The best pizza i had in Florence. You have to taste it. Great price! Great people. Great pizza! Ambience is kool. Very local. They close at 11pm good for mid night.

Great little pizza place off the beaten path in Florence. Super authentic and great prices. They speak English if you don't know Italian. They deliver too. It's smaller so a large group probably isn't best. Would definitely recommend and go again!

Great pizza that is made before your eyes and then cooked in a wood oven. Great value and great food!

I got the silsiccia e cippolla pizza along with a large beer, which came to a total of only 10 euro.

Great pizza spot, tucked in a quiet side street near the Uffizi Gallery. I was looking for a quick…read moretake out spot for lunch and this place came up on my Yelp search. No table service here, you order up front and wait at your table for your food to be ready. Great menu selection to choose from. I ordered the regular sized pizza topped with tomato, mozzarella, spicy calabrese salame, and mushrooms. The crust was thin and perfectly crisp. The pizza was fresh and still steaming hot when I brought it back to my hotel which was a 5 minute walk away. The pizza took about 5 minutes to make so if you're in a hurry or hangry, this place is fantastic for a quickly prepared meal.

We were very lucky to run into this pizza shop on a side street and give it a try. Luciano the…read moreowner is a hidden gem and is super kind. We ordered the #5 and the #9. The #9 was gorgonzola and pear. It came out piping hot and the cheese was almost falling off the pizza it was so fresh. This pizza has changed my understanding of what a great pizza is. Thin, delicious, not greasy, extra cheesy, and combined with the pear perfectly. I thought I'd only eat half, but easily finished all of it because it wad that mind blowing. My wife loved her pizza as well, but sure was jealous of the #9. Now on to the owner. It was just my wife and I and Luciano the owner in the store. He talked to us for a good 15 minutes after we were done eating and even gave us a fresh slice of prosciutto to try after asking if we liked Pork... just because we were talking about how fresh food makes the difference between good and bad food. Such an amazing owner that really puts passion into his product. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed with the food here!

With pizza the bread's the thing: this is the contrast between charred and pillowy bread in the same bite. An Italian strong suit like cannoli or pignoli--different textures offered at the same time. Also the tomato sauce was neither sweet, nor sour and cloying. Perfect background for the other ingredients to come through in balance with the whole experience. I wish I could take the place home with me!

This isn't a 5 star posh restaurant-it's a five star place for great Italian casual food -pizza,…read moresalad, calzone, coffee, etc. It is a small, casual, unassuming place-but don't let that fool you. The food is yummy. This is a Perfect spot for visitors touring Pitti Palace -only a few steps away from the palace and has great food, service and ambiance, at a very reasonable price. Food ; The things we tried were excellent. The pizza was great -crust was done well and had a great texture-not tough or doughy. Toppings were plenty& cheese was just right. You can buy pizza by the slice, by the standard size, or by a very large size. The Calzone was huge -stuffed with delicious ingredients and the salad was sooo fresh with a huge scoop of soft mozzarella. Yum!! The cafe latte and cappuccino were delicious. Service: Servers are pleasant and speak English as well as Italian. They offer to help tourists with the menu, (although the food translation is already right below the Italian). As in most restaurants in Italy -they don't rush you. The Chianti we ordered was not our favorite on this trip but they have 3 to choose from, and lots of other beverage choices. Facility: Very small with just a few tables along one wall, but the menu is large. A little street noise -but not bad -It's a fun place to people-watch if you are near the entrance. Location -it's just to the right of and across the street from the front of Pitti Palace. It's on a corner of an approaching street, not directly across the street from the palace. Easy to spot signage.
