Ignore the bad ratings! This place is amazing. The food quality is great and the amount they give you is off the charts. We finally made it for breakfast and were so glad we did. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast with scrambled eggs and a side of grits. I'm glad we walked there because it was a lot of food. The lox were fresh and there was an ample amount of avocado spread on multi-grain bread. Plus I loved the fact that it had grilled onions, tomatoes and capers served on it. It was served with a bowl of mixed fruit topped with granola. YUM! The side of grits came with my choice of cheese and I added Swiss cheese. Our server was very prompt and friendly and we were amazed how fast the food came out. I loved the interior decor with lots of airbrushed artwork on the walls. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and this was one of my top favorite breakfasts ever. It's just a typical diner inside, clean, but plain, but the food is fantastic. I had the lobster eggs Benedict and wow was it ever flavorful. My eggs were PERFECTLY poached, there was a ton of buttery lobster, and the hollandaise sauce was phenomenal. Been forever since we have been here. We barely remembered it. We chose to come on Mother's Day, & came as early as we could to avoid the rush. That was a success! We were sat right away in a comfy booth and had great service from the hostess and the server. Both assisted us with a great welcome! It wasn't so crowded since it was early m, but people started coming in and it filled about by 10am. We ordered the lobster Benedict which I loved that I had the option of having it with crepe instead of English Muffin. That was definitely what I was looking for. Skillets are few and far between here still, and that was perfect for my husband. Everything was nice, not too loud, comfortable and spacious with great everything. They do have three locations. I've enjoyed the country fried steak with sausage gravy, two scrambled eggs, homefried potatoes, and rye toast. Excellent! I've also enjoyed one of the skillets, which consists of ham and sausage, choice of eggs, cheese, on top of their home fries. If there's one thing I'm not thrilled with it would be their home fries, they are the cubed potatoes deep fried, I'm just not a fan of these. The parking was easy as there was a decent sized parking lot. The service was friendly and quick! In town and found this place on Yelp. What a gem! Had a s'mores iced coffee, I was afraid of being too sweet and it was not - it was perfect! Also had the choco waffles, comes with eggs and home fries, fully loaded plate! The Hawaiian avocado toast (special) was an interesting! It had ham, pineapple, pieces of grilled chicken and grilled onion with the egg on top and all sitting over smashed avocado and sliced tomato. Too many different things going on, which I think was a mix up because there's another option similar to it and the avocado tasted like it wasn't ripe enough so that sort of threw off the whole thing. Kids eat free on Saturdays, they was nice and another full plate! They have omelettes on the kids menu, served with home fries and fruit. My son loved his. We had a great server who was super sweet. AJ the waitress at the restaurant had another table where she had to serve a customer by the name of David as well as another customer at another table Daniel. The restaurant served really healthy options possibly vegetarian, pescatarian or vegan friendly as on the menu there were options for freshly squeezed Orange Juice. To be frank, I'm not completely vegan. The waitress, if I remember correctly was from Arizona, was really efficient and really straight forward when explaining the menu items which was really appreciated. For some reason I remember the plates that Daniel and David ordered, although David was from Missouri and a free lance photographer, their plates looked delicious. This was the first time I ate at the restaurant, but I've had a number of to go meals and everyone has been a great meal. For this meal, I ordered the brunch plate and there was so much food, I couldn't finish my meal and I'm a proud member of the clean your plate club. The two over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Then add on crispy home fries, two sausage links, two pieces of bacon, two slices of ham, one piece of French toast, a crepe, toast and fresh fruit and you've got yourself a full brunch! I came here for breakfast the other day. Located near ulmerton and belcher. Nice little outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The service was good but their food has one of the most beautiful presentations and for a good price! They have many options of food to choose from and all of their portions are very large! We had the New Yorker benedict and the chocolate crepe and shared. The benedict you choose your meat (bacon, ham, sausage) and I chose ham. They gave some on the benedict and even more pieces on the side. I want to give it 4 stars. The temperature was lukewarm. I ordered a crepe, 2 eggs, sausage and home fries. The crepe was "open" not closed. Yummy food, the only negative feedback I have is the service. I'm not sure if our waitress was having a bad day but she seemed very stressed, she was an older woman with a blonde ponytail, she barely spent time at our table, I felt like I was running telling her what we wanted, when I wanted to ask her something she was already gone. I asked for a mango smoothie and brought me an orange one. The place wasn't even that full (see pictures). The other thing I want to point out is that their bathroom wasn't very clean, there were papers and water all over the floor and the toilet looked pretty dirty. Overall we were please with the food, the avocado toasts tasted great and you can't beat their amazing prices. Another Speggtacular breakfast! Went for brunch with my wife on a Saturday morning. Waited about 10 minutes to sit but well worth the wait! There is outdoor and indoor seating. Servers were wearing masks. All of there food is so good, you can't go wrong and they have a wide variety. I was Yelping for a place for breakfast near Shoot Straight in Clearwater, while my friend drove like a maniac on I-275 from St. Petersburg. That's when the hangover really started to take hold. In my frantic searching (because nausea, afraid of vomiting in my friend's car), I found Speggtacular was close to out planned destination. Fortunately, we arrived there around 9:45AM when there were still some parking spots in the lot -- it would be filled by the time we left. Upon entering, it looked like a typical, no-frills sit-down type of eatery. White pointed walls with red trim, booths, and tables, there was also a bar area where they made mimosas and bloody mary's. But I was not having any of those. When you go to eight breweries the day before, you're looking to recover not send yourself further into oblivion. Our waitress was very nice and attentive -- noticing that I was feeling the hurt from a rough night. She continued to keep the hot coffee and water coming as my slumped over the table -- slowly taking sips so I wouldn't cause a scene. Their menu, as you can imagine by the name, is very... EGG-centric. Which I love eggs. Eggs are good. Let's have ourselves some eggs I say. But I'm rambling. I ordered a tomato, mushroom, and swiss omelette at which throughout the course of the next hour, I slowly nibbled away. They served my omelette with some buttered rye toast, which I ate first and helped bring some color back on my face. The omelette was solid as I nibbled away at that. I thought about adding hot sauce, but being that my stomach was not in the best mood, I decided against it. I felt like a bird... slowly... (wait for it)... nibbling. But I will say that the food was good and hit the spot, especially the continuous servings of hot coffee and ice water. By the time we got our check, I was feeling a lot better than when I first entered. Didn't have the nausea anymore and felt more like a functioning human being. In my spur of the moment decision, fighting hangover and hunger, Speggtacular was quite speggqusite -- see what I did there? But seriously, go check them out if you're in the Clearwater/Largo area.
