The closest you're going to get to a NYC style egg sandwich.
    Ally A.

I've been coming to Mity Nice since they first opened, and I may not be a good judge of things because I've ordered the exact same sandwich for that many years. Parking Strip mall lot allows for plenty of parking. Service Decent, but not overall warm and friendly. Prices Fair! Definitely acceptable. Food So here's the deal. I'm from the NYC/NJ area and I've been on a hunt for a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll since I left home. Unless you're from that area, you can't understand what makes this an amazing sandwich. Somehow Mity Nice has captured it with through version on Cuban Bread. No joke! This is the closest I've come to that exact taste. They do mighty nice latte as well - pun intended. Delivery is available through Yelp, Uber Eats, and I think, Door Dash by the way.

    Vegan Bacon Breakfast Sandwich

Found mity nice on uber eats and I'm so happy I did! The vegan bacon breakfast sandwich with sausage added is soo good, and their pricing is very affordable. I will definitely be back!

Weak tomato soup and a lackluster bull market.

So I am on my third trip here. I must say it is hit or miss. I enjoyed the hurricane last time but it was a little dry. Today I got half a sandwich and soup. I got the bull market. The menu said full with slaw. Not really. I also didn't taste the provolone. Maybe I don't know pastrami from roast beef but this tasted like roast beef that was also cold. The tomato soup was meh. I added crackers and salt which helped but over all a disappointing lunch. I will stick to the hot sandp

My First Friday pick is Mity Nice Cafe. I've been not on purpose avoiding this place and Ginger spurred me to action with a first Friday question. After a quick search of events, I showed up just after 11am. It was empty and i was greeted at once. Looking to my left a big wall sign menu told me breakfast cutoff was 10:30, Dang! I quickly chose to have a burger as that will tell you a lot about a place. The options for ingredients on said burger were better than your average burger joint. I got applewood bacon, mayo, mustard lettuce, tomato, cheddar, and onions. It comes with fries bit i wanted to try the coleslaw. Anyone can deep fry potatoes! After a short wait out came my burger, big and full of cheese(see photos) it was great. The coleslaw was a little sweet but not too much and i enjoyed it a lot. The cafe takes up two spots in the strip mall and there is plenty of room inside, some stuff is crammed in one corner. With burgers this good i didn't even really notice till i started this review. Do yourself a favor if you ever find yourself at Ulmerton and 40th street stop in for a bite, it's mity nice.

The Old Broadway, the best sandwich in TB
    Brett N.

Why 5 stars? Because the Old Broadway is the best sandwich in Tampa Bay. --- --- --- I said it when it was at Moxie's in Downtown Tampa. I said it was it was Nosh Cafe in the Westchase area. And it remains the same at Mity Nice Cafe, near Feathersound. The Old Broadway is my favorite sammy in TB. The owners of this bad ass sandwich shop have had to re-locate a couple of times, but their product has not changed a bit. So what is the Old Broadway, you ask? It's a cuban sandwich packed with coleslaw. It's also illegal in 13 states to attempt to eat this without a minimum of five napkins nearby. But this is a good thing. On my sandwich-meter: the messier, the better... who wants some dry meat betwixt two slices of bread? I say bring on the juiciness, even to the point of a spillage guarantee. Just be sure to proceed with caution. While the Old Broadway is delicious, it must be treated with respect. Do not attempt to devour it carelessly while wearing all white, or it will devour you.

My third frozen boba from here, second time I barely got any Pearl's and they are undercooked/hard. I'll avoid these in the future.

Very cute diner style cafe. The amount of food we got was worth our money. My husband got an omelette and the plate was over flowing with food. I was sold on an egg cheese and turkey sandwich on Cuban bread. Both items were very good. A complaint that the omelette was cooked too hard And my Latte's milk was burnt and so hot I couldn't touch it during my whole meal, I had to get a to go cup and put in 5 ice cubes to cool it down. Service was friendly thoi

I don't know what took me so long to try Mity Nice! Their sandwiches are huge, with very fresh ingredients. My first visit was on a Friday afternoon, around 2pm. We had no wait to order, and our food was brought to our table in about 10 minutes. After much indecision, I'd chosen The Hurricane sandwich, and added a side of potato salad. This sandwich is made on Cuban bread, as are many other sandwiches on the menu. The Cuban bread was authentic & VERY fresh. Served warm, my sandwich was delicious. In fact, I was disappointed to discover my husband took my leftover half to work for his lunch! Their potato salad is made with lots of red potatoes & has a very unique flavor. So good! Although I'm no longer working in the area, I'm definitely going to return & try some of their other sandwiches, and their burgers.

