Great service! They fix rare outages quickly, but for the most part, the service works great for the price!

Mitec technicians our friendly, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend anyone needing any computer work, service,or advice to look no further than Mitec Solutions. read more

I've had Mitec since 2015 and have always had a great experience. They actually care about their customers and treat them with respect.

I reached out to Mitec in September and they were great. At the end of my other review I said that I would definitely use their service again. Little did I know that within weeks I would!!! I called Mitec to see about replacing an existing laptop. They found out what my needs were, and suggested a new one to purchase. Their price was in line with other companies so I bought from Mitec. They ported over all my programs and files over and made suggestions if they had any concerns about future performance. They even provided a service where a tech delivered the computer to my house and made sure that I was comfortable using the new device, checked to make sure that my internet signal was strong enough and answered all of my questions until I felt completely at ease with the new computer. I have told all my friends and family.......I love these guys!!! read more

Quick and honest service on my Mac. They fixed my immediate problem, identified various minor problems that I decided to handle on my own, and provided documentation outlining the issues in language that i could understand. They even gave a military discount to add a little extra icing on the cake. read more

This is the second opportunity I've had to share what great service and communication I recently received while having these "Geniuses" work on my computer. These people are truly at the top level of being able to research and fix computer problems! As much as I'd like to single out one technician (Casey comes to mind); it's really a solid, group effort, and they all contributed to the success achieved in getting my computer back up and running! As a business that relies upon a functioning computer on a daily basis, it's imperative that my computer is up and running all the time! Everyone here keeps that in mind while they're working on my computer, and do their very best to get it back to me in perfect working condition, and in a timely manner; doesn't get any better than that! Thanks, everyone! read more

What a wonderful service. Did not have to get frustrated. Nicholas came out and fixed everything. Had to come back to fix something that just wasn't right but he was gracious and quick. Now I have one remote to do everything and it seems a reliable internet connection. Awesome! Thank you. read more

QUIT FOOLING AROUND! Quit using services over the phone (unless it's Apple Care). My technician was Tony, Tony is the bomb! I had five issues and tony resolved them so quickly I had a hard time following him. There was no hesitation, no guessing in the problem solving process. Tony is extremely knowledgable, professional and explained everything completely. In the future, if I can't resolve a computer problem in 15 minutes I will use Mitec read more

WOW! Mitec Solutions! What a surprise......I must explain that First I was chasing after a 'Lone Wolfette' who appeared to be highly recommended from Her reviews. Well, she may be recommended because of the service she performs, but her actual 'bedside manner' Sucked. (Now that we know she is an experienced IT person, time for her to go back to 'Customer Service 101' class.) She just coldly pawned me off to another business (without explaining Why she was coldly pawning me off in the first place). The 'other business' turned out to be MITEC SOLUTIONS in Ventura, and Wow! She should hang out in That place for a while so she can actually Learn something. My 'Go-To Guy' was the one with the 'golden radio voice': *Daniel Barsby*. (You will Know it's him the moment you hear him over the phone or speaking to someone in the backroom.) Now, when you take a look at This particular 'coin' over here--one side says OCD, the other side says Perfectionist (one being a negative word, the other being a---positive word that--still gets misconstrued as negative sometimes). Well I will Gladly say that Daniel is a *Perfectionist*! THANK GOODNESS, DANIEL IS A PERFECTIONIST & TOOK HIS TIME with my 2006 MacBook Pro laptop. For a refurbished model, the work Daniel put into it was relatively inexpensive (I thought it was gonna cost Way more), And working on my laptop makes me feel like I'm driving a Brand New Car! THANKS AGAIN, DANIEL! (and someone should have him host a radio show Immediately) :-) read more

I prefer dealing with local business, and I really like Mitec. I have their wireless internet service and it's great.

I am so pleased with Mitec and their help with our computers at my small business. To my relief, Tony came out and fixed our network and accounting system problems. He answered all of my questions from what antivirus to use, to how to backup 5 computers and a server. Tony even followed up the visit with a detailed email going over the things we discussed. I feel like i am in good hands with Mitec!! :) read more

Prompt, reliable, and headed back soon. Very soon. Great communication throughout. Highly reccomended!

