Okay so this is my first experience with a professional car detailer, and I'm sure it wont be my last. When I picked up my car I felt like I was driving it brand new off of the lot. The reason I was looking to get a detail in the first place is that someone threw up in my car earlier this week. I did my best to clean it on my own but it was not enough, and this was the place who could get me in the soonest. Not only does my car NOT smell like vomit anymore, it in fact smells like nothing at all. It's that kind of clean. Ready to smell however I want with my own air fresheners. I love that. What really drove me to write this review though was the perfect evidence of a thorough job. There is a small opening in my center console where there should be a cover but it has went missing somewhere along the way. Anyways, when I first bought this car a year ago I dropped a cashew down into it and could never get it out. I would have never thought to check and see if it was still there, but while I was admiring this excellent work I noticed it was GONE. I have no idea how this man removed said cashew but I am going to chalk it up to magic. On top of it all, I crammed my bicycle into my car for alternate transportation during this service, and without me asking he helped me get it out and then back into my car. Follow up on my review - I have since gone to another detail shop and for $200 they were able to remove the water spots that Manteca Auto Detailing was not able to as well as fix the damage caused to the paint by Brian at Manteca Auto Detail. Now I am working with my credit card company to get the $154.20 I paid Manteca Auto Detail refunded (glad I paid by credit card for the buyer protection) While I have been told I could sue them in small claims for both amounts I don't want to go through that, I just want my money back now that I have everything resolved and my car is back to it's normal shine! Quick lesson, always pay for any service by credit card just in case the end result is worse than what you started with. read more

I have a dark blue nissan maxima and next door neighbor used a power sprayer to stain his fence so car ended up with red fence stain all over it. Went and got an estimate to have exterior detailed and stain removed. Price was reasonable and comparable to other places. Scheduled appt to have car done, I had to cancel rescheduled for next day but again I was unable to make appt. but forgot to call and cancel, few days later went in and rescheduled and was no problem they knew who I was and had no problems with prior cancelations. Dropped off car on day of appt and later that afternoon went to pick up, noticed there were still a few spots of stain still on the car Brian apologizes and said to bring it back tomorrow and he will take care of it. Took car back picked up few hours later and car looks great no more red stain marks.. Outstanding job I highly recommend them.. Took my Kia Soul in for the works after a fishing trip where we drove through dirt farm roads and a sandy levee. Tracked it all inside and out. Picked up my car in the afternoon. Spectacular results. Looks like I just drove it off the car lot. Under the hood, the entire engine compartment including the engine sparkles. Very fair price for the job! read more

Took my black car here looking like crap with hard water marks and scratches all over it. I was amazed when I got it back, it looked like brand new (except for the few deep scratches which I did not expect to come out). The interior was equally impressive. I have a black Infinity which was left outside of the garage for about 6 months and was heavily covered with hard water spots on one side. Brian & his assistant didn't give me any false hopes of having it back to showroom but he would do his best. All I can say is my car is beautiful!!! The attention to detail was remarkable and his customer service was impeccable. I will be taking my car back to him every six months for a detail wax just to keep it up. This place is not a joke but a SUPER DUPER joke. Worst service ever. I have Toyota Thundra, My Toyota was almost clean but its been long time I didn't clean (detailing) so thought let it get detailing. I paid him $154.00 by Credit Card. but this guy (Manteca Auto Detailing) didn't cleaned anything. He cleaned my driver seat and driver side front carpet thats all. he didn't cleaned my passenger seat and back seat and didn't touched or cleaned my roof. When I asked him that he didn't cleaned my seats, I clearly see spots on carpet. He explained these spots are deep that they are not gonna go away. I said try in front of me, he tried and spots were gone. That means he didn't even tried cleaning my pickup. His job is just to take money. THATS ALL. I don't know what to do any advice please..... Took my truck in for the works. $275, $25 of which was because the truck is black. Showed him a few spots I wanted extra attention paid to, a few scratches, most of which should have pretty easily buffed out. Came back a few hours later and the truck looked nice, however the scratches remained. It didn't look like too much attention was paid to them really. They did look better, but equally as better as the entire truck looked. All but a 1 or 2 should have been buffed out. Engine bay looked good. Interior looked good. After driving away, I did notice some white substance splattered on the front doors, looked like it dripped out of the mirrors and the wind splattered it onto the doors. It wiped off easily though. Not entirely disappointed but for the cost, I will probably try elsewhere. read more