I opened an email around 5am that said one of our upcoming Yelp events would be at Mity Nice. I had never heard of Mity Nice, so I did some research. Around 2 hours later we were at Mity Nice ordering a burger and an Italian Beef Sandwich. That is right...you can get a burger at 630am!! You have to be careful when locating Mity Nice because it is on a very busy section of Ulmerton. It is located in a small plaza that is not facing the road (it faces sideways). It is beside Little Greek and near the International Diamond Center. It is a bit difficult to find, but worth the effort. The environment inside is nice. It feels like what I imagine an old-school burger and milkshake joint would have been like decades ago. We were the only people there since we opened them up, but the employees were very friendly and service was fast. **They have an entire section of the menu with PEANUT BUTTER** You can order an Elvis! Total Win. While I didn't order from the PB section of the menu this time, I will be in the future! We placed our orders to go. I did the build-your-own burger. I don't remember which cheese I went with, but my other toppings were bacon, balsamic tomatoes, ;ettuce, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and dill pickles. The burger was delicious! It was very juicy. The real standout was the balsamic tomatoes...incredible. My Husband must have liked his sandwich too because it disappeared quickly. Even the fries were well done. We will definitely be adding Mity Nice to our list of regular restaurants. I just wish they were open for dinner too!

This place was crazy cool! I liked the retro look and feel. The staff was beyond pleasant. Informed me they delivered which is convenient for my office right around the way. Of course I got the Cuban and it was better than A LOT of Cubans I have had recently. I'm always on the hunt for a good Cuban and this place has one! A HUUUGE menu as well as a lot for breakfast. I will be going back here for sure! Might be a 5 star after I try me some breakfast. So if you want a great cafe off of Ulmerton this is definitely your spot!

First time here. I picked this spot based on the reviews and the vicinity to my job. Also because Kozy Korner is no longer :( The restaurant itself was very clean with a nice design concept. The service was friendly and quick. Trying to stick with my low carb regimen I ordered an omelette with bacon, cheese and spinach. I could not have the potatoes or the fruit but they were nice enough to give me some fresh tomatoes on the side (yes, I realize tomatoes are fruit but roll with me here lol). Let me just say HOLY OMELETTE!!!!!! The thing was enormous. Like so big I could only stomach 1/4 of it before I was about to have eggs coming out of my ears! No joke. It really turned me off because there was barely any filling, just EGGS. I was intrigued by the rest of the menu and will definitely be back to sample some of the sweets! Great find!

Just one half of my ECB (egg bacon and cheese) on Cuban bread.

The place is very clean, and even though I went in the evening when it wasn't too busy, you can tell they get a steady flow of people. I ordered the Sweet Heat and Garlic Parm wings extra wet, and they were worth the wait. It took about 15 minutes since they make the wings to order, but they came out hot and full of flavor. The pizza was fresh too, with that perfect balance of sauce and toppings. There's plenty of seating whether you're by yourself or coming with a group. Overall, a solid first visit and definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

When I got my pizza, there was NO Fresh Mozzarella on it despite me giving clear instructions over the phone to the guys taking my order that I wanted to ADD FRESH MOZZARELLA to my MARGARITA PIZZA. He read it back to me to confirm. Either they do not carry 'Fresh Mozzarella' or they simply do not care enough to complete an order with ONE customization. (Mind you, a Traditional Margarita Pizza has Fresh Mozzarella as one of its main ingredients which is false advertising in itself when Slice of the Burg ONLY sells revolting Cheese Pizzas with a smidge of tomato and a pinch of basil and NOT 'Margarita' Pizzas. Terrible TERRIBLE service. Is it really that hard for a restaurant to get a SIMPLE order right? All that is on my pizza is basic shredded mozzarella, a PINCH of shredded basil, and some thinly sliced tomatoes I can hardly see or taste. This is nothing but a HORRIBLE cheese pizza with some garnish. DISGUSTING! No flavor at all!! AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, My tiramisu is frozen. FROZEN!! Slice of The Burg sold us FROZEN Tiramisu and DID NOT get my SIMPLE order right. I have the receipt right here that Fresh Mozzarella WAS (apparently) ADDED to my pizza. Do better Slice of The Burg!!
