My review is for the brunch! I went at 11am on a Sunday. It was DEAD. I'm talking 1 other table for 2 hours dead. That set a pretty weird vibe for the meal haha. However the staff was sooo friendly and attentive, and the space is SO COOL. I caught myself just looking around most of the time haha. I'm sure the vibes are immaculate at night as a night club. The food was OK at best, maybe even lower than ok. I wouldn't recommend the brunch foods. The mimosas were fun and tasty - $25 for a bottle. Overall I look forward to coming back at night for a drink and to dance! I'll skip the food and the weird morning vibes haha. read more

My date picked out the Restaurant. This was my first time dining here. Heard great things about it. Walked in on a Sunday evening without reservation. The restaurant was pretty empty. They were able to get us in right away. After being seated, TIME has pass by and workers were walking back & forth with no acknowledgment of us even being present. We were right in the middle of the establishment, where it was visibly noticed if someone was there or not. Finally after 15 minute has passed we were able to flag down a server and let them know we've been waiting patiently without any water. There was less than 6 table occupied as I watched the restaurant operate, whether it's your section/table or not you should always greet tables immediately, especially when I was given eye contact. FINALLY Once the table was assign a servers, she was pleasantly knowledgeable in her menu and beverages, which was very helpful to maneuver through the menu since it was a really large selection. Overall, I was still pleased with our meal, definitely will come back, but hopefully the service won't be as slow as we did this time around. Apparently During the weekend, the restaurant has a second floor and a club/bar scene in downstairs for dancing to salsa/meringue, Reggaeton music vibes, which is great for weekends gathering with a group of friends that opens after 10pm til 2am closing. read more

We visited on a Friday evening at 6:00 PM. We had made a reservation, but it turned out not to be necessary since we were seated immediately. The biggest surprise was that the place felt much more like a nightclub than a restaurant. I suppose it's intended to be both. The décor and atmosphere definitely cater to a younger crowd. What really stood out, however, was the drink pricing. They charge $6 for a soda, and our server asked several times if we wanted refills. We assumed the refills were complimentary or at least would have been told if there was an additional charge. Instead, our final bill included three sodas for the two of us, apparently charging for the refills. Our total bill was about $180 for 2 people, so adding $6 for a soda refill felt excessive and left a disappointing final impression. read more

I went to Mito with a friend on a Wednesday evening because we saw on their Instagram post that they were doing a chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta special deal. That is our absolute favorite dish there so when there's a special happening, you already know I'm gonna hit it up. The service was slow despite the restaurant not crowded. The ambiance was nice with music playing in the background and not overly loud. The server was not aware of the special deal however once I informed her of the special and she confirmed with the manager, they did honor the pricing. Loved that!! Met at Mito at noon on a Saturday for brunch with a couple of my cousins and other extended family and friends. We were a larger group of about 15. I had never been but had bookmarked some of their lively videos and food pics on social media and thought I'll have to try this place sometime and now I finally had the chance. It's a huge space! and our table was 1 of the 4 tables that were being served, other than that the restaurant was empty. Just one waitress was serving our large group as well as the other tables that were in the restaurant and she was overwhelmed. Once all of our orders were placed it wasn't long before food started arriving and everything looked great, came out hot and fresh and tasted delicious! I wouldn't go out of my way to return here for brunch only because of the emptiness and lack of staff, but will definitely come back for dinner and cocktails as it was painfully obvious that is a nighttime spot and the ambiance and vibes would be amazing for a date night or night out with friends! read more

The day I visited was a hot summer day. It was quite loud. This is clearly a "vibes, not food" place as far as the focus. Christopher was our server. The mexicana pizza was so salty! The Birria was good, not great. It's enough for 2 to share. Beso Adelita was delicious and small. Easy to spill, the presentation was lovely. I love Mito. The atmosphere and decor is always entertaining. The music is loud most times that I went, late weekend nights, but was still fun. During the weekend nights it gets pretty busy, and will mostly have a wait. My husband and I decided last minute to go the day before valentine's day without a reservation and they were able to get us in within 10 minutes. There is live music every now and then which is a nice change. I go for the alfredo, it's my favorite, it has a little spice to it, and it's cheaper than Olive Garden's alfredo! I would go again and again just for the alfredo. The servers are always nice and food arrived within a normal timeframe even when it was busy. read more

