From start to finish, the experience was outstanding! Arif was extremely professional and thorough. He explained exactly what needed to be done without any upselling or unnecessary extras and walked us through all of our options for both issues. On repair day, Fernando and his crew were prompt, arriving at 8:30 AM just as agreed. They repaired the damaged flashing properly and corrected the siding installation the right way. THEIR WORK IS ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS! Not only was the crew professional, but they cleaned up completely after themselves and finished on time just as promised. We already have other projects lined up and know exactly who we're calling. Highly recommend them if you need someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in doing it right!

American Window undercut the estimates of the other two vendors by a substantial margin. We also really liked they only asked for a modest down payment. Jay was our sales contact at American Windows and he was absolutely great. He has an engaging personality, and kept all his commitments to us. We appreciated that when installation day came, he swung by to ensure all was going well. Oh, how did the installation go? It was fantastic. Not only did the windows and door come earlier than promised, the American Windows crew came on time and worked quickly and professionally. We were amazed that the whole job only took 4 1/2 hours to complete. The windows and door materials are high quality and we are very satisfied with the results.

Due to the nature of what needed to be fixed, insurance wasn't going to cover it, and their technician was charging... well, a lot. I have seen the name Calderon Contractors for years, and roofing is one of the many things they do. So I went ahead and reached out, using the quote service here on Yelp. Elmer, the owner, reached out relatively quickly. I didn't get to meet him, but he was my main point of contact. First visit to my house was from a guy named Hector, and was very kind, professional, and I described what the issue was and he had a look for himself. After his visit, it wasn't long before Elmer reached out with a quote, and we moved forward. Hector ended up being the one to do all the work, and it was efficient. As far as I can tell, the leak is sealed and I can paint whenever I'm ready. Thank you Elmer, Hector, and the rest of the Calderon Contractors staff!

I got several quotes from other gutter replacement groups in the area, and when I first met Charlie I instantly knew he is who I wanted to hire to replace our very cool (but old and failing) front gutter. He was always prompt, got us on the books quickly, explained everything throughly, his crew (AND him) were at my house 30 mins early for the job, and everyone was very respectful and cleaned up after the job was completed. Charlie even helped me better understand my home beyond the gutters (and gutter guards). On top of all of that, the quote was just slightly higher than the cheapest quote I got--absolutely worth it. They even went the extra mile by replacing the neighboring shutter as well, just in case there was any fade difference between new and old. A special shoutout to Charlie, who helped us and also did the work -- he was amazing! Extremely communicative, kind, and respectful. He kept us informed every step of the way and truly cared about getting everything perfect. This may have been a small project, but they treated it with first-class service. For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Highly recommended.

My project was complicated because my 1980s drywall shafts were the wrong size for modern solar blinds. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. It is not a simple fix but an upgrade, for free. See the attached before/after pictures and the broken plastic. Like most customers, I contacted a few contractors before selecting Winfield Builders. Their price is VERY reasonable, and the communication through Yelp was professional and transparent. It is rare to find a contractor who cares this much about the details. If you want a crew that is honest, skilled, and delivers a beautiful finish, call Zach. 1000% recommendation!

I could not be happier than to give Beyond Exteriors five very-full stars. From start to finish,…read moreAndrew, George, BeLinda, Linda, and the entire Beyond Exteriors team have been great to work with and I am proud to have given them my business. If you don't read anything else, right up front I want to say that I recommend Beyond Exteriors without reservations. When we bought our historical home, the inspector told us that metal roofs can last forever and we should be happy the home had one. Well, once the leaks started and we had a professional roofer evaluate the situation (taking photos, as he said, of "how to install a metal roof the wrong way"), we knew that our home and investment were at stake and we wanted to get the right people to help us. We went the whole nine yards, meeting with multiple roofers to get an assessment and project estimates, following up to get comparable project specs and costs, and finding out as much background on the companies as possible; without question Beyond Exteriors demonstrated their expertise and professionalism throughout and their reputation for quality work is well documented. Beyond Exteriors was uniquely willing, able, and eager to think of the entire project cohesively, through three types of roofing materials, moving roof penetrations, installing insulation, and coordinating gutters. We must've emailed with Andrew about every detail of the job, more than a dozen times in total, and to his great credit he patiently helped us learn about our own roof, best practices, and quality and budget considerations. Once the contract was signed, Linda and BeLinda kept us appraised of the status of getting City permits and architectural review, as well as the forecasting of our start date; they were always a pleasure to talk to. On site, George seamlessly managed the team, communicated the how's and why's of the work, and answered any questions we had. And did we have questions -- we're analytical people putting our home and money on the line, and George could not have been any more understanding, thoughtful, and helpful, always concerned about doing things right way and explaining that way to us. Of course, the crews deserve a lot of the thanks (special shout out to the amazing Jose who came by on a Sunday to confirm the roof was ready for a rain storm before the full project finished), and it's clear the focus on quality extends to every member of the Beyond Exteriors team. The last of the punch-list was finished today and I'm already on Yelp to provide them with an outstanding review. The roof and gutters look great and, most importantly, were installed well. And that's not just my opinion (and the opinion of several neighbors who have shared their compliments): an independent, certified roof inspector we hired praised the attention to detail, quality of materials, and workmanship. If my gushing over Beyond Exteriors hasn't convinced you, our actions should: we already have an appointment for Andrew to return and work up a project on siding and painting. We're that eager to continue working with them.
