This car wash started off great but began having equipment and service issues in October 2023. The dryer barely dries the car, leaving excess water behind, and the vacuums have minimal suction. Especially the end units. After having my windshield replaced, I requested a new sticker for my unlimited wash membership. I informed the staff member who applied the new sticker, and she assured me the old membership was cancelled and we will not be double charged - it was simply a replacement. Fast forward to today, I noticed we're still being charged for the old membership, resulting in a years worth of duplicate charges. When I contacted Mister Car Wash corporate, I was told they would only reimburse for the last 3-months. I should've noticed earlier but assumed one charge was for my car and the other charge was for my husbands. Very disappointed with their service. If it comes up, I will suggest to my neighbors and growing community NOT to use this car wash near Costco and instead encourage the new car wash by our home. read more

This morning I was the first customer to go through the car wash at 0700 hours. The young girl/attendant was rude, and barely sprayed the drivers side of my wife's front windshield of her car. She commutes and has bugs daily smashed on her windshield. I honked my horn to try and get her attention of this employee as I was the only one in line, and she could have stopped the wash, but ignored me, and failed to spray the bug spray thuroughly on the headlights and my wife's front windshield!!! My wife just called on her commute and mentioned the front windshield wasn't clean at all??? That bug spray works when used!!! I think it's time to look elsewhere! read more

Loud, rude woman attendant where they direct you into the track this afternoon at around 1. Blonde and wearing a visor told me she couldn't control the spacing between my car and the one behind me. I am an Unlimited Premium member and have been going there for a few years now and have always been able to ask for this, she insisted that the attendants where the barriers are were the ones who controlled the spacing. Management needs to educate their employees how the carwash works and how to speak to customers. read more

I have the unlimited wash club and I have the premiere, so I can come for the deluxe wash anytime I want at any mister location. I love the vacuum and always having my black car clean. The monthly fee to use it as many times, as I want is worth it. I have been very satisfied with my washes. I usually get my car washed two or three times a week! Well worth the cost. The staff is always friendly and waves as I just drive up and the gate list because of the tag on my window. I will for sure be back next week! read more

It's like a Vegas car wash with all the colorful lights. I bet it'll be even more pretty at night. It is $30 a month for an unlimited car wash. It is a pretty good deal for a car that isn't too dirty. It won't fully clean off-roading cars or cars with caked-on dead bugs. This place is more for maintenance washing. They offer free vacuuming. Today the Manteca, Airport Way location again has 1 lane open with about 20 cars in line and guess what the wash apparently broke down. This location has been down to one lane for weeks now. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable. Was supposed to receive a call from the the manager this week and never did. In response to CS, no one ever called or solved this issue. Management really needs to assess the customer journey from the time a customer pulls onto the property until they leave the property. Every time I come here there is either a long delay (mechanical breakdown) not enough staff. Today they had to drain the water out of the (pit) car wash. That should done automatically at night (automated equipment) not at 7am in the morning when customers (commuters) are lined up waiting. There are times when certain brushes inside the wash are not fully functional or the tire shine is not dispensing product (one side only) or not enough soap in applied at the beginning of the wash cycle. In short "this place SUCKS". I pay a monthly subscription for EVERYTHING to be fully functional during business hours.Get it together Prime Shine there is more competition coming to town and they seem to have there $@&% together . read more

I've been a member since this Prime Shine days. Now it's Mister Car Wash. Why in the world would this business decide to take more than half of the air blowers out at the end of the drive-thru drying process. I now have to hand dry my car at the end of every wash. If I don't, I have water spots everywhere. What was the reason behind this bad decision?? I now have to make the car wash my last stop no matter what, so I can go home and dry my vehicle. I received an email informing me that my rate would be increasing. I called and canceled my membership. The process was easy although I did have to wait to speak to an agent. They were very polite and professional. What they did not do was ask why. So here is why. I have been using Mister Wash for several years in locations in both Manteca and Modesto. Early on things were great. Over time the equipment has deteriorated. This includes no suction, little suction, no vacuum service and scrubbing brushes that do not always work. The blow function to dry the vehicle is less than stellar. Some locations have had missing equipment at the vacuum stations. I have put up with the inconvenience, but I now refuse to pay higher prices for services NOT RENDERED. In addition, the layout and flow of traffic through their facilities is an engineering marvel (OR LACK THEREOF). I had enjoyed the convenience of Mister Wash, but they need to invest and upgrade their equipment to stay competitive. read more