This place gives downtown Minneapolis vibes (a touch clubby), but is located in Roseville with plenty of parking lot space! We all ordered something different. I decided on the Enchiladas Verde and I ate THE ENTIRE plate. They were saucy and delicious! We also split the truffle fries. They came out in a massive portion and were extremely addictive! This place is a vibe! They were decked out for Halloween, inside and out. The basement is a comedy club on Fridays and a dance floor on Saturday's. There's a private room upstairs that can be rented out. A full bar in the middle. An area for live music in the evening. The bathroom is very hidden, had to ask. Food is definitely on the pricier side but everything comes out looking very nice. They have happy hour from 4-7pm but still pricey. I love that there the menu was not big, but there is such a variety. My husband ordered the tomahawk but they brought him at home instead. It's $100 less so I guess that's ok but imagine if he ordered the tbone and had to pay for the tomahawk. Flavor was good. The waitress not only missed what he ordered but when he asked what the lemon herb butter shrimp was she said it was a typo and is just lemon herb butter. Well, it came out with 2 big shrimp in it, my husband is allergic. She did not offer to get him another side or to not charge him for it. That was really disappointing. I got the asada con camarones, the shrimp was nice and juicy but the steak was on the well done side and very thin as asada usually is. My niece got the seafood linguine and said it was very good. Besides our waitress not being accommodating even though she was the one who confirmed items on the menu for us and that she took forever to come check on us once we got our food, the ambiance was very nice. We loved the live music, the party vibe in the evening, the drink and food varieties, we definitely want to go back. I have been to Mito in Roseville twice now, and it is definitely a happening spot. The food is solid especially the birria beef, which was a standout. Drinks and cocktails are creative and fun, making it a great place to unwind. Parking is plentiful with their own lot, which is a nice plus. My only critique is the strange blue lighting inside; it casts an odd color over the food and takes away a bit from the presentation. Otherwise, a lively spot worth checking out. The ambiance when walking in is beautiful wood work all around with stunning Latin motifs, while also looking like it potentially was a hopping party spot. It was a Monday night so, very sparsely occupied. We were seated toward the back. The hostess was very busy and ended also being our server. She was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of! All staff seemed great! The Spicy Margarita was the best I've had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It was a toss up with the flight of Mararitas though! I've been here a few times and almost always for a birthday. Had reservations every time cause they can get really busy. They have their own parking lot so you don't have to worry about that at all. Inside is beautiful with many places to take great photos. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Menu is full of pictures so you know what you're getting. Food is pretty good and the drinks are ok. I think it may be a little over priced but you're really paying for the presentation and theatrics and they have that down! I really wanted to like Mito. So much hype, such a diverse menu, awesome space. Unfortunately things started off poorly right away. The place was not busy at all when we arrived and it was clear that our server either didn't know we were seated or just didn't care as we waited for anyone to greet us for ~10 minutes and at least 15 before even getting waters. We started off with the oysters and a couple sushi rolls. The oysters were very poorly done. Covered with so much extra, completely attached to the shell still, and just a flavor profile that doesn't fit the dish at all. The sushi was pretty solid, but have to admit that the price was a bit over the top. As for mains, the pollo loco was mediocre. On the dry side, lacking any impact flavors... I'd prefer a $6 rotisserie chicken from the grocery store vs. this $29 dish. The drinks, while super cool to look at, are so sweet it's almost unbearable. Not sure a single drink caters to anyone except a new drinker looking for a sweet profile or something you'd find on the beach. All in all, this place had a ton of potential, but fell flat almost across the board especially given the high cost of everything on the menu! read more

