I've visited this location several times with several vehicles. I'll be honest, my first visit didn't go well as an absolutely clueless driver ahead of me ended up jamming carwash and prompting the employees to have to intervene to get everyone through. Because of the delay, without even asking, I was given a gift card for several free washes as an apology. I decided to take them up on it and I've continued to go back ever since. Service has always been good and the wash itself is great. I'm thinking about canceling my membership, every time I come it never seems to scan my car to proceed , a person always comes up and asks if I have a membership they say yeah and almost every single time they ask to see my card or charge as if I'm lying WTF. It automatically deducts from my card every month never late or miss a payment it's so annoying to have to prove I have a membership when it should automatically know that I do. I never got a sticker or anything. Matter of fact when I first signed up it was also an issues. Some of the people there are really nice and some are really rude. I decided to take my car in for a wash. The first staff member I encountered was quite helpful, but the second one was surprisingly rude. As I approached the car wash, he began making snarky comments and directing me haphazardly with my tire. My tire initially climbed over the edge but then slipped into the groove. Given that I have low-profile tires, this resulted in a ding and scratch on my rim. I've never had such an issue at any other car wash, and I've visited several in the area that have always maintained a professional standard. My husband and I have been customers for over 5 years now, and lately we have not been happy with how some of the younger generation have been treating us as customers. We have never experienced such low level of customer service, with team members disappearing in and out of what appears to be an office door as well as disrespectfulness of our vehicles. Specifically, a very tall, young blonde big boy has been mine and my husband's main concern. We have witnessed him scrubs cars while on his phone. After scrubbing he throws his brushes and other equipment then disappears. It seems as if he is very unhappy with his job and lacks interest in caring for other people's property. This has not been just a one time occurrence it has been going on for a few months now. She has water on her mirrors and windshield and back windows as well. I frequent this car wash and have always been pleased with how my car turns out. I went through on Tuesday, to get the ash from the fires off my car. When I arrived at my office less than a mile away I went to dry my car fully with a microfiber towel, it still had ash stuck to the paint. I was unable to go back immediately due to a meeting. I called and spoke with a very pleasant and helpful employee named Daniel. I cheerfully told me to bring it back and they would wash it again for free. Unfortunately, I could not get back until the next day. When I arrived the next day, several employees took their time to make sure to scrub all the ash off my car before running it through the car wash again. Stopped here today for the first time. I live by now Mister Car Wash on Lathrop so that had always been my go to. Well now that Prime Shine is now Mister car wash their prices have jumped up significantly which I was not happy to see. With that being said due to this pandemic Mister is closed and my car needed a wash BAD. I was doing a target pick up today and decided to try this place out. I was pleasantly surprised with their pricing. I did the $12 wash which is their highest wash minus the tire shine. $13 for the same wash including tire shine so only $1 more.. not bad. When trying to purchase my wash at the kiosk the kiosk froze so the gentleman ran my card inside. I didn't catch his name but he was very nice. I was again surprised that the front bumper.. windshield.. sides of my car.. read bumper and rear windshield were all scrubbed quickly by an actual person before heading into the car wash tunnel. Compared to Mister car wash's half assed bubble spray and into the tunnel you go. Absolutely no effort from their employees at Mister. Upon exiting the tunnel the dryers actually did a great job and my car only had a few streaks of water still as expected. My car looked great for a quick drive through wash though! The entrance is on Yosemite Avenue, and you need to drive toward the back of the business, around the bakery. I expected a person at the back to take my money, but there is an automated machine before you reach the back. The $12.00 wash was shown to be $3.00 off, at $9.00. I also had a Yelp check-in coupon for a Free Tire Polish or some such service. Once you pay, you drive around the back and a person will greet you. That person asked if "we" could remove my bike rack. (I had left my bike at home.) I replied that they could remove it, if they had the tools for it. Then, he said that he would "walk behind" the car to make certain that it wasn't tangled in the mechanism. Actually, there was no problem with the mechanism and it did a reasonable job. I was scared and hesitant to return however after email exchange with Kevin (Manager) I did return to give Clear Drop another try. I admit, my 1st visit back was successful and I was happy with my wash. The 2nd code I was sent I gave to my Roomate and he also was pleased. Today I returned again, and I'm back to square one. I used the yelp code to receive $3 off the highest level wash. The cars were packed in like sardines, and what's interesting is that although I paid for the higher wash, as I'm sure many did, they don't do anything different to each car entering. So, I paid essentially for nothing extra. I went though, my SUV made it without getting stuck...BUT my car was still filthy and I had to wait so long to use the vacuum area I had dried water spots before I even got to park. I took photos after of areas that look like they weren't washed at all. Huge waste of money overall. read more

I washed my BMW today around noon. They didn't brush the front of my SUV and it had a lot of water spots. I went around to go through again and the attendant couldn't get the cars lined up on the automatic conveyor and he had a Range Rover stuck in the middle of the wash equipment. read more

My car (brand new 2018 cruz) was very clean after the wash Went to dry off all the little water spots and got to vacuum for free. I've been a customer here for years with a monthly membership with 2 vehicles and came out every week. Recently I sold my truck & wife's car and purchase 2 new ones. On one accession I took my new car to the wash, after the wash I dried it myself at the vacuum station like always and didn't notice anything unusual; well it rained that evening so the next morning I had some time and headed back to the car wash this time while I was drying it I noticed scratches all over the trunk and side of my car (that was clearly not there the day before). The supervisor onsite took a incident report and said he would turn it in to the manager. A few days later I received a call from the manager his response was - it's impossible that happened there because they never have claims and that I was being untruthful, I tried explaining my side of the incident but he was not hearing it, needless to say they did not take any responsibility and I stopped my monthly subscription. Best car wash in town. You can always reuse the check-in code to get the premium wash! It may seem a little peculiar that the car wash is connected to a mom and pop bakery/restaurant, which is really good for brunch by the way, but it's awesome! They have two lanes to check your car in. There's usually an attendant that helps you with your selection and they also hand you some wipes for the interior of the car, a major PLUS+++! As you enter the car wash, they scrub out the hard stuff to wash and the fun begins! I, for one, enjoy car washes and this one is just like a show with all the colors and lights! They have super drying air blowers that almost get all the wet spots off. When the signals gives you the go, you are then off to the vacuums! I like that they have little clips to hang your car mats to make sure you can clean the underside and the mats super well. Overall, it's always a great experience at this car wash. I used to go to Prime Shine, but no longer! The prices here are cheaper, better quality wash, free powerful vacuums, and a machine that cleans your mats!!! I stopped by to go to the cafe, but it was closed. I happened to meet Hercules, the car wash owner. He treated me like I was his first customer ever! I have never had that level of customer service ever! He sent my car through the car wash twice because he wanted me happy with his business. He showed me the free vacuums and the mat cleaner. I didn't even know a mat cleaner existed! With the rain and mud it made a difference in my decision to continue to be a customer there. My whole family goes here now!
