Visited this Jiffy Lube yesterday March 14th, 2026 for a standard oil change. Overall the service was good, no issues. The only thing was the woman who appeared to be the shop manager/supervisor giving an employee a full performance review in front of other workers and customers. I learned a lot about the poor guy, where he was doing well at his job and certainly the long list of areas of improvement in labor management and shop cleanliness... I ended up stepping out and waiting outside the rest of the time since she went on for about 20+ minutes. Again, out in the open in front of other workers and customers. Geez. They'd put the wrong size air filter in. Like, how?! Then to add insult to injury, I contacted customer care. They were slow to respond, have had my complaint WITH PHOTOS for 10 days and SILENCE... Avoid this place at all costs! I visited on October 27 for a simple oil change and left with significant issues. They had an inexperienced employee who didn't properly replace the oil filter on my vehicle, causing oil to leak down onto my starter. As a result, I experienced a bad leak and starter issues. I returned a few days later after noticing the leak and starter issues. The manager, Annette, acknowledged the mistake, took responsibility, and assured me they would resolve the issue. She even mentioned that the regional manager had visited the day before due to similar complaints, and employee had to be taught how to properly do oil changes. Peter, the assistant manager, cleaned the affected areas and stated leak and starter are now clean and problem should be fixed. Annette also mentioned that if further cleaning was required, they would send me to their Stockton HUB location, which was better equipped to handle it. That morning, they assured me that if any further issues arose, they would send me to a mechanic and cover the costs. However, on November 11, my vehicle completely broke down, and would no longer turn on. I had to have it towed back home from my daughter's practice. I called jiffy lube that evening 15 mins before closing and spoke to worker advising what occurred. He stated manager wasn't on duty, and would relay message. The following morning I stopped by, and spoke to Peter who was unprofessional and dismissive. They refused to accept responsibility, despite the clear connection between the oil leak and my starter failure. Annette provided me with a customer service number and said she will start the claim. Unfortunately, I've been calling customer service for over 2 weeks now with no response. A certified mechanic has since confirmed that the starter failure was caused by the oil leak. I have my invoice and evidence, yet Jiffy Lube continues to ignore me. This experience has been unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and unprofessional staff are not worth the risk. If I can give 0 stars I would! read more

I showed up for an assistant manager interview at this Jiffy Lube after receiving multiple automated text messages directly to my phone reminding me of my appointment time, telling me not to be late, and even explaining where to park. I drove about twenty minutes to get there, checked in, and then waited 10 to 15 minutes while employees tried to find the manager. When someone finally came out, I was told they actually weren't hiring for the position I applied for at all. There was no apology, no empathy, and no acknowledgment that they wasted my time and gas. On top of that, the only job they were hiring for was a lower-level position at a lower pay than what was advertised. If this is the level of courtesy and communication they give to potential employees, I can't imagine how bad the service must be for their customers. This kind of disorganization and disregard for people's time is unacceptable, and it speaks volumes about how this place is being run. This was the worst oil change I've ever had. The first guy told me a certain price and told me it would be about 30 mins. I left for about 5 mins and he called me saying it would be 5-10 more mins so to come on back and I'd be out very quick. So I came back and ended up waiting an hour and twenty minutes (total). If I would have known I would have continued running my errands. Total waste of time. He was telling me my car needed all these things done to it. One being a new air filter. I told him that I had just gotten it replaced and then he quickly changes his response to "oh well yeah I mean it doesn't look so bad you can probably get away with one more oil change before getting it replaced" okay cool I don't feel like you're just trying to sell me at all. Never coming here again. Also the guy (different guy) who rang me up increased the price by $20 and then made it seem like he was doing a courtesy to me by bringing it only $5 lower than what the first guy had told me. read more