This place is a joke. I had seen the mix reviews and I was skeptical about taking my Gray 2011 Honda Civic to Manteca Auto "Detailing" and I was right. The only reason why I did is because I wanted to support local business in town. For a $250 Full service "detail" I feel ripped off, they have no care for costumer satisfaction, the job was rush with no attention to "detail" the job description says it all Auto (detailing) Brian needs a dictionary to know the meaning of the word. The wax job was mediocre felt and look like it was hand wax not with a polish machine, some spots in the interior where not even wipe, upholstery was only clean in certain areas, a spot that he had told me would not come off I was able to take it off with upholstery cleaner when I got home he didn't even clean my engine bay. Pointed it out to him and told him if he needs the car longer no rush he can keep it as long as he needs, he said he would fix it, came back again some things where done but most was half ass, Brian just wants to get the cars in and out and get the cash, don't support businesses like this also while I was there I also saw a white hummer come back to get re-work. NO PRIDE IN WORKMANSHIP!!!! Should have read the reviews...took my car at 10am on a Friday and they called to let me know it was finished at 3:30p. When I arrived there seemed to be a tense exchange between Brian and another customer. The outside of the car seemed to look good, and I noticed most of the stains on the inside had been removed. However as I was driving home, I noticed wax had been left on the emblem of my steering wheel, grime had been left by the emergency break, and upon closer inspection dirt was left on the door, the plastic base of the seat was completely missed on the driver door and covered in dirt. When I opened the trunk there was dirt in the trunk opening. All in all the evidence showed no pride in workmanship. Do not take your vehicle here. I took my Mazda I had just purchased there for a detail. The car had been sitting for a while so it need some attention. Brian quoted me $250 for a full detail. Brian was pretty cool to be ok with my wife coming to pick him up and take him to get my car at the house while I was at work and he is a nice enough guy so he get one star for that. I had pointed out some scratches and decals I wanted removed, along with some clear coat damage from some other stickers that had been removed. Brian called me later on Firday to say that removing the stickers was peeling the paint and he wanted to know if I wanted him to continue, I asked if there was any other way to remove them without damaging the paint his answer was no, so I told him to proceed, because I wanted them gone. He called me on Saturday to tell me my car was finished. When I arrived I inspected the car and it was terrible. I expected the paint to be peeled everywhere the stickers where but it was only chipped in a few spots as if he had tried to use a tool that chipped my paint all the way to the bumper. There was sun flower seeds still in my door, the vents were dirty, there was still wax on the car, the front grill had no shine on it, there was molding shine on the windows, cleaner/gloss splattered on the door, among other things, I pointed them out to him and he took care of them. So I paid and left. When I got home I started to inspect it a little more in the sun light and it was a bad job. Under the seats wasn't even touched, there was guck down in around the parking break and the P, R, N, D indicators, the vents were STILL dusty, there was dust in my steering wheel, the door jams were dirty, the carpet was still dirty and my engine looked like it had been steam cleaned just wiped down. So I waited until Monday since he was closed and called him (I really didn't want to write this review, I just wanted to handle things with him privately in a reasonable manner) and told him that I didn't feel that the job I received was worth the price I paid. He said that He had spent a lot of time on removing the decals and trying to buff out where some else had previously removed the some stickers and peeled the clear coat (which he didn't look any better than it did before, though he said he could improve it). I explained all the things that had been left undone (I spent 3 hours at home completing the stuff left incomplete) and he told me that he spent a lot of time on my car and that I got my moneys worth. First off I didn't set his price and his price was for a full detail, something I did not receive. If you quote a price for a job and you under quote it, that's your fault and you eat it on that job. It happens to me in my business sometimes, but giving good customer service is more important, not at Manteca Auto Detail. I should have just not paid or done a better job of inspecting the car when I was still there. But really I shouldn't have to do that! The very name "detail" expresses attention to every little thing, thoroughness, but apparently not to Brian. The really messed up part was I wasn't even expecting a full refund, since I realized that He actually had time invested into my car, i just want to pay less since I didn't get a complete job, but nope. BOTTOM LINE DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE NOT WORTH THE HASSLE! TRUST ME! read more
