Bento box

The food was yummy as usual! The fried veggies were kind of hard still.. I always get the bento box. This restaurant is reasonably priced with honest good food! For my entree I get the ginger beef it's so good!! Our server was very nice!

Great little hidden spot in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Good food my little one enjoyed the kids plate came in a little train.

We weren't expecting a decent Japanese restaurant around here but Mix Pacific Rim was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly and they were very efficient even though they had line forming out the door. We tried several of our favorites (see photos). The sashimi was fresh, and food had good flavor. The tempura had nice thin tempura batter with perfect crunch. Ginger beef was delicious. We will return to try their ramen next time. Highly recommend!!

4.5 stars if I could. The service was great, and steered us toward both the yellowtail appetizer (she added the fish was from Japan) and the salmon sashimi. Both were very tender and cut properly to allow the fish to melt away in your mouth. We also had a few rolls. I was skeptical of the Las Cruses roll, and it turned out to be one of our favorites. I NEVER order rolls that don't contain a fish, but the Las Cruses was flavorful and worthy of a repeat. We will be back.

Amazing service, delicious food at a great price. The ambiance is peaceful and nice. The owner is so sweet and they have friendly servers.

Yakisoba Noodle Lunch

I enjoy eating here however, I came in on a Monday at lunchtime. Wrong timing for an old fart reconnoitering . I wanted Yakisoba noodles and ordered. The special of the day was ramen and they apparently used ramen noodles in place of soba noodles. I got the beef added. Very tasty. Wrong choice for a toothless wonder though. I got it as a carry out finally and brought it home and cooked the food more thoroughly so I could chew the lightly sautéd vegetables that were in the dish originally. I made the mistake of ordering Vietnamese style spring rolls. They are okay but not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. The menu said crab meat which is imitation crab meat. Overall the spring rolls were underwhelming. Mostly lettuce and imitation crab and zero rice noodles. Vietnamese Spring rolls should consist of some vegetables and carrot matchsticks and rice noodles with shrimp wrapped in rice paper not copious amounts of lettuce and imitation crab wrapped in rice paper. The saving grace was the dipping sauce. It was the real deal. When I've gone in before, I've always gotten a Bento Box. I've come to the conclusion that I should stick with ordering Bento Boxes or ramen. The service was just fine however, the seating is limited and lunch is busy. I thought about ordering a roll of some kind from the sushi list. That's probably a better alternative to spring rolls. I like the food and it's good. Today though, I made some choices I kind of regret. The servers were attentive and it's a nice place to eat. My experience today was what I would refer to as user error. Nothing to do with the restaurant itself except for the non-authentic Vietnamese spring rolls. Actually, I ended up throwing a 18 dollar meal in the garbage can. That's just me though. This is the first time eating here that it was basically inedible for me. I'll stick to the Bento boxes.

Ramen is not that good, but it's not like there are many options for such food in Las Cruces.

The ginger beef bento box is perfection. Tempura onions must be tried as well as the other veggies.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert. We regret that we will probably never get to eat here again.

I have been down here for the last two months for work, checking out various restaurants in the area and I randomly thought to myself, I've not had any Texas-based Ramen just yet. The service was great, I was helped as soon as I walked in the clean establishment. The prices of the food were great and the quality was superb. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to get their Ramen fix here in West Texas. I had the flavorful Mandu fried dumplings, Gom Ramen Spice level 2 and a Hot Yuja. I love the flavor and the freshness of both dishes. I will definitely be back to visit next time I am in town.

I remember when this place was DGs deli, back in the olden days, and it has really been stripped down. At one point during the cooking there was a huge puff of oily smoke that made one of the four of us have to go outside to get some fresh air. The food was better than I feared it might be. The two diners who had Pho really enjoyed it and their fried egg rolls. My husband wolfed down his entire plate of tofu pad thai. Why was the pad thai orange colored, an orange never seen in nature? I don't know. I had chicken pad thai. In retrospect, the tofu would have been a safer choice. Because even though the chicken was very thinly sliced, I got a few bites that seemed a drop undercooked. You know that yikes-this-is-chicken-sushi flavor? That. So I just ate around the chicken and hoped for the best. The entire front end of the restaurant is run by one middle-aged man who works the register and serves as the waiter and busboy too. So when they are slammed it can be a few minutes until you order, but the food came fast.

As a Chinese person, it's consider decent to get away from the usual chow fun you get in Chinatown. The eggroll was okay. The ambiance was quite sad there. A bit run down restaurant that it looks like it's holding to its last leg but it's a strong last leg lol. Service was a hit or miss type. The guy was too busy watching the World Cup so didn't really attention to us. You pay up front when you finish your food. He doesn't bring the check to you.

Pan fried dumplings : small, odd shape, served flipped tupside down apparently directly from the pan, and not all that crispy. BBQ pork Bao: split on top, way too soft (and wrong) texture Spicy Sichuan soup - this was easily the best dish but it's made with lemongrass ?? that's a Thai thing. An unusual but delicious tweak. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I were disappointed with what was brought to the table. While the portion sizes and cost-per-plate were very nice, the flavor seemed to miss. * Our Sesame Chicken just tasted like orange chicken with a bunch of sesame seeds on it * Xiao long baos were weirdly tangy? * SumSam dumplings were good in taste overall, but the dumpling wrapper fell apart very quickly when being picked up and the filling kept falling out. Our favorite dish we ordered though * Pork BBQ Bao was also good in flavor, but the bao felt a bit starchy and was hard to chew at times. Additionally when we arrived, the floors were sticky, the sauce jars at the table did not look recently cleaned, and there was still residual food under our table from previous patrons.
