So delicious for a late night dinner! Loved the location. It also had a lot of gluten free options.

This place... THIS PLACE!!! Ambience and feel are fully crowd dependent; given that the place is open until 4am; the people watching has got to be on point! Ordered the white truffle and the Jamon gluten free pizzas; they were amazing! The restaurant offers five other different types of dough, vegan options, the works. All but one of their desserts are gluten free as well; will definitely be visiting this place again, and you should too for a delicious no frills meal. read more

Our waiter was incredibly sweet--it was his first day, and he was so cheerful and enthusiastic. We ordered a pizza with burrata, which is a must-try! It made the pizza taste so much better. Since it's located near the tourist area, it's hard to miss. read more

Awesome gluten free pizza and great staff. Love katie great deals for students. they have a separate gluten free oven for the pizzas so it's cross contamination safe and the pizza was great! Definitely get the burrata even if it's a little extra! We had lots of left overs but are excited to eat in the morning. also this restaurant has great music taste! lots of fun jams in the background. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I've never left a negative review before, but this was such a disappointing experience. Not only did Mister Pizza send us the wrong order -- meat pizzas for vegetarians, no drinks, no desserts -- but the staff yelled at us when we asked if we could come and pick up the right order. (We'd have to pay again!) We called them as soon as we saw we had the wrong order and couldn't eat it. They were most concerned about denying any responsibility, blaming it on the delivery person. (We ordered the pizzas through their website!!) They said we had to call the deliveryman to get us a fresh order... but we never had his number, so they said that they could try to call and send us a fresh meal. 45 minutes later, after our baby had fallen asleep, I called again since it never came. They said they couldn't contact the delivery person and were angry that I wanted them to try to fix it by making us a new order for free (since we had... already paid for it...) They kept on insisting it wasn't their fault, they took no blame, etc. I said I understood the wrong order was sent, but we were starving, could my husband come and pick it up. They said no, we would have to order and pay again. We asked to talk to a manager, they said no, we couldn't talk to anyone until the morning, and then began yelling at us when we tried to explain the situation. It seemed like they were suggesting we wanted to cheat them by getting free food since they already sent us pizza (even though it wasn't our order, and we couldn't eat it.) Basically, it's almost midnight and we are starving. As I said, I've never left a bad review before but I felt like this deserved an exception. read more

Walking to a leather shop and stumbled onto this place. Nice service, great pizza and cheap. It was quiet too and I needed a bit of that.

Gluten free pizza, Holy smokes good!! I've never enjoyed a pizza more in my life! We had been in Italy for a week searching for delicious gluten free food, I will never forget this margarita pizza as long as I live (: Don't let the name throw you off like it almost did us, it is amazing pizza. read more

We were tired after traveling, looking for something near our Firenze, Italy Airbnb (which is great). The name Mr Pizza kinda gave us pause, but I walked a couple blocks, and ordered 3 pizzas to go with help from friendly counter person (my Italian is quite lacking). Had a nice IPA while waiting, we agreed pizzas were very good, indeed. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered and waited an hour and there was no one there before my group. This is the second time I was here and both times I was very disappointed. Both times was with long wait times (unacceptable amount of time) and both times bad pizza. I expect more for being in Florence right by the Duomo. I will not be coming back here and would never recommend this place to anyone. If you have long wait times that is okay just be honest about it, and up your quality consistency! I never post on here let alone negative reviews but I feel like there should be better quality and service in general. I was embarrassed for everyone there. read more

Thank you Mr Pizza! I just received a delicious gluten free broccoli & sausage pizza with a gluten free beer, delivered directly to my hotel room at 10:30pm after an exhausting day! This is exactly what I need. fyi 2 pizzas and1 beer = 21 euro (not including tip)..also online menu was very easy to figure out, and paid with PayPal. Woohoo! read more

Terrible. Ordered a calzone and it was so dry. It had dry breading and then on the inside was ham with mozzarella, but the cheese was barely melted. There was a red stain of what looked like tomato sauce on top? Would not recommend. We asked the waitress for a cup of sauce to dip the breading in, but she said they don't sell that, so she wouldn't even pour more sauce on the top. read more