At the time of this review, this Jiffy Lub has a 3.4 star rating and I believe even thats too generous. This is very much a "churn and burn" kind of shop and it shows. First off, be aware that the prices listed are "start at" prices which means the cheapest price doesn't include labor. So, if you opted for the cheapest oil change, you will be charged the "start at" price + labor = THE REAL ACTUAL PRICE. Secondly, they will always try to upsell you no matter what. So be aware they will be suggesting you need a new cabin filter, engine air filter, or even a transmission servicing if they sense ignorance. They tried to sell me a new engine air filter even though mine was SPOTLESS and recently changed unbeknownst to them. Thirdly, when I went to leave they do the whole "let's show you your oil level" routine. I don't mind that. But what made it hilarious was they didn't even clean the dipstick before showing me. So basically when they pulled the dipstick, oil was all the way up past the indicators due to running the engine to pull my vehicle out of the bay. Then they kinda just gave me "see, full" eyes even though there was no way of knowing what the oil level actually was. I just smiled and said "okay" knowing I would never be going back. Fourth, customer service was big time lacking from most of the team, not all. Also, since when did quick lubes start making you go inside the waiting room? I miss being able to sit in my car during lube service. Clearly this Jiffy Lub location just wants to make profit as quickly and easily as possible and offer zero value or quality. But their poor customer service, minimal competency, upselling tactics, and average prices make them impossible to recommend. There are still local garages that can give you way more value for your hard earned money. So just avoid Jiffy Lub for your next service. read more

Left thinking the service went great, but shortly after leaving the "change oil" light and "tire pressure" indicators flashed on and have not shut off. I called and it was obvious that the tire pressure was not checked. Now I'm second guessing if oil was actually changed out. UPDATED REVIEW: Please Read Below. Jiffy lube made an honest mistake (they forgot to put back on my radiator reservoir cap and ultimately caused engine damage to my Hybrid Car. In the end (Recap of incident below), Jiffy Lube ended up owning up to their mistake and paid to have my car fixed. My advice after getting your car serviced is to look under the hood and make sure all caps are on and secured. Not just at Jiffy Lube but anywhere you get your car serviced. Story of what happened (Written on 8/3/21) I went to Jiffy Lube a few months ago. I had an oil change and now I need a new engine. Tech apparently forgot to put radiator reservoir cap back on (not radiator cap but reservoir where you add in radiator fluid) 2 months later after driving 2500 miles with no, I repeat no issues, my car engine light came on. I pulled over and found cap (see pictures below) sitting apparently where tech last placed it under the hood and not back on. I now need over $13,000 worth of work (new engine and manifold). Again no sign of trouble at all. Car is still new 2018 Hybrid with only 29,000 miles. Initially Jiffy Lube said they would not pay because their mechanic said the car could not be driven that distance without some sign or alert. I think after talking with the Dealer and the Technician that accessed the damage, Jiffy Lube changed their mind and said that they would pay for the repairs to my car. Great customer service here! I came in for a full synthetic oil change and they helped me out! I think my total was 111 but then after a coupon that Evan applied it was $91. I was also greeted by an upbeat older Asian gentleman and he was so nice and helpful. Both employees were awesome! This location has been my go to for my oil change and cabin filter replacement. They're always busy so I would recommend you go as soon as they open. They're always a line up of cars for service but they have great customer service and always gets me in and out as quick as possible regardless of a line. If you're looking for a new spot to go to this would be a great option. Their prices are reasonable also. But one major thing I did noticed while I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced it was super nice and cool inside with air conditioning blasting I appreciate that very much it was nice and comfortable inside the waiting room. BUT It was over 100 degrees today but I felt horrible just sitting there can't help but think about those poor employees that are working on my vehicle and other customers vehicles are busting their behind out in that heat! Corporate should really consider having some sort of heat relief for their hard working employees outside there. So they don't create heat exhaustion I can't imagine being in over triple digits degrees and working and doing what their doing. I tip my hat off to them all. Had an oil change yesterday and when I drove off my tire pressure light came on. It wasn't on prior to my oil change. I'm not accusing them of damaging my tire, though they could have. My issue is they listed on the inspection list that all tires were inspected (35psi) which was a lie. I really hope my tire just needs air and they didn't ruin it. My light turned on immediately. For what they charge, this was very disappointing. They did offer to put air in my tire, lol. Les Schwab is 2 min away and they do it for free so that but no thanks. I'll save my gas. read more