Contacted Mitec about having internet installed at my business location. No other big fancy internet company could offer service to me at my mid-town Ventura location. Didn't seem to make sense. Anthony came out on the HOTTEST day ever, spent the next hour or more up on the roof of my building, installed the equipment, and all has been good. I'm a big supporter of helping another local business, even if it costs a little more. Mitec's service is actually LESS than the other big internet carriers. They make the extra effort and my internet connection is great. Glad I found these guys!! read more

As good as it gets is the best way to describe the entire staff at Mitec Solutions! From the first time I visited their business to the continuing visits I make for regular maintenance of my computer, they are the best I've worked with since I began owning computers! What's more important, as a solopreneur my computer is my business which provides its own unique challenges when something happens to my computer; I'm out of business! So, when I hurry over to Mitec with my great concerns about being "out of business until my computer is fixed" the most important thing happens: They let me know they understand my situation, and they work diligently to get me back up and running as quickly as possible. This review is long overdue; however, now is the best time to leave it because they are continuously improving their options to help their customers all the time. That means we can all benefit even more now by using Mitec's services. In my opinion, they are the "Go To" staff of experts to help you with all your computer needs, challenges, and maintenance! read more

The best customer service. MiTec has been my Internet provider since June, and today was the first time I've had any problem with a disruption in service--that alone is noteworthy. With my last provider (not to name any names, it starts with an "A" and ends with a "T"), the Internet went out every other month or so, and each time it was an ordeal to get it back. Today Rae and Anthony solved the problem immediately. What would have taken days or even a week or more to resolve with That Other Company was handled efficiently and quickly. I am so grateful. Because I'm self-employed and work at home, I need consistently reliable Internet service--which MiTec provides. read more

I wants to first and foremost say these guys were awesome very helpful very knowledgable took the time to explain my option for my repair were very reasonable thank you guys so much Arm equipment company read more

My computer screen gave up the ghost, and MiTec was friendly, efficient, and professional from start to finish to help me get it replaced. Evan gave me solid time and cost estimates, explained things clearly, was patient with my questions, and everyone made drop-off, pick-up, and payment straightforward and easy to handle while maintaining social distancing. Evan also made sure I knew about options available to me to improve my computer's performance, which I would not otherwise have known about - without me feeling even a hint of hard-sell. I've used MiTec's services before, they always give reliable service, and they're my go-to place for issues with my Mac. read more

Solutions is the key word relating to Mitec. We have lived in camarillo for almost four years and the only internet connection avail to us was verizon dsl/frontier dsl..... slooooooow!!!! so slow for four years..... too far from telephone pole for spectrum att+t was just as useless as verizon.... we were stuck almost went to hughes net but i thought i'd check the reviews online HA!!!!never saw SO many bad reviews for anything it was hilarious actually!!!... we were hopelessly stuck last tuesday i did one more internet provider search expecting the usual bad news, Mitec appeared on the list. Anthony came by last friday and within a 1/2 hour we had more than quadrupled the speed of our internet!!! Incredible! Great service call, lovely guy to deal with.... fantastic! Mitec is the kind of computer vendor/repair company you want having your back: honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and fair. My wife and I recently entrusted our digital existence to them to upgrade our Mac's memory to solid state and to update the OS and some other software we rely on, including antivirus protection. The office staff and technicians were unfailingly courteous and helpful throughout the process. We got our money's worth and are thrilled with the smooth operation. Don S. read more

Mitec Solutions provided fast and excellent service in the repair of my laptop! Highly recommend!!

The team at Mitec are super. From the first phone call, to dropping off my computer, the phone call with diagnosis, the updates on progress, the teaching lesson when I picked up my computer and to the price I paid for their services there is only one word to use. Extraordinary. I am happy that I found them via Yelp! read more

Thanks to Anthony and his team I had my fears relieved and MacBook restored! Not only did they fix the problem, but took time to explain what happened and how to prevent it from happening again. Great job! read more

What great company! This team saved us when we were starting our new business. They helped schedule through a holiday weekend. They arrived on time and couldn't have been nicer or more professional. They understood the urgency of our set-up needs and answered every question and email with that same sense of urgency. The reliability of the service and speed has been great! From the installers to sales-reps, they have been amazing! It's so nice to know there is a company that still understands how important customer service and customer satisfaction are. read more

Totally satisfied with the work done. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Up front with costs and even saved a few bucks. Follow up was quick and efficient. Have taken second laptop in for Win upgrade. read more

Mitec has been my go-to for all "tech support" for many years now. They originally helped with computer tech support and Ryan implemented a network that was further complicated by multi POS software using two different OS. They did a great job with implementation as well as support ever since. We have continued to use Mitec for many things including phone line install, web site CMS, SEO, surveillance install, and more. They are always professional and reliable and I recommend them highly. read more

I stumbled across Mitec while looking for an alternative to Charter for our home internet service. To be fair, Charter *was* reliable, but SO expensive. Mitec's "wireless point to point" service looked to cut my bill almost in half. I was skeptical, but called them anyway. They not only answered all my questions, but were courteous and cheerful to boot. First, I noticed that the advertised price seemed quite low, so I asked how much it would cost 'all in' with taxes and fees. The answer: "The price includes all taxes and fees." Next I asked if it was a promotion, or a one year deal, like Charter is famous for. The answer: "Nope. It's the ongoing price." Finally, I asked when they could install, figuring it would take six tries and four weeks like my last AT&T install. The answer: "We have someone available tomorrow." Tomorrow came and the installer did a very nice job installing a tiny little square antenna on the side of the house, ran the wire inside and connected it to my router. Boom! Internet. Just. Like. That. According to the install tech, their wireless service runs on their own private network in Ventura, so they have complete control and responsibility over the service they provide. It's such a breath of fresh air to have real *local* competition in the ISP game and not just the same two corporate behemoths controlling the wires to my house. It's been about a month and rock solid, even through the Thomas fire mayhem. Well done guys & gals. 5- stars for sure. My advice to anyone looking for internet service in Ventura, is to keep it local and call Mitec. They don't cover everywhere in town, but are expanding coverage all the time. read more

