We were here at 1:15pm on a Thursday and there was one customer being served. We checked out the flavors board and stared at the flavors in the tubs in the display cases. With over 40 flavors, I narrowed down my choice to three and decided on scoop of coconut pineapple on a cone. The lady was scooping the ice cream and forming the ball and I was shocked how big the scoop she put on the cone. It was so big that she said I better put in a cup. That scoop could have been two or even three scoops at some shops. The ice cream was rich and tasty. Will thank my friend the next time I see him for the recommendation. Have to come back for some ice cream again.

This is by far the chillest and most accommodating ice cream establishment in the country. This establishment not only serves remarkably delicious soft serve, but the worker who served us was an absolute pleasure buy from. When I noticed I only had 3 dollars, when the item I wished to purchase was 4 dollars, I realized I would have to settle for nothing. Thinking of a way to get something, I asked him if I could buy anything. He said sure, taking the my three dollars and giving me a vanilla soft serve (which on the menu was $4). The other ice cream truck that comes around (Mr.Frostee's) has higher prices, less variety, workers far less chill than the man we encountered. Thank you so much for the ice cream. I was very satisfied with the service. I live in Piedmont, California and we usually have a different ice cream truck going around. I found the options for ice cream much more diverse than our usual ice cream truck. The worker there was quite nice and seemed to enjoy his job. The restaurant or food truck or business is not at that location selling anything. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. As for the hours that Yelp lists (12:30am to 5:30pm) , we were at that location (27812 Loyola Ave) at that time (2:30pm) on Sunday 11/12/2023, and there wasn't a anything there that was selling shave ice. My guess is a food truck is only for special events at an arranged place that are planned ahead of time. I see that this business has been "claimed" on Yelp and "Verified by business owner over 3 months ago", so it would have been best if the owner updated the company's information on Yelp to explain where exactly this business/restaurant/food truck is located or if it's for special events only. It does say "Shaved Ice, Food Truck" but I thought that meant it also had a food truck in addition to a physical location/restaurant ( 27812 Loyola Ave).