It was a VIBE with a live saxophone player, the lighting, and the art! The service was exceptional! Our waitress was so knowledgeable and provided a BOATLOAD of recommendations for food and drink. I've been to Mito twice, just wanting to go and another time to celebrate a birthday. The place is super cute and trendy. A lot of cute photo ops! Even the bathroom was fully decorated and they had warm hand towels. I pretty much wanted to go here for the cute drinks but each time we ended up getting apps/ a bite to eat. The food is not great. The first time we got guac and truffle fries. The fries were good but the guac was flavorless, I was a bit disappointed with that. The next time we went we got the Chipotle Bbq Crispy Chicken pizza. It wasn't that bad but the chicken tasted frozen and cheap like the frozen apps you get at the store and the crust could have been cooked a little more. Was for sure a pizza you have to eat with a knife and fork. Food is a bit pricey here. My friend and I are trying to try as many drinks as possible so we usually order a few drinks every time, for the most part they are usually good & on point. They are spendy but not bad for going out every once in a while & treating yourself. The staff are usually nice and attentive. We came on a Friday evening to celebrate my husband and it was gorgeous! It was our first time and it honestly made me feel like I was transported back to Nicaragua. The party vibes were on, the ambiance's, the music, the colors, everything made you feel like you were in another country all together. I loved it!! Aylean was our server and she could tell we were first timers, she did an amazing job walking us through the drink menu noting they're famous for their specialty cups and drink concoctions. She also gave us some great food recommendations that we took her up on! My husband ordered the squid, I ordered the Salmon, and my nephew got the enchiladas. Honestly, everything tasted AMAZING! The ambiance is probably the best feature that Mito has to offer. They did a phenomenal job curating the inside of the restaurant. It's a cool spot for a first date or a little birthday bash gathering. Music choice there is also class. You'll probably Shazam a song or two. The servers are very courteous & tend to know their way around the menu if you struggle with making choices while hungry. They'll give you good recommendations to match your preferences. The food is good, but it's the only reason I haven't given it a 5 star rating. It lacks that little bit of authentic flavor at times to really make the place completely undeniable. This restaurant is a party central. We went to a friend birthday and dinner. They had a live band playing Latin music and singer. People were dancing in front of the stage. Lots of people dining as well. There is a second level that goes to a private party room. There's also a night club in the basement that opens right before 10pm if anyone is in the mood for dancing. The slowest service I've ever received. Considering this is semi fine dining and how much an app of fries or that a sushi roll is $30, I should be getting better service. Didn't get the correct drink, waters took at least 10-15 mins to be refilled every time. My friends food never came and she had to watch the rest of us eat. Decided for our NYE Dinner we would kick it off with an early dinner at Mito. This place has alll the things going on as soon as you walj in the door, from cute places to take pictures to music that gets you chairs dancing.... But lets get to the chips and queso about this place... cause lets be real...thats what we all come to yelp for.. we ordered just that and was it good absolutely add the chorizo ..then to the main course I got the pollo loco with a side of a street corn..pollo loco was really done well but sadly the street corn fell flat its almost just missing something. Nate got the Quesabirria with a side of beans. Head nods and all besides it being a little greasy it was good! Lets break down the service... for the amount of people not there didnt make sense for our waitress to disappear as many times as she did for Looonggg periods of time that asking for something wasnt an option and for the end of our meal she was non existent another server after seeing us wait a long while with a clear table etc finally came over and asked what we were doing.. and then another server took our card with another returning it. The 3 stars are all for the ambiance and venue. So if you're looking for an instagrammable drink and background, this is the place for you. If you want drinks with substance or food that's worth the money, this isn't your vibe. The service was friendly but slow, especially considering the restaurant was not even close to busy when we got there shortly after it opened (just after 4pm on Saturday. The drinks are cute and come in the fun glasses, but are very small and very sweet. You're definitely paying for the trendy set up, not the mixology.