Holy crap, I didn't think Italy can possibly have worse pizza than in the States until I ate the prosciutto crudo from Mister Pizza. It's raining and it is almost midnight so I didn't want to head out so we got take-out instead. Man, I am totally annoyed I paid for this garbage. The pie was totally salty, the prosciutto had this wretched aftertaste and even though we asked for basil and oregano they didn't put them on the disgusting pie. Perhaps they would've made a difference. Bottom line: this wasted calories is pissing me off now.... read more

It seems that Mr Pizza is getting a lot of bad reviews from people who actually go to the restaurant. However my experience of Mr Pizza is the 2am pizza delivery deity like figure that it really is. I figured it was a necessity to write the truth about Mr Pizza so that people don't kill a perfectly good company. They have a very wide selection of pizzas which when delivered take around 40 mins to arrive. The pizzas taste fresh and seem to have good ingredients as they taste very good. Now I don't want to brag about much common sense but if a pizza tastes good after being on the back of a Vespa with a stinky Italian man smoking on it. It must taste pretty damn good when it's straight out of the oven in the restaurant. I think it's important not to try and see every restaurant as a very classy place and that being the only way for it to acquire 5 stars. In my opinion for what Mr Pizza is trying to do - which is give a cheap pizza service at fairly ridiculous hours - they do it very well indeed! read more

Pretty solid place to get pizza and they deliver if you are feeling extra lazy or need a mini vacation from vacationing. We got a pizza with sausage and pepperoni and a calzone with mozzarella and ham and they were both solid. The calzone is fantastic when you get to the middle! Pizza was a little bit overly saucy and made a small mess but was very tasty. Overall pretty solid and will probably get it again at some point. read more

Great food and service by Katy. Highly recommend adding burrata to your pizza too. 10/10

I was looking for a place that had vegan pizza in Florence. Mister Pizza did not disappoint. We were greeted by friendly staff who seated us quickly. I ordered a mixed green salad and the vegetable pizza with vegan cheese. It took only a few minutes for the salad to arrive. The salad tasted great. What I remember most was that the tomatoes were plump and juicy. The vegetable rustic pizza came 10 minutes later and was hot. The crust was really puffy, flaky and extra crispy. The vegan pizza tasted amazing. What made it extra special was that they topped off the pizza with a lot of arugula and did not put a lot of the vegan cheese on it, which Is how I like it. Another little tidbit that I liked about this place is that each table gets a basket of pizza bread instead of regular bread. This is served with very good tasting olive oil and basaltic vinegar. Yummy. This place is very vegan Friendly with options for both salads and pizza. They offer gluten free pizza too. Which is mentioned on the bottom of the menu. The restrooms are well maintained which my brother in law appreciated. Overall the food was great and was not very expensive. I would definitely return. read more

Mister Pizza is a classic establishment for young students in Florence. Usually visited at night because of their great hours, low prices, and convenient location, I decided to experience it at a regular dinner hour. I was pleasantly surprised! I went with friends and we ordered multiple pizzas. The crust was great, flavor was full, and toppings were clearly fresh. It was all for a great price as well! The location is great and easily noticed from the street due to their place marketing. Inside, it is bright and easy to carry a conversation because the tables are not too far apart. Service was great! I was a little confused because there was a man wearing a suit, but the waitress we had was great. She also informed us about some of the great deals they have! Overall, I rated mister pizza three out of the five stars because while it was great, it was simple and basic. I have also had great pizza in other areas. read more

I don't know what the bad reviews reviews are about! We went to this place today after the Italian place wee were going to eat at was closed. We happened to walk by this place and more than anything were looking to escape the heat. Once we we entered we were greeted by Veli, who has been the nicest server we have encountered in all of Italy so far. Between four of us we ordered; caprese salad, 2 pizzas and a calzone. The calzones look like the size of a baby, they are HUGE. The pizza's were also very large and oh so delicious! Veli chatted with us and was very helpful with recommendations around Florence. It's unfortunate we are only in the city for 24 hours, otherwise I know we would end up back at Mister Pizza. Or ifs the bad reviews, some people will never be satisfied. If you're in Florence, try Mister Pizza!! read more

