She called AAA and had a tech come out to replace her tire with her spare. When the tech located her spare, it was flat. Most tire companies check your spare when you have new tires installed. She went back this morning to have her tires checked. The tech told her she needed an alignment. She explained that she just purchased the back two tires and they performed an alignment. He said he didn't know that even though she had it done in that store and he had reviewed her account on the computer. She asked to speak with a supervisor. A man named Joseph explained to her after she described her experience that America's Tire always offers an alignment when you purchase tires. That sounds horrible to me because they didn't check the car to see if need an alignment. They just offer it for the upsell. Furthermore, they patched the tire. So why would she need an alignment? Bad business. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but I have referred a ton of business to American's tires and I will not do that again. I feel bad for the next innocent, trusting individual that goes in and is under the impression they need an alignment when they don't. Because they offer it, regardless if the car needs it or not. They should be ashamed of themselves. And then they reply and say they want to correct it with more information but the link doesn't work.

My tire suddenly went flat, so I stopped by this location at 5:58 PM hoping they could just put some air in it. I didn't realize they were closing at 6 PM, so I felt terrible for showing up so late. There was an amazing young man with blonde hair--I unfortunately didn't catch his name--who went above and beyond to help me. He was incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to explain my options. Even though they were already closing, he made sure I knew what I could do to get my tire fixed and didn't make me feel like a burden at all.