I have an Ethereum mining rig that was having software problems and the team at Mitec was able to fix the problem and get the computer back up and running in no time! They are very friendly and professional. I will definitely use their services again in the future. read more

We were looking for a new internet provider. We had AT&T and Spectrum. Neither one of them met our requirements especially customer service. We found Mitec shortly after the fire. This review is long over due but the time has allowed us to determine if they will meet our requirements. I can honestly say they are the best. I like dealing with small businesses in our local area whenever possible. Their customer service is the best. Their desire to completely satisfy each customer is unparralled. Their technology is comparable to other companies and in many ways surpasses even the "big boys". Whenever I call them I get someone here in Ventura vs some other country where understanding a foreign language is a hassele. They also do not understand what it means to provide good customer service. When you call Mitec you will get a prompt, curteous, professional person without incurring any language problems. They are committed to doing whatever it takes to resolve your problem. They offer a full range of technical services including fixing security systems. Their internet service is comparable to other providers and their rates are also comparable. If you want a reliable internet provider with quick service I recommend calling Mitec. read more

I live on a boat in Ventura Harbor and needed a wi-fi solution for my business and personal use. On a recommendation from a friend I called Mitec Solutions, signed up and scheduled an appointment. They sent reminders prior to the appointment and Nathan arrived on time to do the installation. Not only was he very competent, thorough, and creative in determining a solution - he took into account what I wanted and was a really personable guy. What also impressed me is that he checked many times to ensure everything was working properly, even to putting a special cover on the unit to protect the wires in the salt water environment. I wish I had discovered them years ago. If I could give 10 stars I would. read more

Thank you Anthony for your great service. You provide an alternative to Spectrum at an affordable price with excellent internet speed for streaming multiple devices. We were very happy with your service and wish you were in the location we're moving to. We live on our boat and finding a service that provides internet is hard to do but you came through. Please expand your locations to include more marinas! Thanks again to Anthony and Sophie and Mitec in general for a great service. We will use you again given the opportunity. read more

Lets face it. It can be tough to find technology folks who can help those of us that don't have the luxury of calling upon an "IT DEPT" for assistance. For years, I used Make It Work until they went out of business. Recently, I started calling upon MiTec solutions and they have delivered. Good folks who try to problem solve.. without trying to always up-sell when providing services. There have been several times that I needed to get an answer over the phone and the MiTec folks have made time for me without always charging for their time. read more

I just got off the phone with Anthony at Mi-Tec and felt compelled to leave a review. Its over due considering this is my third time back at Mi Tec. Most people are not computer savvy and every time I call Anthony or any other Mi Tec. employee they go out of their way to explain and educate you on computer mechanics. That way your a little more knowledgeable on what your are spending your money on. I hope this review helps out some folks. The tech was on time, fast, efficient and knew how to handle all my complex issues. I needed my TV, security cameras, Alexa and satellite music fixed. SO happy to have found Mitec! Everyone I have dealt with there on the phone or via email has been helpful, professional and very friendly. So much better than calling AT&T and having them force their virtual assistant on me. We have been using AT&T for almost 12 years now and switched from DSL to Uverse about a year ago. What a nightmare. I won't get into the multitude of service issues we have encountered since switching to Uverse, except to say that it was their terrible customer service that ultimately led to me dropping them for good. I cannot properly express just how happy I am that I will never have to call AT&T with issues again. I actually found Mitec through Yelp, and after many emails back and forth with Anthony from Mitec, I finally decided to give them a try. Unfortunately I am not yet in their wireless network, but there are plans in the works to add more wireless service in our area very soon. For now, I am utilizing their cable internet service which they lease from TWC and do all the billing, customer service, and support issues. He also was able to recommend a new router and long range network extender which has greatly improved our wireless strength throughout our home and even in the front/back yards. So far we are very happy with the switch. Every time I have sent an email, I hear back very quickly and same day. Most importantly, I am super happy to be able to support a local small business - I would MUCH rather give Mitec my hard earned money than AT&T, who could care less about me as a customer. Furthermore, they also do computer repair. I was having some issues with my iMac and Anthony was able to troubleshoot several problems and point me in the right direction while he was here at my home for the initial internet setup. As an internet client, it is my understanding that we also receive 20% off all computer repair services. Nice to have a local solution as opposed to having to drive to an Apple Store in SB or TO. I highly recommend this business and hope to be working with them for many years to come. read more
