I cannot remember how many times I've walked in here only to walk out empty handed because I could not find what I was looking for and there was little or no help from staff. If the savings (extra gas and time vs price tag of items) is worth it for me to head to a big box store, off I'll go. Latest example for me was stopping this past weekend to find a new faucet for a bathroom sink. There were only one or two brands available at this T&C location, and nothing on the shelf under $40. That's not to say there wasn't something priced under $40, it just wasn't in stock. Off to the Big Blue Borg box store I went and found exactly what I was looking for, for about $25. That's more than enough of a difference for me to shop at the big box stores.