came at peak time, already had 8 cars in front of me but everywhere else was just as busy so i decided to wait. took me about 1.5hrs to get out which in my opinion isn't bad considering how many cars were ahead of me. disappointed in the techs however because they pulled out 2 filters to show me/try and sell me new ones but did not put them back correctly. heard a very loud screeching noise. don't take something out if you can't put it back correctly. also i had already known my horn did not work and my taillight recently went out. on their "review" they give you before your service they told me everything including those things were working fine. i corrected the tech and said that's a lie. wasn't very happy with that because what else could they just be skimming over simply to get cars in and out? not just to me but anyone else who comes in and doesn't realize there is a problem with their vehicle. we are entrusting you to let us know the things that are wrong we do not see THAT IS YOUR JOB. would not recommend coming here unless you are very aware of your cars condition. they wouldn't let you know if soemthing was wrong anyways (leaks, lights out, horn not working) read more

The guy showing you where your car stands during oil change needs to explain why he pulls your filters out. It was my first time there so he kind of threw me off guard when he had my engine air filter in his hand. I asked why because I wanted to make sure he didn't put a new one in I just wanted an oil change, i put two and two together and realize they just take it out to show you it's current status. Which is fine but I wish he would of said "We just pull it out to show you it's current status." That would of been great. I never seen that done before. I can tell he thought I was trying to press him about it. Also they said my coolant was good but I know it was a lil lower than what it needed to be ... wish they would of asked to top it off. I wanted to give these guys a higher rating because the guy who helped us is really personable, but we drove away a little disappointed. We went in for an oil change on a Sunday... which I feel like is a plus for them because a lot of car places are not open on Sundays. They are pricier than other places I frequent for oil changes... even with a $25 coupon. But seeing as I was in a mindset to get things done on a Sunday, I didn't mind paying a bit more for my convenience factor. The service probably took about 30 minutes (but we did have to wait a little bit for our car's turn). The car was vacuumed and windows were washed. Nice. But we knew the coolant level was low and so was the washer fluid when we brought it in. Before driving off, we even asked about the coolant and was told bc the car takes a different coolant than what they have in store, they didn't add any bc they didn't want it to coagulate. Ok, fine, I'm no expert so I accepted it. But the service paper I received back had it marked as "checked and ok". You would also think a car shop would hold the same kind of coolant needed for my car as it isn't an uncommon model. Or at least you can mention it without us having to ask. "Added" was also marked for the washer fluid. We stopped at O'Reillys afterwards to buy me the "appropriate" coolant to top off my fluid level. That's when we noticed the washer fluid was still low as well. So two things were checked as ok/added but they weren't. It makes me think what other things are checked as done but weren't really done. Did I even really get an oil change? I'm half kidding with that question. It's a shame, because they made me feel real comfortable going to them but those two things made me doubt the whole service experience. read more

Had to get my moms super retro 99 van for an oil change. They were fairly quick to get that going. Was out of there in less than an hour. They had me review their service and told me what wrong with the van and signed through a tablet. Sounded accurate to me considering how old and how often it's driven. Aside from changing oil they let you know if u want your engine/cabin filter change and they will show you how it looks from ok-to-bad. Also checking battery performance. Had a rough experience today at Jiffy Lube, Manteca. My wife was doing errands today while I was at work. She wanted to go get an oil change at Jiffy Lube. I didn't see an issue with that but ultimately they took advantage of her lack of knowledge on cars. A typical oil change would cost about $50 these days, but they talked her into a fully synthetic oil change which "starts" at $106.99. Just to be clear, also not a big deal. That is about the running price at most locations. I was expecting her to get in and out of there for $125. No issues. Then, they recognized she had a 2012 Volkswagen and it needs a special type of high mileage synthetic oil only for European cars +$80, then said her cabin air filter was bad and needed an air filter because she was breathing in toxins, +$87, oh and your battery terminals look like they have corrosion that could lead to you being stranded, +20. Oh, here is a -$25 coupon. Needles to say, $251+ later. My concern is not that the oil change process costs too much but the way they pray on the uniformed "women" and see a potential target. The inside of the location does not advertise any of these prices, they are only for their prey. Please do not let an uninformed member of your family fall victim to a predatory business like this. When I asked for the Manager to explain the pricing to me, he said I needed to leave the property and he was going to call the police. Probably because he was targeting other females in the lobby. read more
