catfish sandwich was good, but nowhere near the quality of the Arctic char, which was savory and delicious and elevated by the brown butter and golden raisins. Since it was restaurant week the dessert was included in the price so we got the apple cranberry fry pie And the chocolate ganache bar. Both were a nice way to end the meal. Tasty but not mind blowing. With the kids we ordered Gnac attack, Proper Dose, American Love Call, and Bebot. Again they were all so good but for me the Proper Dose and Gnac attack were the best. For apps we got the fish dip and one of the specials and loved them both. Entrees were the Spanish mackerel, the arctic char and a special that was a gumbo and rice. We ate everything and had no room for dessert. Can't wait to go back.

Sadly when we came in Wednesday night at 9 PM, we were told they were only serving drinks at that time. I emailed the restaurant and was informed that on most nights, they indeed close the kitchen and only serve drinks after 9 PM, but that on weekends they'll keep the kitchen open longer. I'm so glad we came back on our last day of the trip. It was a Thursday night at 7:45 PM and pretty full. Thankfully, there were some seats at the bar which we preferred anyways since you got to watch the oysters get shucked right in front of you. We ordered the bread service, and though it said house cultured butter OR whipped beef tallow, our kind server made sure to ask if we wanted one or both (the answer was both, of course!). We also got 4 Virginia oysters (appreciate not being forced to order in increments of 6 or 12), chargrilled oysters, and "dessert tonight" which ended up being the most perfect chocolate cake (I think it was describe as something else, but my memory fails me) with a white chocolate ganache-like topping and pistachios *swoon*. I tried the wine of the day which was an orange wine that it was a nice not-too-sweet, not too dry wine. I'd recommend it with a pasta or fish. Our server (didn't catch his name but he had a nice brown sweater and a beanie, receipt says Taylor so maybe that's his name?) was so nice! Great vibes all around from the interior to the bathroom to the service. Would definitely come back.

I have tried it prepared many ways and here it was both tender and flavorful, really done well. Shrimp cocktail is usually pretty basic, but often the simplest dishes demonstrate the most skill. This is truly one of the best I have ever had. The shrimp were plump and flavorful. Their cooking stopped at just the right time leaving a slight bit of translucent hue, but still cooked through.
