My boyfriend and I stopped by here for an after-hike lunch. The sandwich shop is located inside the convenience store. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly- he offered us samples of his sauces to try, both very delicious. My boyfriend is a picky eater so I let him order- he got the Spicy Mama for us to split. Again, this is a convenience store so you can get drinks, chips, cookies.. anything really to go with. The sandwich was very good and delicious. Definitely can be split for two or leftovers. Would recommend if you are in the area! Wear a mask! read more

AMAZING yummy hefty sandos! My bf and I came in during lunch time and the owner was super nice and welcoming. He even let us sample the house made sauces (garlic and spicy sauce) with some fresh bread! By the way the sauces are reallllly yummy so definitely get both!!! We ended up getting a spicy mama and flying dutchman, both pretty poplar ones, and they were SOOOOOO GOOOD. The sandos were a lot so half is definitely enough for 1 person in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back again to try out the other ones! read more

This place does wonders, from the outside you might be confused because it's inside of a liquor store. But once you order and it's ready, WOW! The presentation is top notch, not to mention it's massive and the taste is 10/10. Also I'm not much of a dairy person, but he magically convinced me to get the special sauce haha. Hands down one of the absolute best sandwich shops I've been to. Don't let the outside fool you this place is a must experience in person. The owner pulls out all the stops to make you feel welcomed. He skillfully crafts your sandwich one at a time to your exact specifications. His personality is only matched by his amazing creations and sublime special sauce. The owner has traveled the world and it shows. They also have unique and unusual snacks from Germany and Europe. If you're in the area this is a must stop in. Too be honest you would not expect an amazing sandwich shop to be in this hole in the wall liquor store. The best way I can describe the owner is he is a troll, but in a nice and funny way. Although I recently made my first visit it won't be the last. The owner runs the store front and sandwich shop himself. He cares about the customer (at least when it wasn't busy he was chatting and making sandwiches for my group) and was extremely welcoming. Never underestimate the potential of a liquor store! This gem of a sandwich shop has wonderfully crafted sandwiches and loads of flavor! Only 12 bucks for a super filling lunch that you can easily take on the go, gotta be one of the best! There is a reason this place has 300 5-star reviews. Great sandwich, delicious sauces. yes its in a convenience store and there is no where to sit, but we stopped after a basketball tournament and ate on the curb outside. Guy that runs the place is awesome, super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great find! read more

Came to San Bruno for a Basketball tournament and before coming we looked on yelp to find a good sandwich place and this place did not disappoint. I had the fog buster my husband had the Flying Dutchman and my son had a personalized turkey. The homemade sauces are what make these sandwiches amazing but the fresh bread and meats are what complete the meal. If I lived in the area this would be a staple lunch spot for sure! read more

We've been buying sandwiches here for years both at this location and the Daly City one and find the service and quality excellent. However, on the early evening on June 21st, we were very disappointed. I arrived and waited at the sandwich counter and the young guy just ignored me and spent his time jawing with one looked like one of his pals. When I finally asked him about sandwiches, he cavalierly said they were all sold out! There was no sign of that - I just think he was lazy and didn't want to do the work he was paid to. My wife had earlier rated this place 5 stars and based one my 1 star experience that evening, I still give this place a 3. We finally ordered sandwiches from a nearly supermarket deli. read more

We saw this place getting great reviews on another site and being a longtime local we were surprised that we have never been there.I checked yelp for a review and decided to check it out.When we got to the parking lot there was no signage just a liquor store but when we walked by the door there was a sign /menu board above the drink coolers the prices were covered up and we were kinda dubious and almost walked out but said what the heck and we were glad we stayed we the tops pastrami sandwich and the Flying Dutchman I noticed the bread while long was rather thin but the end result was fantastic the pastrami was tasty but just okay but the Flying Dutchman was the bomb they gave a lot of meat and the lettuce was romaine not the shredded head lettuce you get at most places make sure you get the garlic sauce it really makes a difference the biggest drawback is that they run out of bread by 1pm so don't miss out read more

