Very disappointed in the driver/customer service. The ice cream itself was delicious, however the driver was very rude! This was in Concord, CA. My two kids and I were excited to get ice cream. Mind you this was my 2nd time ordering. The first time was years ago. The driver rushed me and told me to hurry because there were 3 people behind me. There was nobody behind me? Mister Softee was in Danville for a private event. My son and I attended the event. I picked the Cherry Frosty and my son picked the Oreo Frosty cone. The frosty was firm, good vanilla flavor with a nice cherry crunch hard shell and a fresh crunchy cone. Unfortunately the Cherry dip didn't completely cover the frosty so there were little holes where the frosty melted and dripped which made it a little messy so have extra napkins available. You couldn't lick the melting ice cream since it was dipped. My son experienced the same. We both enjoyed our cones and if we see the truck again we both would buy one of the cones or sundaes. From the start, the process was seamless - all of the communication was done through email, which was super efficient and convenient for me. Stephen was very responsive, informative, and gave me a variety of options for my booking needs. I was super impressed by how detailed he was - for example, my event was in a location accessible to the public, and I was concerned that others would join the ice cream line (who were not part of the event). I was offered an option of using a code word or tickets, to facilitate this issue. For the event, the driver arrived precisely on time. The full menu was available, and the driver quickly churned out all of the orders, much to all of the kids and families delight. The ice cream cones were the exact same size as when you typically purchase them off the truck.
