First time at Miss Worcester Diner, and now I get the hype. We slid into the last two seats at the counter (fate, clearly) but upgraded to a booth the second one opened--because these plates need their own zip code. The place was packed, the staff was friendly, and the walls were a nostalgic sticker bomb, giving the whole diner a time-capsule kind of charm. I had the strawberry-banana ricotta stuffed French toast--sweet, creamy, and dangerous. My partner went savory with a Philly steak & cheese omelette plus homemade corned beef hash that honestly deserves its own Yelp page. My only gripe? I like my hot chocolate super chocolatey, and this one leaned more on the watery side for my taste. Come hungry, leave in a food coma. I'll be back.

They aren't huge but have a full counter & 5 booths. The place is absolutely covered in stickers. Some are really funny. Everyone is down to earth and the food is cooked right in front of you. The menu is chocked full of delicious breakfast items and the prices are very reasonable. They don't use soy oil on the grill and that makes me very happy. I'm allergic to soy. Do not go here if you're in a hurry. There is one man doing all the cooking. He's doing an amazing job!

This place is a classic historic Worcester landmark! The service is prompt! The food is freshly made so you can watch them making it. The old school diner decor is great. The breakfast food quality is great...

A must visit for fans of diners. This old school diner is small and there is usually a wait. Little Miss Worcester diner serves breakfast all day and has a huge lunch menu. They are known for milkshakes and fancy fried french toast. The servers were friendly and explained the menu like the pros they are. This diner prefers cash payment but does take credit and debit. Ecpect huge portions and about $20 per person after tip.

ORIGIN: In 2006 Kim Kniskern purchased and reopened the long-vacant diner as Miss Worcester Diner. Kim had previously worked for years at restaurants, and can be found cooking meals for customers. A resident of Worcester since the age of 16, it can be assumed the diner, affectionately referred as "Miss Woo", is named after the owner who devotes much of her time to its success. LOCATION: Worcester was once a national center for dining car manufacturing. The diner is located in an industrial area across the street from the building in which it had been manufactured, the former Worcester Lunch Car Company. There is a small parking lot next to the diner. CONCEPT: The diner maintains its historic American diner roots, including the owner preparing dishes for customers. ATMOSPHERE: The diner, manufactured in 1948, is recognized in the National Register of Historic Places as being one of the few remaining dining cars that had been manufactured in the once thriving city dining car industry. FOOD: I tried the two popular breakfast dishes that were recommended as a must try by the server: crunchy French toast and Irish Eggs Benedict. The hype is warranted! The crunchy French Toast is a homage to childhood favorite cereal. Slices of bread are dipped in crushed Honey Comb cereal and subsequently fried, adding a welcomed flavor and texture dimension to the classic dish. Many other uncommon dishes on the menu, including a wide variety of stuffed French toast concoctions and milk shakes. Miss Worcester aims to please snd surprise! SERVICE: Service is attentive and personal, allowing a true dining car diner experience. TIPS: Only cash and Venmo are accepted for payment. The diner closes each day at 2 PM. There may be a wait to be seated.

The food is so good! The main concern is how loud the staff is! Throwing dishes and making this place loud is the reason I lowered the score! They didn't care that it was loud! The food is 10/10

We were seated relatively quickly, but then had an oddly long wait. Took a while for the waitress to notice us, then took an absurdly long time to order and bring drinks. Was an additional 30+ minutes (so long I actually started noticing the time) between ordering our food and receiving it. The food was great, and cheap, but I have no idea how they're maintaining their prices with such a small space and low turnover like that. Also, bathroom was missing its faucet handle (violation of 521 CMR 30.9.6), which raises all sorts of concerns about employee hygiene.

If you're in the mood for a classic diner look no further than Miss Worcester Diner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. It's an extensive menu. None of us tried the French toast, but it's worth nothing it had its own dedicated menu and looked outstanding. The Spanish Omelette with hashbrown patties and rye was a great value and was prepared well. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely be a regular here. One tip - if you forget cash they have a Venmo QR code posted.