Without a doubt one of the best sandwiches I've had in YEARS! I came here with my girlfriend for my birthday to grab sammies before a beach adventure. The store owner was SO kind, he treated us like old friends. We got to try both the pesto and spicy sauces before the sandwich crafting began. I asked if he could make a vegetarian sandwich and his kind response was "I'll make you the BEST vegetarian sandwich" my girlfriend ended up getting the Fog Buster. He spent quite a few minutes putting them together with such effort and care. He chatted with us while he was working on them too, such a great conversationalist. You can tell he really loves what he does. We both ate half our sandwiches and were quite full. We saved the other halves for the following day: spoiler alert they were good on day 2 also. 10/10 would recommend and cannot wait to go back again. read more

Came here after a day at the beach. The sandwiches were very good - we had the flying dutchman and wasabi beef. The gentleman preparing them for us had us come look at the sandwiches before he wrapped them up so we could admire his handiwork which was cool and not something someone has ever done for me before. Clearly someone that takes pride in their work and I respect that. The toasted dutch crunch bread is delicious. The dutchman came with a dual sauce - a sort of sriracha mayo on one side and the "secret sauce" on the other. The flavor was excellent, however, having two sauces made the sandwich a bit runny and the bread a little soggy. I love the idea and flavor of the dual sauces but maybe just a little less of each would be perfect. Also kind of sad how when I look at pictures of the menu on Yelp I see the price for a sandwich used to be 5.99 and now with pretty much the same menu it has almost doubled. I understand inflation and such happens but paying $11 or so for a sandwich is pretty steep considering you can get cooked dishes at some restaurants for comparable prices. Had to stop by here when we were in Pacifica to see what the Yelp buzz is about. First of all, this place is located INSIDE a liquor store. I drove past it once and almost twice before I realized I was in the right place. Second, it i good to be aware that there is no seating available. Important to know if you are grabbing something on the run. Third, the guy who owns the place is very nice. Gave us a sample of the sauces to make sure we knew what we were getting. We got the Fogbuster on a Dutch Crunch roll: 4/5. turkey, provolone, garlic, basil, spinach, and tomato. Very good quality ingredients and tasted great. I would have this again. read more

Never have I seen someone pay more attention, or give more care, to making a sandwich. The sandwich master here is a true artist. He has a method to his madness and is truly dedicated to making you the best sandwich you will ever have in your life. We had the Spicy Mama and a custom Turkey, and both were phenomenal - not to mention gigantic! Great value, delicious sandwiches, will absolutely be back. PRO TIPS: 1. Don't judge a book by its cover (the exterior resembles an early 90's convenience store) 2. Come with time and hunger to spare (it took ~15min for our two sandwiches. I had to tap out 2/3 way through the first half of the sandwich because I could not eat anymore. Usually when you go to places that are known for their portion size, the food ends up being mid. Little Luca though backed it up with quality ingredients. As for the 1/2 half of my sandwich, I once again could not finish it all as I was chowing down while driving through Gilroy. Do yourself a favor and find a tag team partner to take on the challenge of eating their sandwich.

Just like the place is named after, they not only offer Subs, but it's a basically a mini-mart that sells Halal meats and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean grocery items. That's what I get for eating in the car. They have 10 items on their Subs menu, and they all look good. Aside from the Pastrami Wrap, they also have chicken, roast beef and turkey. This is the best sandwich shop in Pacifica I had the spicy mama and the fog Buster and they were both excellent their bread it's amazing and the owner told me they carry bread from Boudin company the only thing I recommend do not trim their bread because sometime you see the bread it's bigger and sometime it's smaller so please don't trim it or don't make it any smaller because that bread I can eat it all day all night even without meat. Sandwich store is inside the mart. Great store with a fantastic wine and beer collection. Find out about this gem of a store a few blocks from my home. Sandwiches are delicious. I'd stopped by this shop many times to pick up ice or a soda. I decided one day to order the Spicy Mama. It rocked! The sandwiches are large, plenty of meat, all the fixings, fresh bread and when you find your favorite sauces you can have them just as you like them. We're half way through the menu and haven't picked a favorite yet, they are all great. This is our go-to spot for a sandwich before hiking, golfing or if we have a long drive. read more