I took my SUV to get washed today 04/15/2023 I paid $22.00. After the wash the car was still dirty the tires did not get cleaned or shined. I instantly got another free wash. SUV was still dirty tires were not cleaned or shined. This place started good and now it is not worth it. I took my SUV to Clear Drop Car Wash to finally get it cleaned for $15.00. I do the membership and I feel it's the best deal. Only issue I've had is sometimes the suction in the vacuums was super low so they didn't suck as hard as the manager!!! Lmao....j/k about the manager thing but the suction WAS low for about a month! The operators are always pleasant to me, too! That's always a plus!!! read more

Paid $22 to have my car washed and this is what I got. Dirty! Their facilities are the same as when they were Prime Shine but the quality is so much poorer! The back of my car is often still dirty (this time was shockingly bad). I am done going here! read more

I am canceling my unlimited car wash till these guys stop ripping us off..... I was driving back from Los Angeles and got off in Bakersfield and by my surprise there was a new Mister thought hey I will get a quick wash.... what a difference this place was automated gates and Express lane for memebers.... and the wash was ten times better and actually cleaned my car much more brushes etc.. What they did to the prime shines and dumbed them now is appalling.... and is nothing like there locations down south.... I will not be returning until they can give us the same quality here.... Not at all like prime shine, they replaced. Left my car still real wet and a whole part above my trunk dirty as seen in pictures! Beyond that it ripped off a silver plastic part above my licence plate! About a week ago, pulled in needing a car wash not realizing that this place was no longer Prime Shine as I was running a little behind schedule so wanted a quick car wash before work. Place was dead like only one car ahead and only one car using vacuum outside. Told attendant i wanted the premiere wash only to be told that they swapped over. I was confused to only realize that it's no longer Prime Shine but Mister Car Wash. Chose the $16 wash. Didn't have time to really read the package and price point. Now comes the bad part. Like another reviewer stated, they pull you in close, like really close to the other car. Like a few feet apart from bumper to bumper. Understandable when it's busy but it was dead so no reason to have cars that close to each other in case something happens. Next bad part is my car did come out washed, but at what cost? Just like other reviews this place clean and destroy your car at the same time. Not even a thorough clean at that. Damaged the paint on my hood like it was keyed. So disappointing. Again like someone else stated, Prime Shine made you feel welcome, or atleast gives off that family business vibe. This place just gives off that cheap yet expensive vibe that's just there to make money and could care less about your satisfaction as long as they get your $$$. Beside that, Prime Shine does a better job at actually cleaning your car at just $12 for their best wash while this place at their $16, i believe is their middle package, couldn't even achieve. Don't even what to know what their top package had to offer. Probably destroy your car more but since you payed top $$$ for their top of the line wash, you'll probably won't pay attention to what damages has occurred rather just be in awe for getting the top wash. At the price point, would rather go else where. Probably get a better and cleaner wash at Arco gas station like someone stated at a cheaper price point. But hey if you got the money and want to feel like you're ballin on a car wash and ruin your car at the same time, this the best place to come. R.I.P. Prime Shine. You didn't sell out. When this was prime shine it was a great car wash Ever since Mr Mister has taken over the quality is gone from a 10 to a 2. It never cleans the hood of a standard pickup truck that is all factory I have to wash the hood every time, at each different location The rinse water leaves spots. Prime shine never left spots. Usually it's okay in the wait, but this morning was ridiculous at 9am July 03. There was only one cashier and the cars started to back up waiting. The only lane that was moving was the "unlimited" lane. After 15min and the cashier still talking to same same car.. I gave up.. Horrible attention to the needs of the customer.
