I lost my keys to my apartment, and the technician came out within 40 minutes which was great. However he did not come out with a match to my current lock, and re-drilled a new lock with a new key. So I will not be able to use the same key that was issued to me from my apartment complex. It will all get worked out, but it will take me the extra time to go to the leasing office and tell them what happened. Hopefully I will not have to get another lock that matches the apartment complex lock and pay more money. I already have paid $325 tonight. Update: I went to the leasing office and dropped off the new key. They were fine with using the new lock. I had initially given this a 3 star rating, but am updating to a 4 star. It would have been a 5 star, but the hassle of having to go to the leasing office took away a star. I am very grateful that the locksmith came so quickly, but hopefully this 4 star instead of a 5 star will give them inspiration to bring a lock, for those living in apartments, that can be used with an apartment complex issued key . This would take away the hassle of having to deal with leasing offices. read more
