Took over twenty minutes to get served, and the poor sap whos cheesesteak was made first came out cold. The rest of the food was great. But this was a lunch break people! The sides are pre packaged, and theres no reason a couple sandwiches and a burger should take so long , especially AFTER the lunch rush in an empty diner. Organization Mity Nice! Focus. One patron had to wait for ten minutes just to buy a brownie! Because none of the staff knew how to ring it up? I hate to sound bitter . The food was ok but it was extremely off putting for the woman in the back to be loudly complaining the whole time about being short staffed. And how she couldn't get it all done, complaining about employees, etc. Being short staffed is frustrating but no reason to make your customers feel like an inconvenience. If I could give this place a big fat zero I would. I ordered a Cuban today. Since I am a native to the area I know what a Cuban sandwich is supposed to be. What I got was the soggiest mass of mush I have ever seen. I was so mad I forgot to take a picture. It had a scant couple pieces of supermarket packaged ham and salami. I asked for lettuce and tomato to be added. Well the owner claimed she knew it would make my sandwich soggy! Well like I told her I am a native and have been ordering my sandwiches the same way for over 40 years. I have never gotten a soggy Cuban from Moreno's Bakery, Bracoto's, Silver Ring etc. yet she continued to argue with me. NEVER EVER will I go there again! The only up side, the fries were ok. The women working there were rude and unfriendly when we walked in. The place was empty and they didn't even say hi or smile. Then we ordered and it took 30 minutes to get a tuna sandwich and a turkey wrap... we were literally the only people in there. First time visiting today. There was 4 of us for lunch. I ordered the Old Broadway with a side of pasta salad. The sandwich was great, pasta salad was ok. My husband had the Amore and added cole slaw on the sandwich, also great. My adult son had the Philly cheesesteak and said "the bread was fantastic, good amount of cheese and juicy meat". His GF had the Cali wrap and said there was too much lettuce, the bacon was similar to Bac-O's, the avocado was hard to find but the chicken was good, just not enough of it. Overall a good visit. Not disappointed. Stopped by based on reviews and left happy. Enjoyed the "Hurricane" sandwich. Starting with the crunchy exterior of the cuban bread. Once inside its a warm, melty medley of turkey, ham, roast beef and bacon with provolone and a delightful bacon mayo. The red onions add a nice kick. Good size samy. Buddy had soup and salad. We got there at 10:30 after they broke down all of their breakfast stuff and we're getting ready for lunch. They pulled it all back out and cooked for us. This place is fairly new, appears to be family owned. Excellent customer service, staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable for a generous amount of delicious home cooked food. Close to clearwater airport and within walking distance from hotel i stayed in. Highly recommend! read more

Mity Nice Stand to its name, I work around that area and that's my favorite place to stop for lunch. The food is healthy and fresh, the business is fairly new. However, in the past the Food did take some time to arrive. Lately they have really step up the service and I been getting served much faster than ever before. I started coming here after my work hosted catered lunches by them. This place used to rock! Now, not so much. The workers are not nearly as friendly as they used to be, have a serious attitude, and disregard for manners. They even treat one another poorly. I overheard them being short with one another and a particular situation in which one woman said to another (in front of a customer) "do it this way, and I'm not telling you again." When I ordered, the woman taking my order asked what kind of wrap I wanted for a sandwich and the woman behind her was very snappy and rude to her. Because of my milk allergy, it was tough to find something to eat b/c their hamburger buns and cuban bread are made with butter. BUT, the staff was really knowledgeable and they were happy to customize my order. I ordered the Greek salad without Feta cheese and with oil and vinegar, which was delicious. My coworkers got the southwest wrap, a bacon cheeseburger and a reuben. They were all very happy with them and said that they'd be back. It was incredibly busy when we were there but the line moved quickly. I recommend going before noon to get ahead of the crowd. read more

In the previous orders I was satisfied with the service and the food. Todays, not so much, here's why: I ordered the soup & half sandwich combo, and i picked the uptown turkey with chicken noodle soup. I was given a call, unfortunately I had missed it being that I'm at work; But no voicemail was left. I called the number back asking what it was about. Come to find out, they were trying to let me know that they didn't have anymore of the chicken noodle soup, so that they were replacing it with chili. I asked, "why wasn't a voicemail left"? The lady responded that she wasn't the who made the call and didn't know why. My problem is that I should've been notified in a better way and followed through with to make sure I knew what was going on. If I hadn't of made the call back, i wouldn't have known and would've been mad that I got the wrong thing. Especially cause I can't have red sauce of any sort. So, i'm disappointed in what took place today. The "Huge cookie" turned out to be 2 medium sized cookies. My vanilla latte tasted like it was burnt, so i had to modify the taste to my liking with sugar and creamer. My husband and I ate breakfast on 2/26/16. We were the only people there. We both had the egg, bacon & cheese sandwich on Cuban bread. It seemed like they split between us, one scrambled egg, a slice of crumbled up bacon and small amount of cheese. It was saturated with bacon grease. We tried to put the food on a small piece of the bread so we did not have to eat all that grease. It was the worst egg & bacon sandwich we have ever had. We would not recommend this place for breakfast. We would not return. read more