If I could give this no stars I would. After traveling all day we just wanted simple delivery pizza to our hotel. Our expectations were not too high but what was delivered we could not even eat and we were starving. First off the lady who answers the phone shouldn't be allowed to. The pizza arrived with Mr Pizza written on the boxes with a sharpie. Odd Now on to the food..:The pizza was wet soggy and disgusting. We threw it away. Stay away from Mr Pizza! read more

A friend of ours who works at the University recommended this place for pizza. It was good, but not outstanding. I would say it was just mediocre. If you want a great pizza, go to the Mercato Centrale. Although one thing I will say, if you are gluten-free, they do have gluten-free pizza. read more

The pizza wasn't bad. But they didn't give us all the toppings that were promised on the menu. The pizza was very thin and maybe not cooked long enough. The food itself was maybe a 3.5/5 but since it wasn't as ordered, and it took a long time, I give the place two stars. read more

I have never eaten at their restaurant. I only experienced their pizza delivery. Delivery was slow, it took 1 and half hour (I live a few blocks from their restaurant and didn't imagine it could be so long). My pizza - a margherita with mozzarella di bufala - was nothing special. When it came to my door was already cold. Crust and dough were gum-like. Maybe, again, all this because they delivered long after they made it... Mozzarella di bufala tasted like regular mozzarella. read more

Mr. Pizza was a great place to eat in Florence, Italy. They're not only open past 3am but the pizza is amazing, there's something about the crust. The cheesecake is also delicious. I ordered their 4 cheese pizza and it came extremely soggy in the middle! I could only eat the outside. My friend suggested it might be normal in Italy to be softer but I have had pizza at several different places since living here and I never experienced this before. I gave three stars bc the service and delivery was good. Also the edges that I did eat were good, just sad I couldn't enjoy the rest of it. Also I forgot to mention-my pizza was supposed to come with basil and they put one (cooked to a crisp) small leaf in the center of the pizza. read more

When you are homesick for American pizza. Come here, their pizza is very similar. The biggest difference is the crust. Its crunchier and tastes more like a baguette. The pepperoni(known as salami in Italy) was a little thicker and spicer. Great prices and great service. Great start to Florence read more

Great service. The food arrived quickly and was exactly what we ordered. The Chocolate Heart we ordered was out of stock, but they called upon receiving the order and asked which item we would like to replace it--most delivery places I have ordered from substitute without asking, so I greatly appreciated this. The person on the phone spoke English well. An extra plus is that they deliver--we had our order delivered after 1am. read more

Be prepared for some super soggy/greasy pizza. They also charge a cover fee to eat there (we didn't realize till we saw the receipt). The pizza is average. I heard them say that they do not allow people to split the food. Definitely 5+ star review but the food is subpar. There are many other better pizza places. If they put some spices/seasoning on their pizza it would definitely improve it. read more

I got the funghi pizza and it was prepared quickly and was delicious. Definitely stop here for a late night snack!

Writing a throwback interview for a place I loved to hit up while I was spending time living and studying in Firenze. I have to show my love for Mr. Pizza since I lived really close by in the Piazza di Ciompi. So this place is in a very convenient spot of the city about 10 minutes or so walking from Il Duomo. Definitely a great late night spot after hitting the bars and clubs since they are open pretty late. Super late for someone who's been living in Boston for the past 6 years or so. Also, they deliver locally which is a nice touch as I don't remember having too many options while living in Firenze. How about their pizza? I'd say it's definitely pretty good for Firenze standards, awesome compared to U.S. pizza. The prices are a little under what you might expect in the immediate area (as it is pretty tourist filled in most walking distances....welcome to Firenze). I think the size of their pizza is pretty decent for what you pay and usually was good for a meal plus a little left over. Oh and did I mention that late in the evening (like early am) there's usually a good mix of young people winding down and belle ragazze di Firenze. Definitely not your first or crucial stop if just visiting Firenze for a few days. But if you find yourself spending a week or more in the glorious city, you should definitely check out Mr. Pizza. It's hard to not be satisfied. Ciao! read more