Nice little diner. Good service. Busy restaurant with a lot of buzz. We went in for breakfast and had a huge meal with sausage eggs and bacon with pancakes my wife had cranberry walnut my son had Reese's and I had banana bread French toast. It was all very nice.

Pretty popular spot as there was a line to wait outside for this place, but we eventually got inside at the counter. Food - my boyfriend got "The Regular" which was bacon, homefries, 2 eggs, and toast (not pictured) and I got the Irish Benedict with homefries and homemade hash. Overall the breakfast was good, my only gripe is that I paid extra for homemade hash vs getting canned hash. I did enjoy their homemade hash but I think there is better out there. My bf said his breakfast was decent but not a huge fan as it was just a traditional breakfast platter and no real flare to the food. Also, we were pretty sad they didn't serve sourdough bread as a choice; we usually order this since it's IBS friendly! We did see they make huge pancakes, but we didn't end up ordering one since we knew in advance the portions are huge. Ambiance - packed, had to wait in line for about 15-20 mins for a seat. The sticker-bombed atmosphere was really unique about this place. Service - it was average service, served and was good at refilling my bottomless coffee. Overall, food was a 3.75/5 for us, I think we would go back for the atmosphere and to try something else. I highly recommend this place to add sourdough bread to their selection if they can :) Also FYI this place uses VENMO which is convenient to pay your bill quickly.

Delicious, I've had the famous French toast here but today I tried the Irish Benedict. Ordered the homemade corned beef hash, was phenomenal. Very good. Only waited for a couple minutes before being seated. The service was great and atmosphere with all the stickers is fun for the kids.

My breakfast crispy French toast and pics across from the counter area

Absolutely the best diner I have ever been to!! Stopped this morning got crispy French toast and bacon with real maple syrup 15 stars!! Friendly staff killer stickers all over and great food!! Will eat here every single time I'm in town!

Table is crammed: S&P, syrup, ketchup, sweeteners, creamer, napkins, jelly, three menus!

Miss Worcester Diner is most definitely a favorite with the locals. When we arrived there was one dirty booth available and we grabbed it! Unfortunately, we did not alert the staff that we were 'new customers' and they were waiting for us to leave so they could clean off the table! Oops. Be sure to let staff know you are looking to be seated! Once we got that sorted out, our drink order was taken and quickly brought. Seriously this tiny diner was absolutely mobbed the entire time we were there on a Saturday late morning. No one was 'stressed'. Staff and customers are laid back and rolling with the flow but the staff never stop moving. It did take a while for the waiter to come take our order, but that was fine because the menu is extensive for such a small establishment. They have an entire stuffed French Toast menu all to itself! There are lots of flavors you can add to your coffee, a huge selection of omelets, kids menus, house made hash, breakfast specials and a lunch menu of sandwiches and burgers. Booths seat four adults. There are counter seats that run the length of the diner. If you leave a space between you and your neighbor at the counter staff will ask you to move over. They need every seat. As it was very busy our meal did take some time to arrive. While we waited, we looked around the diner. It seems guests leave stickers behind. All over everything. Ceiling, wall, window. Reading and looking at them all kept us entertained and made for lively discussion. That and playing peek-a-boo with the toddler at the next table. Food quality is good and the items well prepared. It's your standard breakfast fare: eggs, breakfast potatoes, toast. They do it well. Our limited interaction with staff showed them to all be very nice and friendly. If you need the rest room, ask for the key. It's outside, around the back. A small, clean, well stocked, 'one for all' restroom. Although the parking lot is small (we luckily got the one spot left) it seems enough to keep the diner full! Park so as to make room for as many cars possible. No on-street parking and I didn't see any public parking lot nearby. BTW, there is a bus stop right by the entrance to the diner, which is off the parking lot. We thought it was a line to get in, but it's just folks waiting for public transport.
