They have music playing but it is subtle, adds nicely to the ambiance and is not too loud. The food was very good. We got there before happy hour so we were able to order a couple of glasses of decent house wines for $6.00 a glass and shared an appetizer of crispy chicken lettuce bites. For entrees my husband had an 8 oz. prime rib special. It was so good. cooked as he had requested it. One of the better prime ribs that we've tasted and it was only $30.00 as a Sunday special. I had the lamb loin that was also very good. Service was also very good. Our server, Stella was so busy but she checked on us regularly to ensure that we were well taken care of. It is so nice when you go to a restaurant and it exceeds your expectations. This has the vibe of a fine dining restaurant with the décor, the muted background music, the service and the food. I told the server it was my friend's birthday and I wanted something special for her. Last time I ordered creme brûlée and they put sparklers on it and "happy birthday" with icing sugar.
